Evaluation of Nonformal Education - Preparation of Volunteers in particular Non-profit Organizations

The central theme of this thesis is the phenomenon of volunteering with an accent to preparation of volunteers in two non-profit organizations, namely INEX- SDA and YMCA in Czech Republic. The structure of the thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part follows the basic terms and aims to put the phenomenon of volunteering to the wider context of civic society. The empirical part is focused on description of two chosen non-profit organization and afterwards, it is concentrated on empirical research. The aim of this research is to bring knowledge about educational program of volunteers` preparing to the voluntary activities in named non-profit organizations. Training courses for managers and possibilities of innovation in short-term courses for lower management

The present work focuses on training courses and education of lower level management. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of lower level management and its specific position in the organizational structure and competencies that are important. Another part of the theoretical work is devoted to education and the creation of educational activities including evaluation methods. There are presented two management courses in the empirical part for the lowest managerial positions at McDonald's Czech Republic and Slovakia. There are suggested possible improvements and changes in the conception rate onthe basis of the theoretical work. Part of the empirical part is also evaluation of feedback provided by course participants but systematically not processed. Workers' motivation in the period of young and late middle adulthood

This thesis focuses on the topic of motivating workers, particularly on two groups of workers - workers in the life period of young adulthood and workers in the period of late middle adulthood. In the introduction the reason for chosing this topic is explained, there are also defined the key words of this problematic and the classic motivation theories; the overview of the motivation theories focused on work environment follow afterwards. Also the findings of developmental psychology, concentrating on the life period of young and late middle adulthood and its differences are presented. Not only the classic literature was the source for this thesis; also many researches that were carried out in recent years and that are focusing on finding out the main difference of motivation of these different groups of workers were the base for this thesis. In the last part of this work I analyse my own findings that are based on the interviews I made with young and older workers and I compare these findings with the findings presented in the international researches. Attraction and recruitment of university graduates: different perspectives of interested parties

5 Abstract This diploma thesis titled as Attraction and recruitment of university graduates: different perspectives of interested parties discusses the possible implementation of graduate recruitment within different organization. The text is divided into a theoretical part, which outlines the basic terminology and describes human resource activities connected with graduate recruitment and possible psychological profile and characteristics of graduates. The following chapters discuss situations that affect the perception of graduates in the labour market. The last chapter describes the available studies and investigations related to the evaluation of processes by participants. The empirical part focuses on the recruitment and selection of graduates in five different companies. The qualitative approach was used and semi-structured interviews were held with recruiters and graduates. The empirical part includes a comparison of processes in different companies, evaluate websites in the context of graduate recruitment and discuss the aspects of these processes, such as the perceived length of selection procedures, salary expectations of graduates and among other findings, what was most important to graduates when considering job offers. (in English): Dissertation is focused on the continuing education of teachers in terms of the current legislation of the European Union and the Czech Republic as one of the key adaptive mechanisms that ensure the ability of the education system to adequately respond to the ever changing social conditions in today's globalized world. The theoretical part through the analysis of different theoretical approaches to further education, defines and describes the issue of further education of teachers , the system - specific conditions , areas and its financing. It deals with the areas of the teacher's profession, their competences , career structure and professional standards. The empirical part of this dissertation, based on empirical research, describes the system of further education of teachers both in terms of school leadership , and from the perspective of teachers and it maps specific factors affecting the quality of the current further education of teachers.

The aim of this bachelor thesis "Motivation for continuing education and factors affecting participation in continuing education" is to analyze what motivates adults to participate in continuing education and what are main obstacles in adult education. The paper consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with an overview of basic knowledge about the issue with the use of literature, both domestic and foreign authors. The second, practical part contains a description of own empirical survey. The aim of the survey is to identify the main reasons for adults to participate in continuing education and detect the most common barriers, obstacles to such participation. The survey is trying to confirm the conclusions from the theoretical part by the analysis of the select company. The topic of this dissertation is employee education in the organizations. This work begins with the description of a comprehensive system of training and education of employees in the organizations. Next chapters are devoted to the business education system with focus on conception of learning organizations. The subsection is also focusing on the concept of strategic human resources development. An important chapter of this dissertation is a description of the process of designing the training of employees in the organizations, which includes parts focusing on the identification and analysis of a need of education, planning and implementation of education and its evaluation. In this framework are defined areas such as learning objectives, selected subgroup of learners, forms and methods of educational events, role of personality motivation and trainers. The practical part is devoted to description, analysis and comparison of the selected small organizations in terms of structure and organization of the education system.
