Application for Measurement of Threshold in Quiet and Masking Curves

Main aim of this thesis is to create an application for measuring threshold in quiet and masking curves in C++ language. First chapter describes basic teory of perceiving sound and phenomenon of masking. Second chapter focuses on description of different hearing measurement methods. Third chapter describes, how the classes and functions for frequency changing oscilator and evaluation were created and how the graph display function works. Next chapter describes, how to use the application properly and how to do the basic calibration, so the data will be displayed correctly. Last chapter shows the correct function, measured thresholds in quiet and masking curves for two subjects.

The house has an atypical layout with overall dimensions of 16.5 x 17.35 m The plot is built separate parking space. Family house is single-storey with a hipped roof. The building is partly basement. The supporting system of vertical and horizontical structures are made by Porotherm blocks. In the basement of the structure of concrete blocks. Truss structure is formed using the truss system.

Holders of economical politics on the regional level, their role and possibilities in the optimal adjustment of old age pensions scheme

Ph.D. thesis called "Holders of economical politics on the regional level, their role and possibilities in the optimal adjustment of old age pensions scheme" deals with the possibilities of a general solution for pension insurance in the scope of the region. The possibilities of the regional pension insurance system in the real conditions of the Czech Republic are described and analyzed, as it is difficult to transfer pension insurance systems from one country to another as a whole. Possible roles and possibilities of the region when dealing with the problem of old age pension insurance were defined on the basis of performed analyses. A specific outcome of this project represents the definition of conditions which must be satisfied if the public fund of Regional old age pension system should function. Its operation in the framework of second pillar of pension system seems like the optimal solution. The specific solution contains also the mathematical model of functioning of the regional pension scheme under defined conditions, which simulates possible development of the fund and the amount of old age pension received by the contributor provided he satisfies the defined requirements for entitlement to old age pension.

Measurement of parameters of optical elements

This work concerns assembling of the set-up for measuring of optical parameters, such as focal length, diffraction constant etc. Individual measuring methods (eg. Bessel method, Back reflectance method etc.) are tested on particular optical elements (biconvex lenses, transmission and reflective diffraction gratings) and later their pros and cons for use in Femtosecond laboratory in Faculty of Science are discussed.

Comparison of commercial and Open Source Business Intelligence reporting tools

Diploma thesis deals with comparison of commercial and Open Source Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools. The main aim of the thesis is to provide a list of BI reporting tools and their further comparison. Evaluation is based on a set of criteria. Every criterium has its assigned value that represents the importance of the criterium in a given group. The same procedure is applied on the groups. The final evaluation is based on defined values of these groups. The output of the thesis is a table structured into five parts according to defined groups of criteria. The second part of the thesis walks the reader through the practical showcase of implementation one of the selected tools that is SAP Business Objects Enterprise 4.0. At the beginning, there is a description of report proposal that contains graphical design and functionality requirements. Next part shows the whole process in detail.

This bachelor thesis deals with the effectiveness of controls in financial accounting. It's aim is to assess the role of today's control mechanisms and in the context of the present time to point out some shortcomings. The controls are divided into internal and external. It contains many descriptions of specific processes of both types of controls, together with the application of some of them in Business Media CZ. It expands on the internal control processes of Business Media CZ and gives examples of the failure of internal and external processes in two companies (Enron and Olympus). It describes the internal control processes of the company Business Media CZ, and control mechanisms in the light of today activities. It assigns weights of significance to the control processes.

In the practical part, author created a specific business plan for company Bistro Keramzit, which will provide fast food in the city Polná. It includes analysis of environment and competition and financial plan. The task of this document is to find out, if this company has a chance for successful and long-term operation on the market.

This bachelor thesis inquires Business Intelligence reporting tools and its usage for the company. The study contains six parts. The first part describes the needed terms and principles of Business Intelligence. The second part is all about history that leads to the term of Business Intelligence. In the third part the reader finds detailed description of Business Intelligence principles and will be introduced to Business Intelligence reporting tools. Fourth part gives overview of products on the market and the summarized comparison of products by 5 leading vendors on the market. The practical part of this study analyzes present processes of reporting and proposes a solution of implementing Business Intelligence reporting tools to a company delivering systems for managing water.

The insurance fraud issue in the Czech Republic

The thesis is being concerned with one of the serious criminal acts causing each year damages worth hundrends of millions Czech crowns. The main aim of the thesis is to provide a complex view of the problems. The thesis analyses the issue from both legal and economic angle of view, deals with the insurance fraud typology and proves the theory by evidence of particular cases. The thesis thereinafter discovers causations of commiting insurance frauds and describes the insurence fraud abatment. In the end the thesis tries to disclose the weak points of the system of prevention, to point at them and to come up with the improvement suggestions and recommendations.
