Borreliosis Lyme disease is the most - common antropozoonosis in northern hemispehere temperate regions. It`s transmitted by ticks and blood-sucking insect. It`s caused by bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato. Bacteria`s unique build, high variability and adaptability cause, that this disease is very hard to diagnose and treat, and it requires multi-speciality medical approach. These bacteria can cause many health complications. They are able to infest many different tissues. They can settle in central neural system, in muscles, connective tissues, skin, blood, immune system and many organs and they can sometimes cause irreversible damage. If this disease isn`t treated, it can change to chronical form, which can be strongly restricting and lowering life-quality of the infected ones and it can in rare cases even lead to their death. This disease is treated by many different antibiotics. The supporting treatment is often applied. The number of infected people was rising in the last years and so this disease was becoming much bigger threat than it was expected. (Methodology of compiling a nutrition plan) This bachelor thesis deals with the methodology of compiling a nutritional plan. It is based on the necessary personal and professional assumptions of the nutritional consultant. It describes the induction of a trusting relationship with clients. The cornerstone of a good nutritional plan preparation is to get many, often confidential, information about the client, his health, eating habits, lifestyle and their financial situation. These data together with the results of diagnostic measurements are then processed and a nutritional plan is compiled accordingly.
Child and horse : Animal Assisted activities for personal skills

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis defines the place of the AAA method in animotherapy and its use within hippotherapy. This part briefly presents the methodology and the range of clients of the Equine Assisted Activities (EAA). Moreover, human-animal interactions are introduced in terms of being an advantage for the personal development of a child. Additionally, risk factors related to child development are mentioned in this section. The results of the qualitative research, made up of a sample of children attending the private stable, is submitted in the practical part of the thesis. The research was based upon logs of observations and interviews with members of the stable using grounded theory. The purpose of the research is to demonstrate how contact with horses can help the mental and physical skills development of a child.

The name of the thesis: Practical exercises using the theme of tropical and subtropical fruits in teaching natural history and biology describe the basic issue that the following text is devoted to. This thesis is connected to my bachelor thesis, "Tropical Fruit in Natural History and Biology Textbooks," defended in 2010. The main objectives of the thesis was to complete the contentual analysis of natural history and biology textbooks for the 2nd degree of primary schools, lower grades of grammar schools, and secondary schools. I focused on the issue of the incorrect inclusion of certain plants in chapters for tropical and subtropical fruits. Based on the total contentual analysis of textbooks, I have chosen the processing of practical exercises with the theme of tropical and subtropical fruits as the main objective. Based on the evaluation of the questionnaire, which served as a basis for practical exercises, in which teachers of natural history and biology were addressed, I was focused primarily on lab exercises, worsheets, proposals for project days, didactic games, and excursion worksheets, when creating the practical exercises. Viral hepatitis - knowledge of upper grade high school students This thesis is focused on the issue of all types of viral hepatitis. The work is divided into two large units. The first part is theoretical and provides a comprehensive overview of all types of viral hepatitis in general. It deals in detail with each type separately; it describes its characteristics, what causes it, its epidemiology, course, diagnosis, treatment and prevention. The empirical part investigates the level of knowledge of students of third and fourth grade of high schools from a quantitative survey. It includes pedagogical research, whose task was to determine what knowledge students had acquired during compulsory education, and it also includes evaluation of this research.

Epstein-Barr virus Bachelor thesis summarizes the findings of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), its general characteristics, transmission and spread of the virus, symptoms of disease and subsequent therapy and recovery. More specifically, it focuses on infectious mononucleosis, as well as more generally to other diseases, which the Epstein-Barr virus causes. It includes details of the vaccine against EB virus. There are the statistics on the incidence of infectious mononucleosis.

HIV and AIDS The object and purpose of this work is to map and summary of publicly available information about HIV and AIDS. Larger part of the work is focused on history, which surveys the breathtaking speed of the spread of HIV and AIDS worldwide. Statistics show, that people's awareness about HIV and AIDS is relatively low. Therefore I believe the information collected here will be able to use in the future to deepen students' knowledge in teaching natural history and biology.
Project focusing on healthy lifestyle of preschool children

Project focusing on healthy lifestyles of preschool children According to the recent epidemiological examination has more than half the Czech population overweight. Overweight and obesity are associated with many serious health problems, higher mortality and significant are also high financial charges of their treatment. This thesis deals with a healthy life style and children's obesity issue. It's divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical chapters discuss about issues associated with health, nutrition, drinking regime, physical activity, relaxation, causes and consequences of children's obesity, food allergies and outline the principles of healthy nursery school. The practical part is about week project developing principles of a healthy life style. This inspiring instruction aims to take children and gently pull them to the topic and develop healthy living habits and attitudes. Due to the project realisation I was able to find out, that most pre-school children have acquired knowledge regarding healthy life style. However there are mainly parents, who are affecting food and leisure time their child, unfortunately not always in the right way.
Use of attempts focused on environmental education in nursery schools

In the theoretic part of the thesis I cite information about environmental education in nursery schools, classification of didactic methods, explication of the term "experiment" and basic information about the experiments. In the next part I bring a list of experiments that are applicable for work with preschool-aged children. In the practical part I mention several experiments chosen from the list that I implemented and documented. The practical part also contains questionnaire research aimed at frequency and circumstances of experiments used in nursery schools. At the close of the thesis I present findings that teachers in nursery schools use the method of experiment in a high degrese.
