Murárová, Lucia ; Svoboda, Lukáš (referee) ; Májek, Jan (advisor)
The subject of the Diploma thesis is an urban study in the area of the former part of Tepna in Náchod. The Tepna area is largely after demolition and is currently dilapidating. This area has the potential for development and use, located within a short walking distance from the historic city center and at the same time from the residential area in the northern part of Náchod. Above the solved area is the castle, which is a dominant and a city landmark. The aim of the proposal was to use the potential of the territory at most, but at the same time to approach the surrounding landscape sensitively and to connect the urban character of the surrounding urban structure of the city and, conversely, the existing buildings of unclosed blocks are supplemented by new development.

Magnetic Loop Antenna with Electronic Tuning for Frequencies below 30MHz
Svoboda, Luděk ; Vágner, Petr (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's project was realization of a tuning system with complete software and testing of the system's functionality and parameters of antenna. The system is divided into two parts, tuner and controller. The tuner implements change of circuit capacity by switching capacitor series. For switching is used transistor with small transitional capacity but small maximal collector current, too. This parameter restricts the use of system. The second part, controller, uses microcontroller AT89C2051. The microcontroller switches capacitors (and thus sets frequency) according to requests sent from PC with control software. The functionality was checked by tests with network analyzer.
Renovation of the railway station in Ústí nad Orlicí
Velešíková, Karolína ; Svoboda, Lukáš (referee) ; Májek, Jan (advisor) ; Daněk, Lukáš (advisor)
The subject of the Bachelor Thesis was the reconstruction of the railway station in Ústí nad Orlicí. The content of the thesis was the Documentation for Building Permits and Documentation for Building Construction, based on the architectural study, which was created in the subject AG34-Atelier of Architectural Design in the winter semester. The building is situated on the outskirts of the town of Ústí nad Orlicí, near the village Kerhatice. Tichá Orlice flows nearby, and on the northern side of the building the terrain rises into a wooded hill. The station was built in 1874. Because of spatial reasons the building was placed between two groups of tracks. At the moment the only access to the building is by underpasses or by access roads for firemen from Nádražní street. Because of the construction of the new railway station, underpasses to platforms and their repairs, the old railway station was decommissioned, but the building was saved and declared as a cultural monument. The main idea was to design an appropriate solution for the using of the old building and preserve its original appearance from the time of construction in 1874. Restore the restaurant in a single-storey building. Create residential areas for the building manager, provide temporary accommodation for travelers, locate interesting historical information about the building and linking the building to the educational trail, possible multifunctional spaces such as workshops, offices and a small shop. Also rental spaces for hairdressers and cosmetics are also available. The assignment was also a space solution next to the object that is not being maintained. Therefore, a park layout was designed which serves passengers as a relaxation zone, for children for fun. The layout is an abstraction of the sound curve of a going train.

The influence of laterality of lower limbs of football players on game success rate.
Svoboda, Lukáš ; Dlouhý, Martin (advisor) ; Pokorný, Ladislav (referee)
The work examines 12 players from the English Premier League and their teams. The sample focuses on 3 players with a dominant right lower limb playing on the right side of the pitch, 3 players with a dominant left lower limb playing on the right side of the pitch, 3 players with a dominant left lower limb playing on the left side of the pitch, and 3 players with a dominant right lower limb playing on the left side of the pitch for a period of 3 months, corresponding to 12 matches. The players were monitored using video analysis. Their game success was recorded using notation methods. Statistical data analysis was used to evaluate the collected data. The aim of the work was to determine the success of the players in resolving game situations according to their laterality and playing positions. Their success was also compared and conclusions were drawn from the results. The results of the work showed that players playing on their non-dominant side excel mainly in shooting and passing statistics. Players playing on their dominant side showed significantly better results in centering. It was also found that both groups of players showed minimal percentage difference in the frequency of using their non-dominant limb.
