The bachelors thesis Impact of the "Civic Integration Abroad" Act on Dutch Immigration is dedicated to the Netherlands and its integration laws. The Netherlands has gone through a big change since the year 1998 and it has completely revised its approach to immigration and integration of incomers. It has stopped adhering to the multicultural approach and has gone in an entirely new direction, which supports a civic integration. This work is particularly focused on the law of Civic Integration Abroad, which was introduced in 2006 as a new measure for the integration of immigrants. The main essence of the law is to meet certain conditions and a successful passing of an integration test before arrival to the Netherlands. This law was the first of its kind in Europe and it was intended to restrict the immigration of certain groups of newcomers. For this reason, as an integration law, it also intervenes in Dutch immigration. The first part of the work is dedicated to the immigration to the Netherlands, to Dutch approach to immigrants and to the development of new integration policies until year 2006. Novotná, Anna ; Tomšej, Jakub (advisor) ; Štefko, Martin (referee)
Social Media and Labour Law Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the relatively new social phenomenon of social networks and its influence on various labour law institutes. The main aim of the work is to map out the most striking disputes that were judged both in the Czech Republic and in the world at national level, or at European level by European Court for Human Rights and Court of Justice of the European Union. I analysed their course, solution, justification, and pointed out the possible contradiction between them and add my point of view of the issue and the legal regulation and its shortcomings. For the sake of clarity and systematicity, I have structured the text into two parts. In the first part, I focused on introducing the topic in which I mentioned the overlapping of the issue into constitutional law and the issue of conflict of two or more constitutional rights. Very often, in a legal dispute, we encounter a conflict of employee's right to freedom of speech and privacy and the rights of an employer to protect property. In this chapter, I also worked out the specifics of labour law disputes, as the disputes are crucial for the rest of this thesis. In the second part I deal with individual aspects of the influence of social networks on labour law institutes. This crucial area of work was...

Key words: Mongolian female migrants in the Czech Republic, gender, migration, transnational motherhood, remmitences, social network, work Abstract In my diploma thesis I primarily focus on a situation of Mongolian women in the course of their labour migration into the Czech Republic. I addressed 20 women, who are (or have been until recently) transnational mothers living together and working in a factory in North Bohemia, Czech Republic, for my research purposes. Regardless the fact whether these women are married or divorced, single mothers or widows, it also connects them that they all may be considered breadwinners of their families. I was as well interested in what their decision was to leave Mongolia for the Czech Republic in order to get a job - I focused on both personal situation and general conditions in current Mongolia. My research deals with three main topics. Transnational motherhood is the first topic I deal with, in what I pay attention to what is the women's attitude to cope with their new role as well as what emphasis they place on it. Social networks issues and their usage in migration is firmly connected to this topic so that I also look into the way my participants use of these social networks together with the way these networks work.
