Analysis of conceptual framework of educational management in peer-reviewed pedagogical journals in 2000-2017

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the conceptual framework of education management in peer-reviewed journals. The theoretical part is focused on the summary of the existing knowledge about all contexts related to the field of education management from the point of view of the time perspective. It draws on both foreign and domestic sources. Attention will also be paid to the current issue of terminologically uninterrupted important educological terms related to the management of education. Further chapters will focus on educational theories, leadership perspectives in education, lifelong learning, adult education and senior education. The research part is focused on the content analysis of the Czech peer- reviewed pedagogical journals Pedagogika, Pedagogická orientace and Studia paedagogica. Its aim is to analyze how the conceptual framework of education management in the years 2000-2017 developed in them. Based on the analysis, answers will be sought on the areas of management of education and the subject to which the most attention is paid, which topics are most frequently addressed in relation to adult education and senior citizens, how the frequency of these topics has evolved, and whether there are some common patterns among the magazines analyzed. The development of higher education in the Czech and the Slovak Republic

This thesis is focused on the development of private higher education systems in the Czech and the Slovak Republic. By the study of literature, legislation and by processing public and non-public statistical data, this thesis analyses the development of the private higher education system in the Czech and the Slovak Republic including their comparison and summarizes current terms that private universities must meet. Furthermore, this thesis is focused on processing the gathered statistical data of the number of private universities, their students and graduates. An integral part of the thesis is also the analysis of the study programs which are taught at private universities. The method of processing the statistical data is mainly the quantitative analysis of the data provided by the statistical offices in the Czech and Slovak Republic and by the ministries of education in both countries. The trend analysis was used for the outputs which display tendencies of phenomena in a specific period of time and comparative analysis comparing established indicators.
School Board and its participation in School Management

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of setting up school councils in elementary schools. Respondents of empirical research were directors of complete primary schools in the Hradec Králové Region. In particular, the results of the survey can be used to find possibilities for cooperation between the principal and the school council, so that its activities can help to the overall development of the educational process in the given school. As a basis for reflection, it can serve all stakeholders, i.e. school management, pedagogical staff, founders, and last but not least parents. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to find out to what extent and in what areas the school council influences the management of the principal. The partial aim was to specify the problematic areas of the relationship from the point of view of the principal and to suggest how to mitigate or eliminate their effects. The aim of the thesis is to analyse and compare existing National Councils of Education in countries from Europe Union and OECD. The thesis also summarises knowledge about discuss and realization Councils in the Czech republic. It shows history of Administration and Management of Education in the Czech republic from early years after war to present with a focus on changes which happened after the Velvet Revolution in november 1989. Output of the thesis is a concept of possible National Council of Education in the Czech Republic which is based on performed analysis.
Development and education of teachers in the pre-primary education system

The diploma thesis devoted to "Development and education of teachers of pre-primary education system" examines the needs of pedagogical education and other possibilities of education of pedagogical staff of pre-primary education. The thesis deals with the development of professional and competence skills that are applicable in the pre-primary education system. The thesis deals with the legislative requirements for the education of future teachers, which is adequate for full use. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the system of the pre-primary education required by the system of education and to compare it with the requirements of the real needs of the pre-primary education activities of the educator in order to prepare for education with the help of their competence skills. Asked research questions are whether the theoretical and practical knowledge gained by the required study is sufficient according to the teachers' views for the performance of a novice pre-primary educator, whether pre-primary educators are trying to engage in further education and what types of courses are used by pre-primary teachers. Starting teacher at Nursery school and his options of professional develoment in the context of further teacher's eduction

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the novice teacher and the possibilities of his / her professional growth in further education. The aim of the thesis is to reveal the deficiencies in the approach of novice nursery teachers to further education. The theoretical part defines the requirements for teachers in terms of legal legislation and system documents. It focuses on professional competencies and standards and describes career development and adaptation period. Within the practical part, quantitative research was carried out through a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was sent to the directors of kindergartens in the Chrudim Region and found out the necessary competencies of starting teachers, possible problems associated with their work and the requirements of nursery school directors for further education of novice teachers. The research was supplemented by qualitative data obtained through a semi-structured interview with the head of the National Institute of the professional growth. Research has led to the finding that there is no current training offer for novice teachers, even though they would be interested in these courses within the district. Comparative analysis of pre-primary education in the selected EU countries Magda Navrátilová The aim of this thesis is to identify differences between the legal rules governing pre-primary education (ISCED classification - 0) in selected European countries - England, France and Austria with legal rules governing pre-primary education in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the aim of this thesis is to propose amendments to law based on the comparison. The thesis is composed of four parts. First part is introductory. Basics are explained there as well as used methodology. Second part is devoted to pre-primary education in selected European countries.
