Nature trails and their use in environmental education

The bachelor thesis deals with the concept of nature trails and their use in environment al education. In the theoretical part, I will focus primarily on the general characteristic, which appears similarly in publications. Above all, it is the basic definition of nature trails, types of nature trails, rules for creating information panels and what each nature trail should contain. F urthermore, the contribution and function of nature trails as described in printed, documented literature will appear in the thesis. Definition of the contribution of nature trails to environmental education in comparison with o ther environmental education tools according to the basic literature on nature trails. Furthermore, I will present how environmental Education (EEA) is described in the St ate EEA Programme and in the Methodological Instruction of the Ministry of Education, Yout h and Sports to provide environmental education at secondary schools, secondary vocational s chools or vocational schools, which will provide illustrative instructions on how to implement environmental education at these schools and how it is embedded in the school's documents. How pupils perceive their bodies during puberty

This thesis deals with the topic of the human body, its perception and self-assessment in adolescent girls and boys at the second stage of primary school, more precisely in pupils of the sixth and ninth grades. The aim of the thesis is to explore the issue from, for example, a psychological or historical perspective. Furthermore, to assess the subjective perception of the body during puberty in selected pupils of the second grade of primary school. At the same time, to compare the differences in the perception of one's own body between boys and girls and between sixth and ninth grades. At the same time to find out whether there is a noticeable difference between the pupils and whether they are satisfied with their bodies or not. Subsequently, to uncover possible causes of body dissatisfaction among adolescents and to find factors that may influence self-acceptance. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part discusses the topic of adolescence and its characteristics, as well as, for example, self-concept, self-esteem or the influence of the media on the way one views one's own body. The presented diploma thesis deals with the position of the introducing teacher and looks at the problems of beginning teachers. Today, this position is often mentioned not only in connection with the teacher's career growth, but mainly in connection with the large leaving of beginning teachers after their first years in education. The theoretical part focuses not only on the definition of a beginning teacher and description of their adaptation period, but also on professional opinions and information about the their personality. Furthermore, the theoretical part dwells on the challenges and shortcomings of beginning teachers, which are associated with entry into practice. The final chapters of the theoretical part are devoted to the very position of the introducing teacher. The content of their work and role at school are described there. The practical part focuses on the experiences of beginning teachers with their adaptation period and their introducing teacher. We will try to look into the introduction process and find out how beginning teachers perceive the role of the introducing teacher, what they expect from them and what their requirements are. Readiness of beginning teachers for prevention and solution of school bullying

This diploma thesis will focus on school bullying, the readiness of beginning teachers to address this issue. The aim of the thesis is to describe and characterize the readiness of beginning teachers from the Karlovy Vary and Pilsen regions to solve school bullying. The theoretical part contains the definition of partial concepts of school bullying. It points out the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of bullying at the primary school level. It also explains the concept of beginning teacher, deals with the professional training of teachers, the key output of teacher training - professional competencies. Last but not least, it points to shortcomings in the professional training of teachers towards practice. The empirical part will analyze the research of beginning teachers in the Karlovy Vary and Pilsen regions. The evaluation was based on a questionnaire survey of 79 respondents and the results show that most of the interviewed beginning teachers do not feel relevantly prepared to address the issue of school bullying in practice. The results also point to huge differences between graduates of different universities. Consumption of energy drinks by pupils at a selected lower secondary school ABSTRACT The presented bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of energy drinks consumption by pupils at a selected lower secondary school. The concept energy drink is described in the introduction to the theoretical part of the thesis. Furthemore, the theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to the description of the most common components in energy drinks. Subsequently, the thesis focuses mainly on the amount of sweeteners in selected energy drinks on the Czech market. In the practical part of the thesis there is a questionnaire survey investigated among pupils at the lower secondary school in Český Brod, where their general awareness of energy drinks is ascertained.
