Interactive narrativity
Lukešová, Anna ; Bílek, Petr (advisor) ; Kubíček, Tomáš (referee)
The thesis deals with the phenomenon of interactive narrativity, especially in codex-type texts. The aim of the thesis is to highlight the difficulties the current narratology has in coping with this kind of texts and to present an alternative approach to texts newly created mainly due to the development of modern technologies, the concept of cybertext postulated by Finnish theorist Espen Aarseth. Significant attention is focussed on the structural properties of this type of texts, which are the requirement of the feasibility of interactivity. The thesis is an attempt to assess generally both approaches and their advantages and disadvantages. The second part is devoted to an analysis of codex-type interactive texts. The aim of the list of selected literary works with an experimental structure is to demonstrate that interactive texts (or cybertexts) are based on the principles of traditional printed literature and are only an organic continuation of the experimental literature in another medium. A more detailed analysis of selected interactive texts aims to demonstrate the thesis of structural characteristics of interactive texts.

The aim of this work is to present a comprehensive overview of the development of migration policies of Poland and also to point out the approach of Poland in this context, including shortcomings and possible solutions. The main thematic form includes elemental theoretical concepts such as migration, immigration, integration, and these are further developed in the context of specific legislative changes that Poland has made since 1989 in the field of migration policies. At the same time, the main reasons leading to these changes are presented, which can be divided into two parts in the structure of the thesis, namely the reasons for legislative changes and changes in approach in the context of Poland's democratization after 1989 and secondly. motivation for further legislative changes associated with the accession of Poland to the European Union in 2004. The empirical part of the thesis interprets the conclusions obtained by research and detailed analysis in the theoretical part in the form of a discussion on migration issues in Poland.
Changing the approach towards citizenship in the United Kingdom due to migration
Kycltová, Barbora ; Lukešová, Anna (advisor) ; Bauer, Paul (referee)
This bachelor's thesis is a one-case study of the approach to citizenship in the UK and the way it has been transformed by naturalization policies and migration. The issue of citizenship became the subject of many academic debates at the turn of the millennium due to the large influx of migrants and racial unrest in the country, and the subsequent introduction of citizenship tests was met with considerable controversy. The aim of this work is to map the much-discussed issue of naturalization in the UK and based on an analysis of the content of preparatory materials for the citizenship test, provide a very unique and comprehensive picture of how the approach to citizenship has changed over the years. The method of qualitative document analysis is used for the processing of publications for civic tests, and the manuals are examined by applying a predefined typology of citizenship and integration approaches in the theoretical part. The thesis assumes that due to concerns about the lack of integration of immigrant communities and the consequent tightening of measures to obtain citizenship status, there has been a change from a liberal and multicultural approach to more restrictive forms of approach to the concept of citizenship. Based on the established analysis of the work, it is concluded that the...

Novotná, Adéla Anna ; Lukešová, Anna (advisor) ; Matějka, Ondřej (referee)
The bachelors thesis Impact of the "Civic Integration Abroad" Act on Dutch Immigration is dedicated to the Netherlands and its integration laws. The Netherlands has gone through a big change since the year 1998 and it has completely revised its approach to immigration and integration of incomers. It has stopped adhering to the multicultural approach and has gone in an entirely new direction, which supports a civic integration. This work is particularly focused on the law of Civic Integration Abroad, which was introduced in 2006 as a new measure for the integration of immigrants. The main essence of the law is to meet certain conditions and a successful passing of an integration test before arrival to the Netherlands. This law was the first of its kind in Europe and it was intended to restrict the immigration of certain groups of newcomers. For this reason, as an integration law, it also intervenes in Dutch immigration. The first part of the work is dedicated to the immigration to the Netherlands, to Dutch approach to immigrants and to the development of new integration policies until year 2006. The second part deals directly with the act on Civic Integration Abroad and its development. The main part of the work is research, which is based on statistics and its aim is to determine how and to what...
Democratic Spain's fight against gender-baseddiscrimination
Bílková, Kateřina ; Menclová, Barbora (advisor) ; Lukešová, Anna (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with gender policies adopted in Spain by individual governments in years 1982 - 2018. It analyzes election programs, legislative changes, the emergence of specialized institutions and in some cases the response of Spanish society to these measures. The aim of this work is to record the changes that have occurred in gender policy in Spain after the country's transition to democracy, and especially after the Socialist Party took over the government in 1982 and to find out whether the attitudes of the two main Spanish political parties on this issue differ. The work is divided into four main parts according to individual government periods. These four chapters examine whether the attitude of individual Spanish governments to the issue of women's rights has changed and what each government has emphasized. At the same time, it examines where, on the contrary, it has remained only with populist pre-election promises without the real fulfillment of the set goals. Last but not least, the work also evaluates other societal events and factors which, together with the policies of individual governments, have influenced the position of women in Spanish society on the path to achieving gender equality.
