Transformation of Medical Education in the Czech Republic

This graduation thesis is concerned with the question of change in the area of medical education in the Czech Republic. The main emphasis is on analyzing the system of lifelong study for general nurses, in both its current form and the one that is in preparation now. This research presents a summary of the findings on the educational system for nurses. The current methods were set by the Act 96/2004 Coll. law and subsequent changes and amendments thereof. A new law on non-medical professions has been prepared. Both of these documents are essential for the practical as well as theoretical part of the analysis. In the practical part empirical research was carried out in which the author sounds out the views of selected groups of respondents belonging to non-medical professions on the current and future form of the medical education for non-medical professionals.
The Education of Athletically Gifted Students

My thesis focuses on the subject of 'education of athletically talented students' on a theoretical and empirical level. The theoretical part describes 'talent' on a general basis followed by a specific description of a 'sporting talent'. It considers the conditions of education of talented students without a particular focus and subsequently discusses the subject of school education of athletically talented students. It introduces the specific aspects of an athlete as a pupil, the factors that influence his/her educational path and the problem of 'dual career'. It also characterizes the conditions of education of athletes in Europe and the system of education in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is the resource for conducting the empirical part, where the results show how athletes themselves describe and evaluate the conditions of school education. The reaserch of investigated topic whilst using thorough interviews concludes the way athletes perceive this issue.
The teaching of foreign languages and the process of preparation of teachers of foreign languages in the period 1990-2012

This work focuses on changes in teaching foreign languages and on new requirements for education and training of foreign language teachers after 1989, including a brief survey of the history of foreign language teaching and the development of teacher training. It observes changes in the area of learning objectives, changes in the teacher - pupil relationship, changes in work methods. It deals with a new approach to the selection and use of teaching materials and the inclusion of new technologies in teaching. It discusses the implementation of both the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the European Language Portfolio. The work presents in the form of interviews also personal experience with teaching foreign languages and possible ways to achieve the required qualification.
Computer and Internet in the School Learning Process (Focusing on the use of Characters of Creative Possibilities Progress)

in English Bachelor thesis examines the role of modern information technology, especially computers and the internet, in the process of school learning. It defines the basic concepts and tries to capture how the role of computers in the classroom changed during the last years . Bachelor thesis sets out to address the issue of computers and the Internet in education from two perspectives: a) focus and attention on the basic problems and potential risks in the use of computers and the Internet in the process of school learning. b) the possibility of usage of computers and the Internet with regard to the principles of Creative Possibilities Progress learning, and identification of effective methods and strategies and their involvement in the learning process. The introductory chapter briefly summarizes the history of computers from the early predecessors to the latest trends in information technology, presents some of the first famous global and domestic computers and the conclusion summarizes some basic concepts. The second chapter presents a computer in the school environment, shows examples of the intersection of computers and the Internet in various areas of education and outlines the different attitudes towards the usage of computers and the Internet. The Teacher of Practical Training

(in English): This work focus on the topic of the educational staff in Vocational education schools with vocational training field. This type of secondary schools prepare pupils mainly for handicraft and this process should be led by qualified teachers. The Act of Educational staff from 2005 describes teachers at schools facilities, sets the qualification prerequisities for their activities, their in-service training and partially career system. The training of teachers of practical education and teachers of practical trainig may consist of 4 years of study at a secondary school, followed 3 years of study tertiary profesional education or 3 to 5 years at a university. Pedagogical training follows these studies, for graduates from non-pedagogical fields of studies usually represents a futher 3 years of bachelorś studies or 2 years of studies on a life-long learning study programme at the university. Teachers of practical education and teachers practical training get their vocational qualification at universities, tertiary schools and secondary schools in the field of study which correspond to the nature of the practical education. The Gradebook and its Change over Time

8 Abstract This thesis is focused on a characteristic of a gradebook. The purpose is to find out when it was imposed to schools in the Czech republic, whether it is legislatively provided, what kind of structure does it have, how is it used and what new trends are there. The benefit of this thesis is compacted view on a gradebook which consist of the characteristic of the first gradebooks from 50's which were used in the Czech republic and for comparison there is also a characteristic of a gradebook on 2014/2015. Next, there is a chapter about evaluation in the gradebook. The thesis contains a summary of questionnaires to understand the opinios of children, teachers and parents in gradebooks. Climate in the classroom

Master's thesis "the climate of the school class" is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. Theoretical part deals with subject matter definition of school climate and subsequent analysis and characteristics of related areas. This is mainly an analysis of social class and school climate, mapping factors that contribute to the climate change. Conduction of the mechanisms involved in the formation of school climate closer to analysing in particular iterms of the actors, teachers and pupils. Furthermore, in this part of the work I explore the definition and description of approaches for investigating social climate with a brief analysis of the specific diagnostic methods. Part of the work is also a framework defining the results of current research activities of domestic and foreign research in the above mentioned area. Empirical part focuses on diagnosis of classrooms'climate at selected high schools in the region. Research is focused on mapping the climate changes with an emphasis on quantitative study through selected diagnostical methods. Parents as co-attendants to inclusive education

The thesis deals with inclusive education, specifically parents as co-actors to inclusive education. The goal of the thesis is to determine what role parents occupy in cooperation with a school with inclusive concept of education, what are their views on inclusion, and thus contribute to the current topic of inclusive education. The theoretical part focuses on the current changes in the field of inclusive education, social heterogeneity in inclusive school, educational approaches and needs in inclusive education and on teachers and parents as actors for inclusive education. The practical part contains case studies on three selected schools with inclusive education in Prague. Part of these case studies is interviews with teachers and parents on the involvement of parents in inclusive education.
Pupils' homework

This thesis engages in the theme of pupil's home preparation for basic school. Finding the pupils', parents' and teachers' attitudes to homework is the purpose of this thesis. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on relationship between the family and the school, especially parents' involvement in this problem. Hereafter we occupy with home preparation as organize form of teaching. We describe types and forms of homework. The empirical part we address the attitudes of pupils, attitudes of parents and attitudes of children to homework. The main research questions are importance, types, forms, individualization, reviews, failure of homework. Further we are interested in these attitudes on the first and second grade at the basic school. The research is qualitative-quantitative composed. We pursue to the theme from the point of parents and pupils in qualitative part, the teachers in quantitative part. For this research we used questionnaire and semi-structured interview. It is the form of mixed design.
