Development of the automotive industry in context of the post-crisis period
NOVÁK, Lukáš
The main of this bachelor thesis is to analyze and evaluate Czech automotive industry after an economic crisis and compares car industry in the Czech Republic, Poland and the Slovak Republic. The theoretical part explains history of the Czech automotive industry and state of the automotive industry in the EU and in the world. They are also described two industrial zones, which have created as a result of foreign direct investment and give space to build new car factory in the Czech republic. Causes of the economic crisis are described at the end of theoretical part. The practical part describing Czech automotive industry during reference period. Then are analyze individual car factory and describe development during and after economic crisis and explain the causes of changes in production and other selected indicators. The end of the practical part compares automotive industry of the Czech Republic, Poland and the Slovak Republic based on produced passenger cars, number of employees and number of new registered passenger cars.
Information System Assessment and Proposal for ICT Modification
Ludvik, Martin ; Novák, Lukáš (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of the current state of the company Ing. Jiří Povolný AUTOP from several levels. Based on the results of these analyzes, suggests a suitable solution to resolve the current state of the system. Suggested and recommended changes should simplify and speed up processes in the company, as well as ease communication with customers and raise employee awareness of the importance of the security of the information system.
The Theory of Cognition in Thomas Aquinas
Samec, Zdeněk ; Novák, Lukáš (advisor) ; Válová, Dita (referee)
(in English): The thesis "The Theory of Cognition in Thomas Aquinas" investigates the conception of cognition in the work of one of the most significant medieval thinkers, saint Thomas Aquinas. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the elements of Thomas's conception of cognition, i.e. sense perception, intellectual grasp of essences and Thomas's theory of intentional mediation of cognition (species sensibilis and species intelligibilis). In the following part of the thesis Thomas's theory of intentionality is considered in detail, with approaches of the so-called direct realism (held by D. Perler) and representationalism (held by R. Pasnau) taken in account. The thesis ends by its author's own evaluation of the controversy between representationalism and direct realism.
Biogenesis and function of peroxisomes, particularly in parasitic protists
Kočířová, Eliška ; Hrdý, Ivan (advisor) ; Novák, Lukáš (referee)
Peroxisomes are eukaryotic cellular organelles of a spherical shape surrounded by a single membrane. Peroxisomes contain no DNA nor ribosomes and all the peroxisomal proteins are encoded in the nucleus. Peroxisomal proteins are posttranslationally imported into peroxisomes via group of peroxisomal biogenetic factors called peroxins. The most common functions include peroxisomal beta oxidation of fatty acids, detoxification of reactive oxygen species metabolism of purines and synthesis of ether lipids. Some specialized functions are found in derived peroxisomes - glycosomes, glyoxysomech and Woronin bodies. Glycosomes, occurring in group Kinetoplastida, contains a substantial part of glycolysis, Woronin bodies, found in filamentous fungi, have a mechanical function and plant glyoxysomes contain the glyoxylate cycle. Previously, peroxisomes together with glyoxysomy and glycosomes were called microspheres or microbodies. Key words: peroxisome, Pex proteins, glykosomes, Trypanosoma, Leishmania
Suárez's Proof of the Existence of God
Pavlorek, David ; Novák, Lukáš (advisor) ; Němec, Václav (referee)
of the Paper The goal of submitted paper is to show Suárez's proof of the existence of God as the main task of his metaphysics and to show the influence of St. Thomas Aquinas and John Duns Scotus on his own system of metaphysics. As will be shown, the importance of this preeminent thinker of so called second scholasticism is in his synthesis of relatively incompatible doctrines of thomism and scotism. This paper will therefore deal with main problems of precedening tradition of Aristotelian metaphysics, especially with analogy of being as applied to God and creatures, then with theory of causality and other connected questions. Keywords Suárez - Thomas Aquinas - Duns Scotus - metaphysics - proof of existence of God
Mitochondrion of Trimastix pyriformis
Novák, Lukáš ; Hampl, Vladimír (advisor) ; Kolísko, Martin (referee)
2013 DIPLOMOVÁ PRÁCE Lukáš Novák Abstract Free-living microaerophilic protist Trimastix pyriformis is closely related to oxymonads which are the largest eukaryotic group without any known mitochondrion. In contrast to oxymonads, an enigmatic reduced mitochondrion has been found in the cell of T. pyriformis. In EST data of T. pyriformis, a number of genes has been identified whose products are putatively localized in the mitochondrion. Among these are genes for all the components of the glycine cleavage system, [FeFe]hydrogenases and the mitochondrial marker Cpn60. We performed experiments in order to determine the cellular localization of these proteins. Our results show that the glycine cleavage system is localized in the mitochondrion. Results of the experiments carried out in order to localize two hydrogenases suggest also the mitochondrial localization but are not fully convincing. The attempt to localize Cpn60 has failed. We have also identified a set of new genes in transcripts of T. pyriformis and Monocercomonoides sp. (Oxymonadida). These genes code for some components of the SUF system of FeS cluster synthesis and a peroxidase rubrerythrin. Key words: Trimastix, Monocercomonoides, mitochondrion, hydrogenosome, mitosome, hydrogenase, glycine cleavage system, SUF system.
Information System Assessment and Proposal for ICT Modification
Konečný, Tomáš ; Novák, Lukáš (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of the information systém for VIVO CONECTION s.r.o., which specializes in providing internet conection and communication technologies. The company uses an information system called IKARUS, which evolves itself. Based on the analysis of the current state, I will try to find weaknesses of the information system and propose optimization for maximum efficiency. The outcome of this thesis will draft amendments of information system to achieve better efficiency.
ICT Selection
