The position of love in the spirituality of St. Francis de Sales
Svobodová, Jana ; Brož, Prokop (advisor) ; Houkal, Jan (referee)
The centre of S. Francis of Sales's spirituality is love. In my thesis, first of all, I deal with formative influences which formed his personality. This is the starting point in the discourse about Francis's theological optimism, its roots and its influence on the conception of God. For S. Francis God is esentially the God in Trinity, who share love in the highest manner also with a man through the mystery of Incarnation. Francis's conception of love that has its seat in the heart of a human being is connected with that conviction. In the very top of a heart there is the will which is called up to make decisions according to love that gives the true motivation. On the way of the growth of love the highest aim is the holy indifference, which enables God to act in a human heart according to His intentions. For S. Francis love to God is closely connected with love to a man who is the image of God. During his direction of souls to love S. Francis recommends first of all kindness and as the main mens a prayer and sacraments. The heart which has become fully pervaded with love, which loves and is loved, we can best contemplate at Virgin Mary.

Method: This is a theoretical work, the kernel of the work will be at tracing specialized publications, journals and websites, collecting information, filtering the relevant data in their comprehensive use. Results: Objective of thesis was largely achieved. It turned out that the topic is very broad to draw up a detailed summery of the entire history of the research question. The topic was therefore processed generally and is more like a preview than a perfect description. Intended overview was given. Physiological and hormonal mechanisms influencing ejaculate quality in birds
Mojžišová, Kateřina ; Tomášek, Oldřich (advisor) ; Svobodová, Jana (referee)
Sexual selection is an important mechanism of evolution. In addition to precopulatory sexual selection, arising when males compete for female partners, there is also postcopulatory sexual selection (sperm competition), when females copulate with more males. Even though most avian species are socially monogamous, most of them are also partially promiscuous. In such species, sperm competition is an important factor increasing variability in reproductive success between males. Male's success in sperm competition is primarily determined by sperm concentration, total sperm count and morphology and motility of spermatozoa. My bachelor thesis summarizes knowledge about the hormonal a physiological mechanisms that influence semen quality. This is especially the effect of sex and other hormones, physiological and oxidative stress, environmental conditions, antioxidant mechanism and composition of sperm cell membrane. Besides evaluating their influence on ejaculate quality on intraspecific level, I also describe their differences between avian species with respect to the differences of sperm competition.

Title: Interest in Athletics and other activities for children aged 12 - 15 years. Objectives: To determine interest in athletics and other activities for children aged 12 to 15 years and to compare the responses of children from selected elementary schools and grammar schools. Methods: A questionnaire survey was used to meet the objectives. Questionnaires were distributed to two schools - Elementary School (ZS Jilovska) and Grammar School (Gymnázium Omska), of which neither one focuses on sports. Age group was between 12 to 15 years of age. Total of 359 questionnaires was collected. Acoustic and visual signalization in birds: Identification of key components and their role in sexual selection
Mikula, Peter ; Albrecht, Tomáš (advisor) ; Svobodová, Jana (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on describing visual and acoustic signals in birds and their potential role in the process of sexual selection. Evidence that acoustic and visual signals are sexualy selected is summarized. The key characters that can be utilized in comparative studies are determined. In the first chapter of the thesis are briefly outlined mechanisms of sexual selection and evolution of costly secondary male ornamentation. In the second chapter basic avian ornaments (colouration, acoustic signals) are described. The emphasis is on visual and acoustic structures which are costly to produce and serve as honest indicators of individual condition. The third chapter is devoted to the possible trade-offs between visual and acoustic signalization in birds. The last section summarizes hypotheses about potential relationships between visual and acoustic signalization (and trade-offs between these two types of ornamental traits) in relation to changing environmental conditions.
Case law of the courts in electoral matters and the development of electoral legislation in the light of judicial review
Svobodová, Jana ; Antoš, Marek (advisor) ; Hřebejk, Jiří (referee)
Case law of the courts in electoral matters and the development of electoral legislation in the light of judicial review The main objective of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the electoral justice and electoral legislation, which is unfortunately highly fragmented across several laws. The current form of the Electoral Law causes a number of problems in practice, which the administrative courts and the Constitutional Court have to deal with. Various legislative and executive bodies are formed on the basis of the elections and their results, which subsequently affects the entire legal order and, consequently, each individual through their activities. This thesis includes a description of how the courts proceed under Section Four of the Administrative Procedure Code when reviewing elections. It also contains an overview of the development of the influence of the Constitutional Court and legislation on electoral laws and an assessment of possible future developments through an analysis of individual court rulings and decisions relating to elections and their review. Keywords: judicial review of elections, development of electoral jurisprudence, development of electoral law
