Smith Chart Visualization Tool
Marek, Martin ; Pokorný, Michal (referee) ; Kadlec, Petr (advisor)
The objective of my bachelor thesis was to create a Smith chart visualization tool in computing environment MATLAB. I created an impedance Smith chart in graphical user interface which delineate parameters of basic line types. Parameters of transmission lines can be defined in the Smith chart as normalized impedance, reflection coefficient, normalized admittance or impedance in combination with line’s characteristic impedance. It is also possible to design simple matching circuits, e.g. with quarter-wave transformer, series stub, parallel stub or matching circuits with lumped elements.
Optimization of the conveyor technology for transporting bodies in the field of sequential stack
Marek, Martin ; Hloska, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create simulation model of a conveyor node in the field of sequential stack topcoat paintshop of ŠKODA AUTO a.s. in Mladá Boleslav. Simulation model is create in Plant Simulation. The chapters of this thesis describes the overview of conveying technology used for the transportation of bodies in the solved area, basics of discrete simulation, describe solved area and process of creation a simulation model. Using the simulation model is tested overall throughput of solved area, when changes input parameters. From results of experiments are deducted the conclusions.
Toolbox for multi-objective optimization
Marek, Martin ; Hurák,, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kadlec, Petr (advisor)
This paper deals with multi-objective optimization problems (MOOP). It is explained, what solutions in multi-objetive search space are optimal and how are optimal (non-dominated) solutions found in the set of feasible solutions. Afterwards, principles of NSGA-II, MOPSO and GDE3 algorithms are described. In the following chapters, benchmark metrics and problems are introduced. In the last part of this paper, all the three algorithms are compared based on several benchmark metrics.
Numerical Integration in FITkit Platform
Marek, Martin ; Kunovský, Jiří (referee) ; Šátek, Václav (advisor)
This work discusses the application of numerical methods for solving differential equations using the Taylor series. This procedure was implemented using elementary numerical specialized processors in FPGA contained in FITkit. It was necessary to develop an environment that would be able to interpret the received values and display the graph. It was for a good understanding of the calculation procedure was necessary to develop applications that are able to view the elements in the form appropriate for the uninformed observer. It also experimented with various modifications of this procedure in order to increase the speed of calculation.
Universal Robotic Platform
Marek, Martin ; Kunovský, Jiří (referee) ; Marvan, Aleš (advisor)
This work deals with the proposal of the universal robotic platform. The paper descibes a robotic competition for which is posible to use this platform. There is a list of basic sensors that are suitable for small robot competition. Of course there is a short description for each sensor. In the chapter of the draft prototype are described types of chasis. There is an explanation of use of the differential gear for this platform. The text also describes the development of the prototypes platfom and used data bus for comunication between the periferies and the MCU.
Information System Assessment and Proposal for ICT Modification
Sekanina, Kamil ; Marek, Martin (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
This master’s deals with information system assessment of M8D s.r.o. and proposal for ICT modification. Describes the theory of information systems and on the basis of the analyzes are set out proposals to improve the current state of information system. This master’s thesis also includes the budget of ICT modification proposal.
Solving of Security Problems in Local Networks
Marek, Martin ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis is concerned with solving security problems in local computer networks. The main part deals with the solution of authorization of wireless clients against the RADIUS server and with the proposal of domain controller using open-source products and the tools of operating system GNU/Linux.
Torque vectoring differential utilization in the design of the current automobiles
Marek, Martin ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
The object of this bachelor thesis is to create analysis of the structural design ”Torque Vectoring” differentials and powertrain vehicles which use this type of differential. The project outset is devoted to an explanation of what the differential is and how it works, and then the distribution of differentials. The next section deals with active differentials, their principle function and design solutions. The end of thesis includes design solutions powertrain some models of vehicles using active differentials. The thesis has the character of search and contains no calculations or custom designs.
System dynamics: case of project team performance
Madry, Martin ; Mildeová, Stanislava (advisor) ; Marek, Martin (referee)
This thesis deals with modelling of project teams and their behavior using the principles of system dynamics. Main goal of this thesis is to create a model using system dynamics, which will allow to simulate how projects are finished. Results from the model are going to be used to define the best possible strategy to finish a project in required time. Theoretical part of this work is composed of presentation of project management and further the thesis extensively describes system dynamics, principles of system dynamics, used diagrams and possible ways of application of system dynamics in the real world. Furthermore are described the principles and advantages of using models and specifically system dynamics models. In the practical part of this thesis is presented the created model, which allows for simulating of project team behavior based on the input from the user of the model. Model serves the purpose of finding the best possible strategy to finish the product successfully.
