Analysis of the readiness of acceptance and strategy of entry of the Czech Republic to the euro area

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate readiness of the Czech Republic to adopt the common European currency, the Euro. I will concentrate on the economic situation of the Czech Republic especially on the nominal values and the real convergence that are the main indicators of the accession to the euro zone. In the theoretical part of my bachelor thesis I will analyze particular attitudes and the phases of the economic and political integration with the concentration on the nominal and real convergence kriteria. Practical part is focused on the current strategy of the accession of the Czech Republic to the euro zone, analysis of the fulfilling of Maastricht convergence criteria by the Czech Republic and on the level of the harmonization between the Czech Republic and the euro zone by the comparison of the real parameters. In the end of the bachelor thesis, there is an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the access to the euro zone. I will tempt to propose the reference year which will be adequate for the adoption of the euro in the Czech Republic.

This treatise deals with cars in business. Cars and taxes are inseparable part of life of almost everybody. From my point of view the car in the system of taxation in the Czech Republic is the area, which is the most complicated field at all. On the other hand it is the most used method for tax optimisation. For these reasons I focused my work on problems of cars and taxes, especially income taxes. In the first section of this dissertation some important expressions are explained -- for example I could mention: owner, possessor, lessor, leaseholder, road motor vehicle, segmentation and classification of vehicles etc. This part also includes legislative resources concerning the vehicles. There are explained possibilities of tax optimisation as well -- e.g. problems of depreciations, timing of selling the car and inclusion of the car into the business property. To conclude, I would like to point out the methods presenting financial data and car depreciations from accounting view.

Credit crisis in USA and analysis of state regulations

In my bachelor thesis I am going to deal with current problem - credit crisis in United States of America. I will analyse state regulation of government and American central bank Federal Reserve System during the crisis. I will try to find appraisal of situation, if the regulation had positive or negative impact on course of subprime mortgage crisis. I will briefly summarize course of crisis, from the beginning until present and I will characterise the main events on world financial markets during this period of time. In conclusion of my thesis I am going try to analyse impacts on real economy of United States of America, expansion of the crisis all over the world. I will sum up current prognosis for next development of world economy and I will try to conclude an advice or instruction from this crisis.

Ready for Euro?

Recently, there has been a broad discussion regarding the timing of joining the Euro zone. The mainstream opinion is that the sooner the Czech Republic joins, the better. However, as this thesis indicates, especially the econometric model, the Czech Republic is not ready for doing so. Hence, an early accession may not be beneficial.

Ekonomické dopady slovenské daňové reformy

Předmětem práce je posouzení slovenské daňové reformy z roku 2004 z hlediska vlivu na vývoj makroekonomických ukazatelů v následujících 3 letech. Reforma byla postavena na konceptu tzv. rovné daně a spolu se souborem reforem v dalších odvětvích slovenského národního hospodářství představovala jednu z nejradikálnějších pravicových reforem v celosvětovém měřítku. V teoretické části rozebírám nejčastější argumenty vznášené proti či ve prospěch rovného zdanění, resp. progrese, čímž chci odhalit oprávněnost či neoprávněnost, smysluplnost či nesmysluplnost debat vedených na toto téma. V praktické části se pak zaměřuji na zkoumání makroekonomických ukazatelů a událostí z praxe, které hodnotím v kontextu s provedenou reformou v daňové oblasti. V závěru pak tato zkoumání shrnuji a potvrzuji, že reforma odstartovala následný hospodářský růst.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá projektovým financováním relaxačně oddychového a obytného centra Vaďurův Dvůr. Práce nejprve charakterizuje problematiku projektového financování nemovitostí, vymezuje její základní parametry a popisuje strukturu projektu na straně developera i postup banky při poskytování financování. Práce dále analyzuje skutečný podnikatelský záměr vyhotovený k žádosti o projektové financování, je provedeno jeho hodnocení, korekce a optimalizace jeho formální i obsahové struktury. Cílem analýzy je získat optimální návrh podmínek financování od konkrétní banky

Ekonomické efekty reformy Nového Zélandu

New Zealand has gone through remarkable reforms which have encompassed of wide range of government policies which have changed the incentives in private and public sector. This article tries to show the development of New Zealand economy before reform period, shows development of the reforms and tries to assess the economic effects of these reforms. First it analyses the effects in the primary sector, where it defines primary sector as itself and then analyses the incentives that have changed the sector output and conditions. Next the firm dynamics is being analysed as per the effects of the reforms. It is shown that first in some sectors the output proportion in GDP is lowering because of reforms were being made, later it shows this proportion to be rising again. Last, the view is made in effects analysis in labour market, where it has been found, that labour productivity is not growing enough, so the reforms were made too agresively. Next part of this article analyses macroeconomic effects such as public debt, which in brutto has been lowered through reforms to less than 30% of New Zealand GDP. First, inflation which was few years after reforms still in very high rates, but in 1990s it has been reduced well. And finaly the GDP growth itself, where it has been found out, that New Zealand has sacrifised a part of its GDP amount for agressive and fast reforms. Overlooking the period and its effects it has to be said that New Zealand has now a great market economy with transparent public sector, and the sacrifises were probably worth it.
