Research of the influence of a new method for ball-attach process on BGA packages on intermetallic layers
Gregor, Adam ; Jankovský, Jaroslav (referee) ; Otáhal, Alexandr (advisor)
This work deals with exploring a new method of ball-attach process on BGA packages using a directly heated stencil. The existing procedures of making solder bumps were compared with possible benefits of using this new method. The methodology was established to create samples using a new reflow method and its effect on the formation and strength of intermetallic layers of solder bumps, due to the set height of the heated template, which was designed for reflow of BGA terminals. In addition to the design of the methodology, shear tests and metallographic sections of the samples were also performed. The thickness of the intermetallic layer and its roughness were examined. An evaluation of the results was performed on the basis of which a new method of reflow soldering of solder balls on BGA packages was optimized.
Hydraulic analysis of the Bečva river
Gřegoř, Adam ; Smelík, Lukáš (referee) ; Duchan, David (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is a comparison between two river hydraulics modeling approaches, the first one being combined 1D and 2D modeling, and the second one being solely 2D modeling. Both models are located at Bečva river, between its 17,282 and 28,419 river kilometer. The outputs of the simulations are water flow velocity maps, water depth maps, maps that show differences between flood areas calculated in both models, tables comparing channel water surface elevations and schematic long sections. In conclusion of the thesis, the outputs of the simulations are compared.
Room Impulse Response Estimation from Speech Signal
River regulation and design of flood protection
Gřegoř, Adam ; Julínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Duchan, David (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with designing flood protection on the watercourse Velička (tributary of the river Bečva), which is situated in the area of Hranice municipality. The flow modelling was done as 1D surface water HEC-RAS model. Two options of flood protection were designed based on the size of the flood areas that occured during flood flows Q5, Q20 and Q100. The first option did not consider the usage of Lhotka dry pond. The second option considered the usage of Lhotka dry pond, which was designed in the study made by AgPOL s.r.o. firm to the north of Hranice and which transforms flood flows. The result of the bachelor’s thesis are maps of flood areas that occured during the flood flows Q5, Q20 and Q100 after the implementation of flood protection options. In conclusion, the suitability of the flood protection options is evaluated.
Lease of the business premises
Gregor, Adam ; Elischer, David (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jan (referee)
The subject of this master thesis is analysis and assessment of effective legal regulation of the lease of business premises under Act. No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended. Author's discourse is ordered into nine chapters in which related legal institutes are gathered. In the first chapter the author defines aims of this master thesis and rationalizes the necessity of special legal regulation of the lease of business premises. The second chapter of this master thesis contains a general discourse about lease in which the author outlines the system of the legal regulation and then defines the lease with its four defining elements which are the subject of the lease, relinquishment of the subject of the lease to the tenant for use, temporary character of the lease and the fact that the landlord relinquish the subject of the lease to the tenant for use against payment of the rent. The third chapter is dedicated to interpretation of the term "business premises (in Czech "prostory sloužící k podnikání") which has been incorporated to the Czech law by the recent re-codification of the substantive civil law. With respect to the abovementioned term the author describes the conceptual change of special legal regulation in which the legislator has abandoned the old term non-residential premises (in...
Administrative discretion
Gregor, Adam ; Kopecký, Martin (advisor) ; Staša, Josef (referee)
Resumé The submitted work, that I named "Administrative discretion", deals with general administrative law's phenomenon of the same name. Administrative discretion or discretionary power (administrative consideration) accompanied public administration throughout its history. Today, it is something absolutely necessary, without which public administration would be paralysed. The reason for this statement is the complexity of social relations, that, because of their infinite variability, can never be anticipated by precise detailed legal regulation. After short introduction I remind the reader of two conceptions of public administration, when the emphasis is put on the material sense, because discretionary power always has to be integral to authority. The second chapter indroduces the nature of administrative discretion. The chosen method is based on short characterization followed by distinguishing from other "forms of freedom" that we can come across within public administration. The following chapter concentrates on the issue of space a explains how the legislator delineates this space within which discretionary power can be used, which relates to the question of freedom and "limitedness". In the fourth (and largest) chapter I minutely describe criterions (standards, factors), that administrative body must...
A comparison of legal aspects of eugenics programs in the USA and Nazi Germany
Gregor, Adam ; Seltenreich, Radim (advisor) ; Horák, Záboj (referee)
Resumé This thesis titled ,,Comparison of legal aspects of eugenics programs of USA and nazi Germany" elaborates an interesting area of legal history, which describes and compares state eugenics policies of the United States in the 1st half of the 20th century and similarly motivated population policy of nazi Germany. The main sources of this legislation are thoughts associated with struggle against genetic degeneration of population gene pool, which takes place because of reproduction of physically and mentally ,,defective", who pass these indispositions on next generations, and, according to laws of heredity, weaken the human race. In the thesis I distinguish original Galtonʻs and Ploetzʻs eugenics and so called racist eugenics, whose motive is protection and purification of specific social group. The thesis is divided into five chapters, which are further divided into sub-chapters and other additional parts. The emphasis is put on the second, the third and the fourth chapter, whereas the first and the fifths are included in the work, because I considered it a good idea to complete the story of eugenics throughout the history till present. The first chapter contains brief narration about presence od eugenics in societies from pre - state structures till the end of the 19th century, when the first eugenics...
