The Management of Services in a Selected Company
ČERNÁ, Kateřina
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to examine the degree of customer satisfaction with Kenast, s.r.o. The company focuses on school and office equipment. The company was evaluat through analyses specializing in external and internal environments. In the practical part analyses of the state of the company were carried out. Selected analysis include, for example, STEP analysis, SWOT analysis, SPACE matrix, or questionnaire survey. The questionnaire survey was provid to 100 business customers who rated their satisfaction with the services. On the basis of the analysis carried out, proposals were made to improve the service in the future. The proposals were not very much because the analysis made show that the position of the company on the market is very strong and the customers are fully satisfied with the offer of services. Therefore, it is recommended to the company to remain focused on its customers, maintain the status of "family business with exceptional atmosphere" and provide high quality services as it has been so far.
Population genetics and speciation in Stylops (Strepsiptera)
Kodejš, Karel ; Straka, Jakub (advisor) ; Černá, Kateřina (referee)
This thesis is focused to population genetics of selected species of genus Stylops in Europe. Within this genus, five species was analysed by usage of two approaches - microsatellite analysis in Stylops ater and analysis of mitochondrial DNA in all five species. Mitochondrial gene for cytochome c oxidase (1st subunit) was used. For microsatellite analysis was performed bayesian clustering analysis and ABC approach (Aproximate Bayesian Computation). Mitochondrial markers were processed by making haplotype networks and demography analysis by computing Bayesian skyline plots. For Stylops ater, surprisingly low lewel of population subdivision was detected, yet with clearly differentiated population clusters from Scandinavia and baltic coast of Europe, which may imply period of isolation of these populations or relativelly recent population expansion and genetic differentiation due to lower population sizes. Next, hypotesis of possible temporal segregation of subpopulations of Stylops nevinsoni based on different aktivity period of their host species groups, was supported. In other three species, population subdivision was observed to be related either due to host specialisation (Stylops mellitae) or geographic consequences (S.nassonowi, S.spreta). Interesting finding is also detection of population...

Title: Evaluation of health problems and the impact of compensation activities for the professional golf players Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to describe the most common health problems in golf and to further evaluate the questionnaire form of the most common health problems of the golf players in the major league and the first league of golf in the Czech Republic in connection to a frequent training, playing tournament rounds, and their compensation. Methods: The method of research and the method of written questioning is used in this thesis. Theoretical information was obtained mainly from the foreign sources and information for the evaluation was obtained by non-standardized questionnaires of the first league golf players and of the major golf league competition in the Czech Republic. Total of 115 players were approached, the data were processed by 75 players (65% return). Microsoft Excel software was used for the data analysis. Results: During the main golf season in 2015, 37 golf players had injury that prevented them from playing and training golf, this corresponds to 49% of the golf players. Evaluated data show, that the most common problem among the golf players, is the vulnerability and pain in the wrist tendons, 11 players were struggling with these problems. Another health...

