Práce se zabývá populační genetikou vybraných druhů rodu Stylops v rámci Evropy. V rámci tohoto rodu bylo analyzováno pět druhů za použití dvou přístupů - analýzy mikrosatelitů u druhu Stylops ater a u všech druhů analýzy mitochondriální DNA za použití genu cytochrom oxidáza I. Pro analýzu mikrosatelitových markerů byla použita jednak bayesovská klastrovací analýza a analýza ABC (Aproximate Bayesian Analysis). Mitochondriální markery byly zpracovány formou haplotypových sítí a analýzy populační historie prostřednictvím Bayesian skyline plots. Byla zjištěna nečekaně nízká úroveň populační struktury u druhu Stylops ater s výrazně odlišnými populačními klastry na území Skandinávie a Pobaltí, které naznačují možnost období izolace těchto populací v minulosti, případně nedávnou expanzí a změnu frekvencí alel následkem malé velikosti populací. Dále byla podpořena hypotéza časové segregace populací v rámci druhu Stylops nevinsoni, a to na základě rozdílného období letové aktivity několika druhů jejho hostitelů. U ostatních druhů byla prokázána buď segregace na základě rozdílných hostitelů (S. mellitae), případně na základě geografického rozšíření (S.nassonowi, S.spreta) Zajímavým zjištěním je také detekce redukce velikosti populací v období před cca 8 000 až 2 000 lety, tedy v historicky velmi nedávné době. This thesis is focused to population genetics of selected species of genus Stylops in Europe. Within this genus, five species was analysed by usage of two approaches - microsatellite analysis in Stylops ater and analysis of mitochondrial DNA in all five species. Mitochondrial gene for cytochome c oxidase (1st subunit) was used. For microsatellite analysis was performed bayesian clustering analysis and ABC approach (Aproximate Bayesian Computation). Mitochondrial markers were processed by making haplotype networks and demography analysis by computing Bayesian skyline plots. For Stylops ater, surprisingly low lewel of population subdivision was detected, yet with clearly differentiated population clusters from Scandinavia and baltic coast of Europe, which may imply period of isolation of these populations or relativelly recent population expansion and genetic differentiation due to lower population sizes. Next, hypotesis of possible temporal segregation of subpopulations of Stylops nevinsoni based on different aktivity period of their host species groups, was supported. In other three species, population subdivision was observed to be related either due to host specialisation (Stylops mellitae) or geographic consequences (S.nassonowi, S.spreta).
