The Impact of New Media on Sex Dating

This thesis is about what it feels like to connect, or fail, during digital or face-to-face interaction. This study aims to investigate one of the types of social interaction - sex dating and examines the role and impact of location-based dating applications in current form. The practical part is based on qualitative research method in form of in-depth interview with 18 active users. O pojmu reputation management bylo dlouhou dobu slyšet převážně v oblasti marketingu ve spojení s budováním brandu. S rozvojem sociálních médií se na trhu objevily nástroje měřící osobní reputaci, jež kvantifikují uživatelovu interaktivitu na základě několika proměnných. Ty našly své uplatnění v rukou nepočetných social media profesionálů a geeků. Jak ale k řízení osobní reputace v sociálních sítích přistupují běžní uživatelé? Jak hodnotí reputaci členů svých sociálních sítí a jak se tyto poznatky odráží na jejich vlastním projevu? Tato práce se snaží nalézt cestu k zodpovězení těchto a dalších otázek. Principy kvalitativního přístupu se obrací k samotnému jádru tohoto procesu - tvůrcům a hodnotitelům osobní reputace a sociálním interakcím, jimiž se uskutečňuje. Development of computer games as a medium and its reflection in specialized and mainstream media

This dissertation aims to be a social history of 8-bit computer gaming culture in Czechoslovakia. It focuses mostly on the 1982-1989 period, i.e. from the beginnings of organized computer hobby scene until the end of the so-called "normalization" era. It draws from archival texts, mainly computer club newsletters, and oral history interviews. The resulting corpus is used both to reconstruct the social context surrounding computer game play at the time, and to identify social practices, norms and values connected with computer game playing. Theoretically, the dissertation draws from the social history of media, audience research in the vein of the British cultural studies, and game studies. The dissertation claims that in the earliest days of Czechoslovak computer hobby, the hobbyists were a prime example of active audience. As there was virtually no hardware and software market behind the Iron Curtain, hobbyists had to improvise ways of importing hardware and distributing software, often forming computer clubs to facilitate this. Glitch and its social aspects in video game culture

Glitch is becoming an important topic both in popular culture and academia. In 2012, Disney cast a glitch as a major character in its movie homage to arcade video games Wreck-It Ralph. More and more studies about glitch are emerging across various disciplines, from media studies to aesthetics. So far, researchers were focusing mostly on theoretical and technological aspects of the glitch. This Master's thesis aims to analyze the "everyday" glitch and the roles it plays in the video game culture, conducting a qualitative content analysis of online discussion forums of three recent hit video games: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 and Star Wars: The Old Republic. The first part of the thesis reviews the literature connected to the glitch and explains its connection to similar scientific concepts: error, noise and emergence. It also introduces different aspects and roles of the glitch, ranging from cheating and metagaming to humor and aberrant use. This thesis focuses on the design of the hexacopter construction for photographic purposes with maximum load of 4 kg. When constructing a hexacopter it is necessary to take into account a number of factors. For the actual construction the correct dimensioning of the supporting frame is important as well as the locomotor system. The main concept of this thesis includes three-axis gimbal for camera control. The verification of the structure strength was performed using FEM analysis. This work describes also the selection of individual components and their wiring. The end is dedicated to safety and different procedures for reducing operation risks.
Design of a workplace for polystyrene objects cutting by industrial robot

This Bachelor thesis mainly focuses on the construction of the effector for cutting complex shapes made of polystyrene by an industrial robot. This thesis describes various methods of cutting polystyrene, the choice of the right type of robot, construction of the effector with the possibility of tensing the wire, workplace suggestion, as well as the results of accuracy and precision measurements of the constructed effector.

This thesis deals with the common property of spouses in case of business activities of one of the spouses. First chapter defines marriage and other related issues. Second chapter is the analysis of legal regulations of property relations between spouses since the days of Rome up to the present day, which influenced up-to-date legal regulations. Third chapter deals with the forms of ownership in marriage. Last chapter is about the most important issue of the thesis - common property of spouses and business activities. This chapter deals especially with the object of common property of spouses and with the possibilities of its modification.