Title: Case of Study of Physiotherapy Care of Patient after radial head replacement Objectives: The main objective of this Bachelor's thesis is to summarize the knowledge and studies related to the issue of elbow injuries, in particular radial head fracture, to summarize the comprehensive rehabilitation following this injury and to use this knowledge for preparing a case report on a patient with this injury. Methods: The general part of the thesis provides a summary of the anatomy, biomechanics, theoretical knowledge about elbow injuries and total elbow replacement. The special part of the thesis provides the case report of a female with radial head replacement, which was prepared in the Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu during the period from January 6, 2014 to January 31, 2014, under the supervision of the physiotherapist Mgr. Jakub Hoskovec. The thesis further includes the baseline and final kinesiological analysis, describes the individual therapeutic sessions, and evaluates the effects of therapy and the respective physiotherapy techniques. Results: The objectives set at the beginning of therapy have been successfully met. The treatment resulted in reduced swelling and pain in the right upper limb, especially in the elbow joint, increased range of motion of the right elbow and forearm,...
Food and host specialization in Aculeata (Hymenoptera)
Hochová, Veronika ; Policarová, Jana (advisor) ; Černá, Kateřina (referee)
Aculeata is a group of insects, its representatives vary significantly in the use of resources which are necessary for its survival and reproduction. Herbivores which live on parts of plants, carnivores which hunt other insects and omnivores are included in this group. There are also parasitic species such as cleptoparazites, brood parasites or parasitoids classified in Aculeata. Particular groups of Aculeata are adapted to resourcing, these adaptations exist in adult and immature stages simultaneously. Adaptation to the kind of source can lead to adjustment of mouthpart for easier prey hunting or nectar collecting, corbicula and special hair intended for collecting pollen or oils, a sting used for incapacitate the host or a sting for defense. Aculeata varies to such an extent how they are specialized in food and the host. Aculeata incorporates closely specialized species together with generalized species. The known information about the specialization Aculeata on food and host is summarized in this thesis.
Nesting behaviour and population genetics of solitary bees (Hymenoptera: Anthophila)
Černá, Kateřina ; Straka, Jakub (advisor) ; Žďárek, Jan (referee) ; Paxton, Robert J. (referee)
My thesis is focused on nesting behaviour and population genetics of solitary bees. These two topics, although seemingly unrelated, bring much new information and thus contribute to the better understanding of solitary bee biology that is still insufficiently known. Although the solitary behaviour represents the necessary original state for the evolution of higher sociality or obligate cleptoparasitism, its role is largely unappreciated. Furthermore, intraspecific cleptoparasitism, which is an alternative and facultative nesting strategy in bees, is a probable antecedent state of obligate cleptoparasitism. Although the obligate cleptoparasitism is a very common strategy in solitary bees, the information about the frequency and the occurrence of intraspecific cleptoparasitism in solitary bees is rare. We studied the nesting behaviour of solitary bees to detect different behavioural patterns that could serve as preadaptations to sociality or cleptoparasitic behaviour and we also focused on the detection and description of intraspecific cleptoparasitism in solitary bees. We chose four model solitary species for these studies - Andrena vaga (Andrenidae), Anthophora plumipes (Apidae), Colletes cunnicularius (Colletidae) and Osmia rufa (Megachilidae). We described the behaviour of Andrena vaga at the...
Sudden cardiac death in athletes in the Czech Republic and abroad

Title Sudden cardiac death in athletes in the Czech Republic and abroad Objectives The primary aim of the diploma thesis is to collect data about sudden cardiac death in athletes in the Czech Republic and abroad. The next aim is to create summary about health care concerning athletes in Czech sporting environment. The final step is to recommend some approaches and advices to prevent the sudden cardiac death in athletes. Methods The main method used diploma thesis is the analysis of documents, specifically the autopsy protocols providing professional information about sudden cardiac death in athletes in our country. Another method is questioning which allows to determine current state of athletic health in sports federations. The final method chosen for the diploma thesis is the interview which was arranged with football player Michal Meduna who survived a cardiac collapse during football match. Results The author of the thesis has found that the biggest problem of health care in athletes is the implementation and quality of sports health examination. In many cases the defect, bad hearth condition or congenital heart defect was found as late as autopsy was performed. The results are some recommendations, procedures and steps to improve health care and prevent sudden cardiac death. Keywords Sudden...
Intimacy and technology: Smartphone as a best friend?
Černá, Kateřina ; Kotík, Michal (advisor) ; Balon, Jan (referee)
This paper focuses on intimacy and technology in the context of the modern society. A relationship of these two aspects of society is introduced as mutually influencing, since intimacy structures technology and on the other hand technology has wider impact on intimacy. Because technology is narrowly connected with commerce, it allows commerce to access the intimate and highly personal relationships. Discussing relevant authors, a picture of contemporary relationships is drawn, being presented as contradictory and full of paradoxes, and consequently more difficult to deal with. Tendencies towards relationships, which are sustained by technology, are presented as ideal and in the text are posted as an opposite to the real ones. An analysis of intimacy dimensions demonstrates that the contradictions continue to exist in the modern relationships even though they are experienced through technology. Further on discussions are interconnected in the example of smartphone, which commerce presents as the best friend of the human. In the end the role of commerce is highlighted, since it introduces the relationships being sustained by technology as the natural ones, and by this activity an effort is made to gain better control in intimate relationships. Keywords intimacy, technology, commerce, smartphone,...
