The Relationship Between Teacher and Pupil in Extracurricular Education

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the relationship between teacher and pupil in extracurricular education. This theme was chosen on the basis that extracurricular education, specifically the creation of the relationship between teacher and pupil in extracurricular education, not by me a lot of literature and it is still an area less discussed. The theoretical part of the thesis I have dealt with the interaction between teacher and pupil, which was the subject of my research. I compared the extracurricular and school education, I have focused on the personality of the teacher and the pupil, and the shaping of the relationship between teacher and pupil. The aim of theoretical part was to compare the school and extracurricular education, characterize the personality of the teacher and pupil and describe the process of forming a relationship between teacher and pupil in school education. The empirical part I made research, which I used qualitative method as a tool chosen semi-structured interview. Interview was directed to teachers who deal with extracurricular education. The aim of this thesis was to determine which factors influence the relationship between teacher and pupil. Problematic issues of home schooling

This work deals with the general issue of homeschooling, particularly the negative aspects that can bring this type of education. At first the theoretical part gives the definition of basic and advanced terms and subsequently the approach of the topic including legislative measures and implementation of homeschooling in the Czech Republic and also in other European and non-European countries. Consequently, analyzes the potential pitfalls of individualized education. The practical part is focused on the specific experience of people who are involved in the homeschooling. This part is processed through interviews with graduates of this form of education, their parents and through communication with the school. The aim of this work is to explain the issue, the motives that lead parents to choose this form of education and to critically analyse all the negatives associated with homeschooling.
The Choice of an Appropriate Subject of Study Through Practical Experience

This text concentrates on career decision making of high school students aspirating to university studies. The emphasis is on practical work experience as a specific aspect of career counselling. The goal of the thesis is to examine the role of a practical experience inthe scope of career decision making. The thesis first offers a theoretical grounding of the topic.The empirical part includes a detailed description of a project, the aim of which was to arrange for students an opportunity for a practical work experience within the field they are interested in studying. Education of Visually Impaired Children with Focus on Music Education

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the education of visually impaired children with focus on music education. The aim of this work is to chart methods currently applied the in education of visually impaired children with a focus on music education. The current methodies will be compared with the procedures that had been used in the education of visually impaired children in the past. The theoretical part is mainly aimed at education of the pupil/student with visual impairment, where it was drawn from the quoted literature and selected scholarly resources. In this section it is possible to find types of schools for the visually impaired, teaching methods, but also brief etiology of visual defects, and finally, possibilities of employment of visually impaired people in the music field. The second (empirical) part of this thesis deals with the processing of research through questionnaires and interviews. The research was carried out in schools which specialize in the education of visually impaired pupils and where teachers put emphasis on music education. Home preparation of pupils with specific learning disabilities

The thesis addresses the issue of students' home preparation at primary school. The thesis is focused on students with learning disabilities, so in the first chapter of the theoretical part these disabilities are analyzed, describing their etiology and education opportunities in the school education system of the Czech republic. Re-education, as one of the ways through which we can help to eliminate manifestations of specific learning disabilities, is also emphasised. The characteristics of a child of primary school, education maturation, the process of learning and cognitive processes are contained in the second chapter of the thesis. Home preparation, its functions, types and factors are comprised in the third chapter. This chapter also describes the necessity of cooperation between parents and the school. The empirical part provides the description of home preparation of pupils at primary school with specific learning disabilities. The end of the practical part shows us a collection of games, activities and experiences of our respondents, which are enriched with vertified activities, games and recommendations related to the pupils with specific learning disabilities. Pedagogical view on the upbringing of children by homosexual couples

This Master's Thesis approaches the phenomen of upbringing of children by lesbian and gay couples. It deals with primary school teachers' attitude to the question of homosexuality and homoparentality. In the theoretical part, the issues such as family, gender, gender role and identity are introduced. Thereafter the work is focused on the concept of gay and lesbian families, the legal aspects of homoparentality and the possible approach to parenting by the same-sex couples. The thesis also presents some of the realized researches into homoparentality. Part of these studies covers a potentional influence of upbringing by same- sex parents on child's development. Second part comprises the researches focused on parental experience of gays and lesbian women. The last chapter of theoretical part deals with the conception of homosexuality and education at schools. The aim of the practical part is to find out what the attitude of primary school teachers to homosexuality and homoparentality is really like, whether and how these topics are taught and how the attitude of teachers is reflected in teaching/lessons. THE ATTITUDES OF SOCIALLY EXLUDED FAMILIES TOWARDS EDUCATION Abstract This graduation thesis is concerned with the families living in the localities of social exclusion and with their attitudes towards education. The main purpose of this work is to study attitudes towards education and to design potential solutions to existing problems. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis describes the basic concepts related to the topic, deals with the problems concerning education of people with the social and cultural disadvantage and describes the characteristcs of the locality of social exlusion Náhlov. The practical part is divided into the research part which explores attitudes of Náhlov families towards education and the project part which describes an attempt to solve some of the existing problems.
Creative Expression of Preschool Age Children and its Meaning in Educational Process

This bachelor work called "Art expression of preschool child and its importance in educational process" focuses on use of child's art expression in educational work of teacher. It addresses phenomenon called child's art expression and its use in everyday educational process of children. It describes child's development in general with emphasis on ontogeny of child's drawing, catches specific characters of drawing and its importance in interpretation of art expression and in diagnostic use especially for teacher's work. This work focuses also on importance of drawing in school readiness assessment. The bachelor work has a theoretical character and aims to structure existing knowledge of child's art expression to show current teachers the way of better understanding child through his/her art expression. An Analysis of Children's Drawing as an Additional Tool for Assessing

This thesis deals with the options found in children's drawings symptoms that might help in uncovering school failure. The thesis consists of a theoretical and research part. The theoretical part is based on knowledge of the literature and the praxis. The first chapter describes the causes and symptoms of school failure. The second chapter deals with drawings and by drawing tests. There is described the methods and techniques used in my research in the third chapter. The research section contains the survey whose main objective was to confirm certain features of the drawing containing the failed student. The results of the survey were achieved through drawings, "Questionnaire of self - conception pupils' school success" by Z. Matějček and M. Vágnerová, analysis of average marks and interviews with teachers. The aim is to characterize the symptoms of failed student in the drawing.
