Zpráva obsahuje vyhodnocení dílčích úkolů plněných v roce 2005: 1. Studium dynamiky klíčových bioindikátorů stavu vybraných suchozemských ekosystémů, 2: Sledování dlouhodobých změn a hodnocení vývojových trendů krajinného prostředí prostřednictvím analýz dat dálkového průzkumu Země, s důrazem na dynamiku vlhkostních a teplotních parametrů ve vztahu ke změnám struktury a funkce vegetace, 3. Vyhodnocení územního vývoje sídel, vývoje počtu obyvatel a závislosti na měnících se historických podmínkách, vývoj sociální struktury obyvatel a změn ve vlastnictví půdy a interpretace těchto vývojových trendů ve změnách charakteru krajiny.

Determination of recharge zones by means of vegetation water stress based on remote sensing and ground measurements

The watershed recharge zones with high soil permeability are critical source zones of non-point agricultural pollution. Their delimitation is the condition of targeted agricultural management in protection zones of water resources. The accelerated water runoff from permeable soils of recharge zones reduces actual evapotranspiration and supports faster formation of vegetation water stress in comparison with other watershed parts. Recharge zones delimitation upon this theory was carried out on a small watershed (partially drained) by a combination of aerial photography in the infrared and optical spectrum of electromagnetic radiation, which provided a basis for modelling of surface energy balance components and crop water stress index (CWSI). The best indicators of vegetation water stress determined by statistical analyzes in order to define recharge zones (arable land with closed stand) were revealed evaporation fraction, CWSI and surface temperature. The results were supported by detailed pedological survey.

Consumer segmentation on the Czech beer market

This master thesis focuses on consumers on the Czech beer market. The main objective is to get knowledge of current consumers through a qualitative research. Based on the most important tendencies I will carry out a segmentation of the market. As a result, profiles of main consumer types will be identified. Deep knowledge about current consumers will provide valuable recommendations for developing optimal communication strategy. I will especially concetrate on attitudes to advertisements and main elements of advertising campaigns.

Comparison of the contemporary economic development of the USA and the EU

The thesis deals with the comparison of the economic development of the USA and the EU from the beginning of 1990s till the present. The development of both economies is analyzed by means of main macroeconomic indicators. The thesis focuses on the detailed analysis of the GDP growth, unemployment rate and inflation rate. It reflects changes in the economic dynamics and analyses ability to adapt to economic crises of last few years including the current one. There is also a description of main trends regarding the economic development in the USA and in the EU and a difference between them. The thesis contents also a prediction of future development.
