Koubková, Michaela ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Peřinová, Radka (referee)
Title: Validation of exercise that aims to increase physical fitness in high school students using beach volleyball exercises Aims: The main aim of this thesis is to verify through an experimental investigation whether deliberately selected beach volleyball exercises will lead to a change in the level of physical fitness in the experimental group and then to compare the measured data with a control group. Methods. In order to increase the level of physical fitness, exercises with beach volleyball content were chosen. The experiment consisted of an eight-minute intervention that was conducted over a 4-week period in high school physical education classes. It is a kind of working experiment in terms of methods. In order to verify and compare the effectiveness of exercise through beach volleyball training, it was necessary to create motor tests to determine any changes in physical fitness. These tests are as follows: 1. vertical jump achieved, 2. rapid changes of direction, 3. sprint for 20 m. Two schools were selected that implemented the same intervention, which differed in time. RESULTS: The results of the study indicate that the experiment itself suggests progression in some areas of physical fitness. In the 20m sprint, the hypothesis was confirmed in the case of experimental set 2, where there...

Thema works: Evaluation of the physical fitness of students 4th and 5th grade elementary school through disciplines of "Odznak všestrannosti" Student: Aneta Štěpánová Supervisor: Doc. PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D., MBA Aims: The primary aim of the thesis was to assess the level of physical fitness in 4th and 5th grade students of a selected primary school. For evaluation were used the 10 disciplines of the "Odznak všestrannosti". To determine a sufficient level of physical fitness, I have chosen the criterion of achieving a minimum of a bronze badge score in the "OV". The secondary aim was to compare the measured values between boys and girls. Methodology: Testing was conducted using a quantitative research method through the disciplines of the "Odznak všestrannosti" in physical education classes. In total, students were tested in 10 disciplines. The data obtained from the testing was recorded in tables, then statistically processed and evaluated by programme MS Excel. Results: Investigated file consisted of 46 boys and 59 girls. Of the total number of boys, 30 % were successful, with the category born in 2013 performing best in terms of number and value of badges earned. Only 9 % of boys performed above average in terms of achieving a better than bronze badge. A total of 28 % of students achieved below...

Abstracts: Author's name and surname: Amálie Vepřeková Title of the bachelor thesis: Stimulation of coordination with respect to ideomotor training Workplace: Department of Pedagogy, Psychology and Didactics Bachelor thesis supervisor: doc. PaedDr. Tomáš Perič, Ph.D., The year of submission: 2024 Thesis Objective: The aim of this thesis is to determine whether it is possible to combine ideomotor training and coordination stimulation in sports training. In terms of motor learning, we usually stimulate coordination in the first and second phases, while ideomotor training is usually used only in the third and fourth phases, when there is an opportunity to use abstract thinking. This paper will describe the phases of motor learning, the scope of motor learning, factors in motor learning, motor learning and brain function, the structure of coordination skills, principles for developing coordination, diagnosis of coordination skills, sensory periods for coordination development and ideomotor training, imagery, types of ideomotor training, and measurement of muscle activity in ideomotor training. in the results we will clarify under which conditions we can connect coordination and motor learning and ideomotor training with coordination. Methods: Based on keywords: motor learning, coordination skills, coordination...

