The personality of Emil Hácha in the Second Czechoslovak Republic (1938-1939)

This bachelor thesis is focused on Emil Hácha during the period of the so called Second Republic, that existed between October 1938 and March 1939, while he was the President of Czechoslovakia. The goal of this bachelor thesis is not only to describe the steps he took in the time of constant threat by the neighbouring Third Reich, but also to capture the mood and atmosphere enveloping the country on the eve of the Second World War.

The aim of the thesis was to have informations about a contemporary system of foster care of children, who can't live in their biological families, and find defects of the contemporary and a upcoming system. The theoretical part of the thesis was focused on a biological and foster families, the history of the institutional care and it's also about all the kinds of the foster care. The thesis gave a list of child care options, but also a historical evolution of the care and the failings of the contemporary system. There are a lot of the failings, very important is a financial deficiency, an inflexibility of the system, no good care of a biological family and a deficiency of foster parents.
Social Worker´s Role in a Comprehensive Care for Autistic People

The bachelor´s thesis deals with the role of a social worker in a complex care of autistic people. The main goal of the thesis is to describe some methods, techniques and attitudes used in a context of social work and the role of a social worker. The intermediate objective is to map some worker´s experience concerning the complex care of autistic people. The role of a social worker within the framework of a multidisciplinary team, some methods, techniques and attitudes used in a complex care of autistic people have been found via the research questions. The bachelor´s thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. There are defined some basic terms: autism, social worker, social work and a multidisciplinary team in the theoretical part. Autism and its diagnostics is more specified for better understanding. That gives us opportunity to familiarise with the contributory organisation Domov Kopretina Černovice where the research strategy is placed. There are also introduced and described some techniques and methods used in a complex care of autistic people in the theoretical part. The practical part consists of a research using a qualitative research strategy, methods of questioning and semi-structured interview techniques. The research group consists of ten communicative partners who belong to the multidisciplinary team taking care of the autistic children in the contributory organisation Domov Kopretina, Černovice. Within the framework of the research we´ll learn about an educational programme in a special primary school and practical school applying in Domov Kopretina, Černovice. The research has shown that the job description of a social worker consists of social agenda tackling in Domov Kopretina, Černovice. Also the other members of the multidisciplinary team see the role of a social worker in the administrative sphere instead of immediate social care of autistic people. The social worker is also regarded as an important member of the team because he/she has the earliest opportunity to get in touch with the client and consequential coordinated rehabilitation that means the acceptance the client to join the organisation. Clinical aspects of the squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity and lip Introduction: The incidence of head and neck cancer in Czech Republic is rising. Despite the recent advances in treatment, no significant drop in fatality of the disease has been noted in the last decades. The aim of the study was to describe relevant clinical and demographic characteristics and their impact on survival of a case series with oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Material and methods: Two-hundred patients with OSCC diagnosed and treated at the Department of Dentistry, Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Medicine and Teaching Hospital in Hradec Králové, were included in this retrospective descriptive study. Information about sex, age, risk factors, site of the tumour, histologic findings, stage of disease, primary treatment method and cause of death were analyzed. The Kaplan-Meier method and Cox regression were used for survival analysis. Results: The median of follow up was 28 months (range 1-242 months). The male to female ratio was 2.1:1. This bachelor thesis provides information on composition and properties of sheep's milk and deals with impacts affecting its composition and properties. Individual components and selected properties of sheep's milk are compared with those of cow's milk. The thesis also focuses on nutritional aspects of sheep's milk and its products. In the final part of the thesis I describe the most popular products from sheep's milk, including mostly cheese, for the production of which is the sheep's milk the most suitable option, and I describe other products characterized by high nutritional value and positive effect on human organism.
Specifics of Marketing Communication Targeted on Seniors and Unfair Practices Against Them

This master thesis "Specifics of Marketing Communication Targeted on Seniors and Unfair Practices Against Them" aims to familiarize the reader with the ways and coercive methods by which traders force seniors to buy overpriced goods or services during the selling events or doorstep sales. Another aim is to identify the reasons that lead elderly to attend sales events, or use the services of door-to-door seller. Next, I will try to make recommendations to public authorities and elderly how to prevent unfair trade practices. The thesis also deals with legal regulations, the demographic situation and development, and manipulation.
Evaluation of muscle in a selected breeding

The aim of bachelor work was to evaluate the length of fattening, average daily gain, consumption of compound feed per 1 kilogram of gain, slaughter weight, lean meat content, classification of carcasses and the influence of slaughter weight on lean meat content in selected company and in runs of fattening. During the two and a half year long period were analysed 2457 pieces of pig carcasses. The most pigs were slaughtered in the weight interval of 8089.9 kilos (44 per cent) where the lean meat content was 54.5 per cent and in the weight interval of 9099.9 kilos where the lean meat content was 53.6 per cent. The lean meat content decreased with increasing slaughter weight.
