The impact of educational activities of selected NGOs in the CR on the process of migrant children inclusion to the Czech society

In my Master thesis, I deal with the impact of educational activities of selected NGOs on the process of migrant children inclusion to the Czech society. The thesis is both theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with the process of immigrant integration and with the role of the governmental and non-profit organizations. A large part is devoted to the migrant children's education and to the difficulties which they have and must overcome. The end of the theoretical part presents the educational activities of selected non-profit organizations, which focus not only on helping migrant children, but also on working with schools and families of the children. The empirical part examines the impact of specific educational activities realized at the community center InBáze on the process of migrant children inclusion to the Czech society. Socialisation of a Child in Homoparental Family

The bachelor thesis "Socialization of a Child in a Homoparental Family" examines the new phenomenon of children who are growing up in homoparental families. The aim of the theoretical part is research of legislation in the Czech Republic, research of the primary socialization process of a child in a family, and the theme of prejudice, in which I will try to find important considerations which influenced the formation of a homoparental family. The aim of the empirical part is an introduction of opinions from professionals who are connected with the theme of homoparental parenthood. The theoretical part deals with the legislative basis of registered partnerships and the possibilities of the formation of a homoparental family. Furthermore, attention is paid to the primary socialization of a child in a family and the child's basic needs. The end of the theoretical part looks at the issue of prejudice, its formation and its manifestations. The research probe, which is described in an empirical part of the bachelor thesis, includes five structured interviews with professionals from several areas of expertise. It presents points of view of experts on the issue of homoparental parenthood. Current issues in bilingual education in the Czech Republic and Great Britain

The main aim of my final thesis is the comparison of bilingual education in the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom, with the focus on Wales and England. Regarding to be able to make this comparison, I had to focus first on history as well as recent trends in European education policy in the field of language and bilingual education, as well as the history and basis of bilingual education, the definition of Czech bilingual education, defining the British education system, defining the British bilingual education with a focus on England and Wales and a comparison of Czech and British bilingual education. Contribution of my work is that the investigation was carried out and compared to the current phenomenon of bilingual education in the international dimension.
Czech minority education in Romania's Banat

This bachelor's theses is focused, as is obvious from title, on the education of Czech minorities in the Romanian part of Banat (other parts of Banat have Serbian and Czech minorities, but they are not covered in this project) describing education from old Czech villages to modern situations at elementary schools. It mentions changes in the historical context, which local education fundamentally affect in the coming years, describes basic parts of educational system, and also partnership with Czech Republic. An important part is also the research which was going on in Banat's schools. In addition there are also pictures of children from Gernik's Elementary School, class schedules, and questionnaires.
Possibilities for the development of cognitively gifted pupils within the primary education

The Bachelor's thesis deals with possibilities for the development of cognitively gifted children within the primary education. It is divided into two parts, a theoretical one and a practical one. The theoretical part is focused on explaining terms which are related to the topic, characterizing cognitively gifted pupils and defining possibilities for the development of cognitively gifted pupils. The practical part comprises of a qualitative research aimed at finding out schools' and their teachers' attitude towards the education of gifted pupils and discovering what kinds of teaching methods or other strategies are used within the educational process.
Educational Problems of Children from Divorced Families

The bachelor thesis "Educational Problems of Children from Divorced Families" discusses the negative impact of divorce on children. I've focused mainly on the problem and delinquent behaviors, changing the school's results, the issue of truancy and overall success of children from divorced families. But also brings answers to important questions: Why divorce rate is increasing ? How to minimize these negative effects of divorce on children? This thesis is entirely theoretical, but builds on available foreign research that provide the necessary facts and long-term results for this work.
The Relationship Between Teacher and Pupil in Extracurricular Education

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the relationship between teacher and pupil in extracurricular education. This theme was chosen on the basis that extracurricular education, specifically the creation of the relationship between teacher and pupil in extracurricular education, not by me a lot of literature and it is still an area less discussed. The theoretical part of the thesis I have dealt with the interaction between teacher and pupil, which was the subject of my research. I compared the extracurricular and school education, I have focused on the personality of the teacher and the pupil, and the shaping of the relationship between teacher and pupil. The aim of theoretical part was to compare the school and extracurricular education, characterize the personality of the teacher and pupil and describe the process of forming a relationship between teacher and pupil in school education. The empirical part I made research, which I used qualitative method as a tool chosen semi-structured interview. Interview was directed to teachers who deal with extracurricular education. The aim of this thesis was to determine which factors influence the relationship between teacher and pupil. Home preparation of pupils with specific learning disabilities

The thesis addresses the issue of students' home preparation at primary school. The thesis is focused on students with learning disabilities, so in the first chapter of the theoretical part these disabilities are analyzed, describing their etiology and education opportunities in the school education system of the Czech republic. Re-education, as one of the ways through which we can help to eliminate manifestations of specific learning disabilities, is also emphasised. The characteristics of a child of primary school, education maturation, the process of learning and cognitive processes are contained in the second chapter of the thesis. Home preparation, its functions, types and factors are comprised in the third chapter. This chapter also describes the necessity of cooperation between parents and the school. The empirical part provides the description of home preparation of pupils at primary school with specific learning disabilities. The end of the practical part shows us a collection of games, activities and experiences of our respondents, which are enriched with vertified activities, games and recommendations related to the pupils with specific learning disabilities. The Instruction of the Second Foreign Language at the Second Grade of Basic School

(in English) This bachelor thesis deals with the instruction of foreign languages and especially the second foreign language at basic school. The second foreign language as a compulsory subject was introduced in 1. 9. 2013 and during the following school year 2013/2014 was implemented into the education documents and taught at basic schools for the first year.
Parents as co-attendants to inclusive education

The thesis deals with inclusive education, specifically parents as co-actors to inclusive education. The goal of the thesis is to determine what role parents occupy in cooperation with a school with inclusive concept of education, what are their views on inclusion, and thus contribute to the current topic of inclusive education. The theoretical part focuses on the current changes in the field of inclusive education, social heterogeneity in inclusive school, educational approaches and needs in inclusive education and on teachers and parents as actors for inclusive education. The practical part contains case studies on three selected schools with inclusive education in Prague. Part of these case studies is interviews with teachers and parents on the involvement of parents in inclusive education.
