Development of the structure of users of social services for homeless people in Duhové Atrium centre in Kutná Hora between 2011-2017.

The thesis deals with the development of services for homeless people at the "Duhové Atrium" center. It deals with the causes and different forms of homelessness and it is focused on certain specifics of groups of homeless people according to age categories. The thesis also includes available data on the number of homeless people in The Czech Republic. The thesis aims to analyze the development of age and gender structure of homeless people at the aforementioned institution and to describe how the offer of so-cial services was changing regarding these aspects. Other organizations working with homeless people in the Czech Republic are also mentioned. Content analysis was the key method.
The impact of shared video game experience on the quality of transgenerational relationships

Objectives. Playing video games is a significant phenomenon in the lives of today's children and adolescents. The quality of intergenerational relationships is influenced by the sharing of specific experience. This study focuses on the impact of shared experiences with video game playing on the quality of relationships between grandparents and their grandchildren. Subjects and setting. The research sample consisted of 113 students of the University of the Third Age of Masaryk University (101 women) aged 59 to 80 (M = 66.3, SD = 4.1). Using the electronically distributed questionnaire, the level of video game experience, the sharing of video games with grandchildren, and the quality of transgenerational relationships were assessed. Results. Using the mediation model, it has been found that video game experience indirectly affects the quality of intergenerational relationships through mutual sharing of this experience. Limitations. The limiting factor for the generalizability of results is the involvement of a specific group of seniors (U3A participants), which is different from the general population of seniors.

PaedDr. Eva Šotolová, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The thesis presents the agenda of the Probation and Mediation Service and it's approach to offenders and victims of crime in the agenda of probation workers. It focuses on the area of re-offending and the possibility of reducing reoffending through appropriate follow-up services for conditionally released persons with probation supervision. The thesis analyses the problems resulting in the unsuccessful reconciliation of persons released from prison, in accordance with the aim of the thesis based on combined research (respondents were all probation workers in the Czech republic), as well as proposing possibilities for further development of work with conditionally released persons with probation supervision, and suggests systematic measures that could reduce the risk and rate of re-offending. Learning styles in informatics subjects

Diploma thesis contains information about learning styles of pupils and identifies effect respecting the learning styles of my lessons. Thesis distinguishes changes in the learning process and their results. Diploma thesis deals with learning styles in context Computer Science Education. The thesis contains theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part focuses on the didactic specifics and formulates the theoretical concept of learning styles in teaching information and communication technologies. The thesis respects preferred learning styles in a particular class and worked on the assumption that respect for learning styles in teaching information and communication technologies can be beneficial for teaching practice. The main objective is to find out change in the quality and results of the educational action. The conclusion summarizes and evaluates the results of research methods and formulates recommendations for teaching practice.
Crime Prevention of Children and Youth at Jesenik Region

Purpose of this thesis is to introduce prevention politics in Jeseník region and to examine how are these programmes for children and adolescents financed and who mainly realizes them, describe some past and current preventive programmes and make insight into their activities. In the last part of the thesis will be evaluation of activities of these programmes using an survey. First three chapters generally describe the juvenile crime prevention in the Czech Republic and some other states. In the fourth chapter, the demography of the Jeseník district is described. Last four chapters deal with prevention politics and how it works in the Jesenik district and who is in charge of the policy, which financial resourses are used and which organizations make use of these resourses. Moreover, the reader is told about the main objectives of the crime prevention in this area and about the process of fulfilling the aims. The last two chapters describe selected prevention programmes which have been implimented in the Jesenik district since 1996 up to now. And the questionnaire results are shown there. Reasons of Addiction to Methamphetamine

The main topic of my bachelor's work, are reasons of addiction to methamphetamine. The goal is to find out the most common and most important reasons why young people, aged from twenty-five to thirty-three years living in the small village Dobronín, became addicted to methamphetamine. First, the thesis deals with drugs, with their division, as well as with deeper information about methamphetamine and specifics of addiction to methamphetamine. The important part of my work are chapters about the causes of addiction, factors that increase the risk of addiction and factors that increase resistance to addiction. Part of the work is also devoted to drug prevention. At the end of the work, there is the questionnaire survey. The results of this survey correspond to the goal of my work. The influence of friends, curiosity and the influence of the environment and the place where they lived were the most common and most important reasons why young people started to take drugs.
Burnout Syndrome Problematics of the Rýmařov Region's Social Services Employees

Bachelor's thesis discusses burnout syndrome problematics of the Rýmařov region's social services employees, who work with seniors. Aim of this work is to map out the frequency and degree of burnout affecting social services employees in Rýmařov region. Additionally, thesis considers factors (personal and working conditions) probably involving or affecting creation and development of employees' burnout syndrome. Thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part of the work analyzes definition of the burnout syndrome, its symptoms, stages, associations with other psychical effects, risk factors, which plays crucial role during syndrome's formation, and last but not least, possibilities of help and burnout syndrome's prevention. Also, thesis shortly describes characteristics of the work with seniors and social services. The title of this work is Prevention and solving of bulling on elementary schools: Experiences of school methodologies of prevention from schools in Jaroměř. This bachelor work is about prevention and solving the bullying on elementary schools. It is concentrating on experiences of pedagogues with prevention and solving the bullying on elementary schools in Jaroměř. The goal of this work is to map the prevention and bullying solving based on the conversation with the schools methodologists of prevention on ZŠ Na Ostrově, ZŠ Boženy Němcové and ZŠ Josefov and to compare their practical experiences with available theory concerning bullying from books and internet sources. Another goal based on the interviews with ŠMP, is to try suggest steps, which would lead to improvement of solving cases which includes bullying on elementary schools. Practical part involves analysis and evaluation of structured conversations with schools methodologists of prevention which are working on schools mentioned before. It also compares between their experiences with theoretical part of the work and suggests steps leading to improvement of prevention and solving bullying on the elementary schools. On the limits of labour mobility within the EU

This Master thesis deals with labour mobility and aims to uncover the main drivers influencing the flows of workers within the European Union (EU). It first provides an extensive overview of labour market, labour mobility and legal framework in the EU. Then it discusses several theories and models dealing with labour mobility. The main part of this thesis consists in empirical analysis of labour flows within EU-25 countries. This analysis is meant to provide statistical evidence of relevant mobility drivers. Contrarily to similar works, this thesis takes into account not only economic and financial factors, but also social, psychological, linguistic and other non-tangible factors that might play important role in determining the labour flows within the EU. The thesis further focuses on specific mobility incentives of the Old and the New Member States. Based on results of the empirical model and the regression analysis, the thesis concludes by discussing the limits of labour mobility and suggesting a remedy aimed at enhancing it.
High school students information of hepatitis C virus

The theoretical part presents detailed information about hepatitis C. This part consists of definitions and findings associated with hepatitis C, especially in the area of transmission, causes, clinical features, treatment, and prevention. Main goal of the practical part of this work is to determine how much know the students of the selected grammar students in the Karlovy Vary Region about hepatitis C, from which sources did adolescents learn about the disease, what they know about the prevention, what they learn about the disease in the school and in which extent they learn about it. The work includes both qualitative and quantitative research. Key informations were obtained by: a questionnaire method for students Sokolov grammar school and conversation with the doctor of Carlsbad Regional Hospital. By quantitative research has been demonstrated low awareness of selected high school students about hepatitis C. Respondents were also often wrong in the answers to basic questions of the survey. The doctor of infectious department said detailed and interesting informations about hepatitis C in an interview.
