Evaluation of teaching at medical faculties

Students assessment of the quality of teaching is part of the quality assessment of the university and as well it's the management tool used to manage the educational process at the university. The dissertation focuses on student evaluation of teaching process at medical faculties of the Charles Univerzity in Prague. The target of the dissertation is to find out student's and teacher's opinion about the student's teaching evaluation to be one of the quality assesment tools to rate universities, describe teaching evaluation at medical faculties being researched and to analyze annual reports and long-term purposes of selected medical faculties from the student's teaching evaluation point of view. Theoretical part of dissertation is divided in two chapters. The first one is defining the term college and deals with the quality at universities and finally deals with the annual reports of universities.Second chapter elaborates in detail the issue of students assessment of teaching at universities based on the study of professional literature. Remuneration of teachers in preprimary education

The aim of my thesis is the remuneration of teaching staff in pre-primary education. Remuneration is a part of personnel activities in the organization, so in the introduction of the theoretical part I deal with the general definition of basic terms relating to human resources and personnel work in organizations and here I outline the development and changes in human resources. In the next part of the theory I devote myself mainly to the most important personnel activity, which is remuneration. In addition to describing the basic concepts, the individual forms of remuneration are characterized in detail, both financial and non-financial. In my diploma thesis I deal with them more specifically at the level of pre-primary education and I also describe here the personal activities of the headmistress in kindergarten. The final part deals with the research, whose aim was to map the situation in the area of remuneration and subsequent satisfaction with remuneration, financial and non-financial. The survey was conducted in the form of questionnaires for teaching staff and interviews with two headmistress of kindergartens. Strategy of headmaster in selection and recruitment of pedagogical staff in kindergarten

This diploma thesis deals with recruitment and selection of the teaching staff in alternative nursery schools. The theoretical part defines personnel management and characterizes its main tasks. Furthermore, it focuses on recruitment and selection of staff. It describes ways of implementations, methods and sources, which are frequently used for recruitment and selection of the teaching staff. It defines selected types of alternative nursery schools, the role of the headmaster and the teacher. The practical part is based on quantitative survey. The results of the survey describe methods and ways of implementations, which are most frequently used by headmasters or human resources officers when recruiting the teaching staff. Furthermore, the results are used for creating a general comprehensive personnel plan for recruitment and selection the teaching staff in alternative nursery schools, which can be used by headmasters of nursery schools (especially the alternative ones) or as a study material in the area of human resources.
Managerial competences in pre-primary education

The thesis deals with the topic of managerial competences in pre-primary education. This topic has been chosen on the basis of ever-changing and evolving demands on the management of kindergartens and the need for high-quality and very comprehensive competencies of kindergarten headmasters. The aim of this thesis is to compare managerial competencies and on the basis of these acquired information to design the most appropriate model of competencies of directors of these contributory organizations. The theoretical part analyzes individual competencies in the field of economic, personal and legal management of the school. The practical part is focused on the comparison of individual areas of management in terms of their complexity and assessment of managerial competences with respect to the time burden. The work is based on professional literature, valid legal norms and results of the research conducted. RNDr. Jana Šafránková, DrSc., Department of Surface and Plasma Science Abstract: A great part of matter in a space has a form of dust grains, tiny pieces of rocks with the dimensions of hundreds nanometers to hundreds micrometers. In this environment dust grains undergo collisions with energetic particles (electron, ions, UV photons) that leads to their charging and modification. The presented thesis studies ion-dust interactions and is focussed on dust grain modification through ion implantation and its destruction via sputtering process. Two compu- ter models are presented - first for computing the ion implantation profile in the grain and second, for the shape of the sputtered grain lying on the surface of a bigger object. The resulting shape of the grain is compared with that obtained experimentally. Important results of the thesis are measured sputtering yields for spherical SiO2 grains at several surface potentials obtained by simultaneous ion and electron bombardments. This master thesis explores relationships between education and school culture. The theoretical part defines terms culture, education and main determinants of their relationships in terms of natural culture, globalisation, socioeconomic influence, political settings and public demand. In the empirical part, the level of influence of the founder of the school on its culture in the educational process is explored. Relationship of the founder and director of pre-primary education in the Pilsen region.

The Diploma thesis dealing with the relation between a founder and a director of pre-school education management in the Pilsen region, aims to evaluate a system of kindergartens, which are independent contributory organizations and whose founder is a municipality. To find out what competences the founder has in relation to a kindergarten, in which spheres the founder cooperates with a director. How the founder evaluates director's work, if he does control activities and if he works with outputs of the control bodies, especially the Czech School Inspectorate.To find out what the competences of a kindergarten director are, whether he is supported by the founder or not. To find out how the cooperation between the founders and the directors of kindergartens is evaluated by inspectors of the Czech School Inspectorate who are specialized in pre-primary education and work in the Pilsen Inspectorate of the ČSI. Tender for the academic staff at the university

The bachelor thesis deals with the description of the selection process for an academic at the university. In the theoretical part, the reader will familiarize with the personnel activities in the organization, including the recruitment of job seekers, pre-selection and selection of workers. This part of the thesis describes the methods of employee selection and the stage of the personnel selection process. The work also defines a college (university) and specifies an academic worker - a college worker. The research part of the thesis focuses on a detailed assessment of the selection process for university graduates. The research was carried out on a sample of public universities in the Czech Republic. Interviews were held with the staff responsible for the selection process at universities (Personnel Department staff). Further knowledge on this issue was gained through direct participation in the selection process for academic staff taking place at some universities.
