The motive of choosing the "lesser evil" in the first round of the Election of the President of the Czech Republic 2023 and its impact on the result

This bachelor thesis focuses on strategic voting in the first round of the presidential election of the Czech Republic in 2023. In the theoretical part, the author describes the basic concepts of strategic voting and the psychological influence of electoral systems on voter's decision- making. The main goal of the thesis is to discover the extent to which strategic voting occurred in the first round of the presidential election in the Czech Republic in 2023. For this purpose, the Naše společnost - 2022 listopad dataset processed by CVVM Sociologického ústavu Akademie věd ČR is analysed in the practical part. The analysed dataset consists of 901 respondents, the share of strategic voters was measured on an adjusted sample comprised of 492 respondents. In this sample, a share of 5,89% strategic voters has been identified. This result has been recognised as comparable with the results of foreign research on this topic. The analysis indicates that strategic voters consider the advance of their chosen candidate to the second round of the election to be of similar importance as sincere voters. From the available data, Andrej Babiš has been identified as the candidate who received a higher number of votes in the first round of the 2023 presidential election thanks to strategic voting. Analysis of Economic Indicators Using Statistical Methods

The thesis is focused on the analysis of economic indicators of Brno Transport Company, Inc. using statistical methods. The issue of time series, regression analysis and selected economic indicators is illustrated in the theoretical part. In the practical part the indicators will be analyzed using time series and regression analysis associated with their predictions for the future. The last part contains recommendations for possible determination of strategies and business objectives.

The subject of bachelor thesis is a new domestic building with business premises. This house is designed by wall system POROTHERM. Ceilings are monolithic made of ferroconcrete and the roof is flat. The house has three overhead floors; the first one is used for business premises. The first business premise is a hairdresser; the second one is a tobacco shop. There are four flats in other two overhead floors, two flats in each floor. Each flat has its own loggia with a beautiful panorama. The house is located on the plane plot. It is located in Žatec in the building development of new family houses.

Measurement of relative variance of optical intensity

The intention of this master‘s thesis is the measurment of relative variance of optical intensity. In the first place, I have been studied Kolmogorov cascade theory of turbulence and relative variance of optical intensity . In addition, I have been deal with turbulent cells, Gaussian beam, Top Hat beam and influence of the atmospheric turbulences on the intensity profile of the laser beam. Lastly I have been measured determine influence of the atmospheric turbulences on the intensity profile of the laser beam and I have been calculated relative variance of optical intensity. I have suggested the optimum beam profile in the turbulent atmosphere from acquired data.

The subject of master´s thesis is a new apartment building. This house is designed by wall system POROTHERM. Ceilings are monolithic made of prestressed ferronconcrete panels spiroll and the roof is flat. The house has three overhead floors and it has seven residential units. In four of them enter from the main entrance on the 1st floor, which is on the north side of the building. Three of them have their own entrance on the 1 st floor. Shape of the platform is unfinished ,,Z”. Roofs are designed as a cascade. The house is located on the plane in development of apartment house.

Thermomechanical tire model

This diploma thesis is about thermomechanics of passenger car tires. The research part dealing with existing tire models is followed by the practical part. The practical part is based on the designs of thermomechanical models. The first model determines a dependence of temperature on the air pressure inside a tire when a temperature changes. The second thermomechanical model captures all the heat fluxes which affect a tire while a vehicle is in motion. The third thermomechanical model calculates temperatures of parts of the tire during driving tests. All models are programmed in MATLAB.