Kořínek, Mikeš ; Kotlík, Kamil (advisor) ; Peřinová, Radka (referee)
Title: The effect of size of residence on adult's attitude towards physical activity and sport Objectives: The main aim for this thesis is to find out whether the size of the residence effects the attitude of adult population towards physical activities and sport. Methods: 957 of men and women from each region of Czech Republic aged 15-91 (mean age 41) filled a questionnaire SFSPA (Social function of sports and physical activities). Collected data were evaluated in a relationship with size of a residence of the respondents in these categories: less than 500, 501-2000, 2001- 5000, 5001-20000, 20001-50000, 50001-100000, 100000 and more inhabitants. Results: The results don't show any clear trend that could prove the fact that the bigger the size of the residence, the more positive or negative relationship there is of its inhabitants towards physical activity (PA). There is a constant difference though between the smallest size of the residence (small villages; less than 500 inhabitants) and the biggest size of the residence (big cities; 100000 and more inhabitants), where data from questions related to PA relationships are always more positive from probands of big cities then from small villages. Non-sportive activities (walking, dog walking, cleaning, gardening, family walks and mushroom picking)...
Sports as a pedagogical tool
Blažek, Daniel ; Peřinová, Radka (advisor) ; Crossan, William Morea (referee)
Title: Sport as a pedagogical tool Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to identify and describe, based on available literature and on interviews with coaches and educators, how sport can be used as a pedagogic tool in practice. Methods: The theoretical part contains an analysis of the literature on the pedagogic impact of sport. On the basis of this analysis, three organisations were selected (Ambassadors FC Praha, Scout, Sokol). These organizations were chosen because their goal is personal formation through sport; moreover I have personal experience with these organizations. For these organisations, an analysis of materials (websites, magazines, methodologies) was carried out in order to identify their values, goals, and pedagogic emphases. In addition, I assessed various psychological and pedagogic studies identifying thus the areas that are most easily influenced through sport. The practical part identifies, through semi-structured interviews with one coach from each selected organisation, what their pedagogic activities look like in practice. In these interviews I inquire about three thematic areas: the values and goals of the organization, the use of sport as a pedagogical tool, and the demands on coaches and their further formation and training. The respondents' statements are then...

Pták, Gabriel ; Peřinová, Radka (advisor) ; Kotlík, Kamil (referee)
Title: The use of formative assessment in physical education in primary schools in Písek Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to determine the current state of the use of formative assessment in the teaching of physical education at the second level of primary schools in Písek. To focus on whether the elements of formative assessment are applied in teaching and whether they are used purposefully. To find out whether and how the students's personality is being developed during physical education lessons. Methods: To achieve the objectives, a non-participant observation method and a non- standardized questionnaire was used and piloted. The observation method was used to capture the process of physical education classes with regard to the use of formative assessment elements. Subsequently, a questionnaire was presented to the teachers of the lessons in question and their responses were compared with the results of the observation. Results: It was found that formative assessment (assessment for learning) occurs to a very limited extent in physical education classes in the form of sub- elements of the formative approach. However, formative assessment as such is out of the question. The learning objectives are limited to the student's movement during the lesson without comprehensive development of the...

Gregar, Jan ; Peřinová, Radka (advisor) ; Kotlík, Kamil (referee)
Title: The Burnout Syndrome of Teachers Profession Objectives: The objectives of the thesis were to describe the rate of burnout of teachers at elementary schools, high schools, and gymnasiums. The aim of this work was also to compare burnout rate of different groups of teachers which are linked sociodemographic and professional characteristics and to describe teachers' opinions of the burnout syndrome. Methods: We used a questionnaire survey in the practical part of the thesis. 653 respondents participated. The questionnaire survey consisted of the MBI questionnaire and items created by the author of the thesis. The Survio internet platform was used for distribution. The snowball sampling, nonprobability sampling and sampling across institutions were employed to select respondents. The Excel and Statistica software were used to analyse the data. Results: We found a high degree of emotional exhaustion in 34 % of teachers, a high degree of depersonalization in 12 % of teachers and a low degree of personal accomplishment in 26 % of teachers. Although burnout syndrome is a relatively well-known phenomenon in the school environment, it is not given enough attention in terms of prevention. Burnout does not only affect older teachers or teachers who are higher experienced, but it affects especially...

Title: The importance of prolonged physical activity for the fitness level of younger school- age children (on the example of Olympic all-around). Objectives: The aim of this paper is to investigate, using the Olympic Diploma competition as an example, whether regular participation in the competition has an effect on higher fitness levels in younger school-age children. Methods: Descriptive statistics (arithmetic mean and standard deviation) and data analysis (ANOVA method) were used to determine the difference of long-term physical activity on fitness level and to compare these results between children. Results: The theoretical part defines human development, especially younger school age, and also the development of physical abilities. It also describes motor tests, the history of testing and research on motor fitness testing in the Czech Republic and worldwide. The results compiled in this thesis were provided by the organisers of the Sazka Olympic multi-sport event and only lower primary school children aged 6 - 11 years were assessed. The arithmetic mean and standard deviation were calculated and the difference of long-term physical activity for the fitness level of the children was also calculated using data analysis (ANOVA method). The study population comprised a total of 95,430 children...
