Selected Problems of Moral Education in the Contemporary Society

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the change of value orientation by society evolution since the Enlightenment to the postmodern situation. Next aim is the analysis of the actual state of moral education at school. At first, the thesis focuses attention on the causes of the changes of accents in value sphere, initiated in the Enlightenment and leading to postmodern situation. Furthermore, the thesis resumes the problem of personal moral development, describes the situation of moral education at school and tries to identify these methods of moral education which could be used in the moral education considering the contemporary situation in society and the trends in the value orientation of children and youth. In this context, the thesis also looks for the answer on question, which values are nowadays necessary to be educated. Adolescents with Mental Disabilities in Children's Homes and Children's Homes with School an thei Way to the Adulthood

Presented dissertation thesis deals with mentally disabled adolescents who are partially grown up in children's homes and in children's homes with school. The discussed topic is interdisciplinary and multi-layered. The aim of this thesis is to find out, describe and analyze what fulfils everyday life of adolescents with a mental disability and a marginal condition. The thesis also describes what these adolescents experience, what they encounter with, what they imagine in regards with their own future in the context of their life in children's homes. Multidisciplinary focus of the theoretical part of the thesis approaches adolescence as an evolutionary period in one's life and is based on work of Czech and foreign authors of evolutionary and social psychology. Adolescence is also considered as a period of potential risk connected with behavioural disorders which can cause child's placement in institutional education. The meaning of education is approached not only from the philosophical but also from the theoretical point of view. The thesis also covers the question of current possibilities of adolescents to complete their apprenticeship in a certain field of study. Heidegger's Concept of University

This thesis is focused on Heidegger's concept of university. Firstly is shown Heidegger's a difficult style of thinking. On this basis is described being of science, concept of university during his work as a president in Freiburg and in period after war. Thesis discuss the problem of being of technology and two ways of thinking which is closely connected with topic. Finally Heidegger's concept of university is shown in postmodern situation. Present and future problems related to university are elaborated as well.
Comparison of students' and teachers' views on the contribution of vocational education to future path of the graduates

The thesis is dealing with vocational education in Czech Republic. Particularly, it is focused on the comparison of students' and teachers' opinion on the contribution of vocational education to future path of the graduates. It has two parts - theory and research. Theoretical part begins with discussion about vocational and general education on the philosophical and empirical level. The specifics of Central Europe in this discussion are also mentioned. In the next part, system of vocational education in Czech Republic is presented, including its history and current issues. Theory is ended with providing statistics about changes in participation in education since 1989 and about the success of the graduates in the labour market in tertiary education. In practical part, interviews with students and teachers are conducted to find out their opinion about influence of upper secondary vocational education on the future success of the graduates.
Shaping a Child in Art Classes in a Small-Classes School

This thesis, in theoretical part, is focused on art education as part of the esthetic education. Than there are presented problems of Small-Class Schools in relation to art class on primary school and the artwork accompanying the development of the child as a character. In the practical part, there are presented the results of the research, which was carried out on the selected case study Small-Class School. In the final part, thesis summarizes the knowledge on the possibilities and peculiarities of art education as part of the education of the pupils at the primary school in the context of the specific condition of the Small-Class School. Media picture of the teacher in the Czech cinematography in the period after the year 2000

The thesis "Media Picture of a Teacher in the Czech Film in the Period Since 2000" is construed as one of a theoretical-empirical nature. Its theoretical part has set out two objectives. First, a process, through which media takes part in construing the reality and building up a discourse on the present teacher, is being described in such part. Another objective rests in a brief depiction of the current state of a teacher profession, and a description of the academic discourse, which is being presented by a pedagogical science with respect to a figure of the teacher. In addition, selected Czech films creating a media picture of the teacher that are subject to a critical discourse analysis in the empirically based part of the thesis are presented in the theoretical part thereof. Individual types of discourse, which these films propose with respect to a teacher, are being commented on at the conclusion of such thesis. This thesis is devoted to the topic of palliative care in nursing, particularly for the elderly. The theoretical part deals with basic issues of palliative care for the elderly, defines palliative care and its organizational forms,dealing with the basic principles of palliative care topics of gerontologic care. The attention is paid to the competencies of the nursing team to perform palliative care for geriatric patients as well. The research deals with finding out the level of workers' skills in the field of palliative care, and then it defines the forms ofhealthcare professionals aid in how to approach the matter of dying, and how to cope with the cause of clients death.
Teacher, collegiality and collaboration

The thesis is focused on collaboration, cooperativeness, and mutual communication of teachers that represents one of the key pillars of the successful process of education. The cooperation of teachers is very important in the new conception of the school education program as well as in fulfilling cross-sectional topics and interdisciplinary relationships. The theoretical part describes basic terms, teacher's personality, his (her) roles and profession competencies, authorities and reputation of the teacher. The theoretical part also features information regarding collaboration of teachers in general, typical forms of the collaboration, deals with the role of school in teachers' collaboration. The aim of the empirical part is to map a topic of collaboration and cooperativeness among high school teachers. An additional aim is to analyze whether the cooperativeness and collaboration represents a benefit for high school teachers, and, eventually what might hinder such collaboration. (in English): This thesis deals with the current status of the teacher in the student's life in today's society. The theoretical part presents to the reader the basic issues concerning the two major subjects of education, teacher and pupil. The main goal of the practical part is to find out with the help of a questionnaire whether and to what extent is to identify the student with the teacher and with various forms of teachers' role in the student's life.
Methods and principles of self-reflection and personal development

(in English): The thesis deals with the topic of perception of one's own body and it's connection to selfreflection - especially sensation of one's own personality, in the context of school education. The thesis is an overview study, introducing the so-called education of embodiment. In the second part, the thesis describes main principles of embodied learning and their importance for self-reflection. The thesis utilizes the method of art based research, which confirms the importance of embodied learning for personal development and describes principles, methods and approaches, that allow to implement embodied learning. The thesis is a contribution to the real educational practice in the topic of personal development as a cross- curricular theme personal and social development.
