Validation of the effectivenness of individual basketball skills in school physical education
Ielitro, Teodoro ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Vighová, Kristýna (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the validation of the effectivenness of the training of individual basketball game activities in physical education classes. In the theoretical part, a brief history is mentioned, the sport of basketball is characterized, individual game activities are described and one chapter is also devoted to the characterization of adolescents. In the research part, an experiment was chosen as the main method to verify the effectiveness of the training. The experiment involved 59 high school students divided into two research groups, both groups were tested on dribbling, passing and shooting. Subsequently, the experiment was conducted differently for each group and each group was subjected to different forms of game development activities. At the end, the groups were tested again and the results were used to chart the progress of each group and were used to compare the two groups with each other. The main objective was to determine and compare the effect of the individual's practice of game activities on the level of basketball skill development. A sub-objective was to develop a proposed methodological model of teaching using preparatory and movement games that can be used to develop game activities in physical education classes and then to compare the progression of the...
Comparison of the table tennis serves of top ten men and women according to ITTF ranking.
Onderka, František ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Suchý, Jiří (referee)
1 ABSTRACT This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of the effectiveness of different lengths of serve in table tennis and their effect on scoring points, depending on whether the opponent receives the serve with a forehand or a backhand. The methodology of the thesis was based on the observation and analysis of videos available on the WTT and YouTube websites, where the serves of the top ten men and women from the current ITTF world rankings were watched. Recordings from 82 matches and 300 sets were analysed to identify factors of successful serve. The results of the research showed that the success rate of a serve depends on its length and the type of reception of the opponent. For men, the highest success rate was recorded for half long serves received with the forehand, while for women, half long serves received with the backhand were the most successful. The research also showed consistencies between the genders, for example, the success rate of long serve with forehand reception was low for both men and women. This work provides valuable information for coaches and table tennis players seeking to optimise their serve and improve their game strategy. The results of this work offer practical recommendations for both professional players and the general public interested in this interesting and...
Volleyball in physical education classes at primary school
Králová, Hana ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Suchý, Jiří (referee)
At the beginning of my research, I will conduct a survey based on which I will find out how 9th grade girls master the game of volleyball, whether they have played it before or not, or how often they have played it, and how they are doing with individual volleyball skills. The initial investigation includes a questionnaire for female students in two selected classes and their volleyball skills testing. Based on the information found, I will prepare the lessons. I will have prepared one method of teaching volleyball for female students of one class - teaching individual game activities. I will teach them all volleyball skills, train with them and practice everything. E.g. two-handed uppercut (fingers), two-handed lowercut (digger), serve and attack stroke. And for the second class, I will prepare a different method of teaching volleyball - teaching free play. I will play mini volleyball with them. From the easiest yellow mini volleyball to the hardest blue mini volleyball. In yellow mini volleyball, only team players throw the ball to each other. In orange mini-volleyball, you catch the ball and then pass it to your teammates by hitting it with both hands with the top (fingers) after your own pitch. In the red mini- volleyball, it is possible to perform an intermediate rebound with both hands with...
Returning to sport after LCA rupture in university students of physical education and sport.
Paulusová, Barbora ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Chrástková, Martina (referee)
This work is focused on the return of athletes who study physical education at universities to sports and active movement after a knee injury, specifically after a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ligamentum cruciatum anterius - LCA). The LCA is an important stabilizer of the knee joint, its rupture is one of the frequent and serious knee injuries during sports. Rupture of the LCA has very serious consequences for the biomechanics of the knee joint. The thesis describes the anatomy of the knee joint and possible causes of LCA injuries. The diploma thesis also deals with methods of injury diagnosis and treatment options. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether, after experiencing this injury, the athletes were able to return to sport without performance limitations and, if so, how their recovery took place. Musculoskeletal injuries in volleyball players in relation to prevention and regeneration
Vodičková, Sára ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Panská, Šárka (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the most common musculoskeletal injuries of volleyball players of all performance and age groups. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the injuries that the players suffered during training sessions or matches, how serious they are, how they recover and how to prevent their reoccurrence. The theoretical part of the work is mainly focused on the description of the units of the human locomotor system susceptible to injury during the game, following their diagnosis. The practical part of the work deals with the analysis of individual injuries in relation to performance and age groups and preventive and regenerative measures. The method of expert questionnaire survey is used to obtain this data. The obtained data are processed on the basis of the studied Czech and foreign literature and compared with similar studies dealing with the issue of injury rates in relation to prevention and regeneration. The results of the work indicate that the fingers are the most injured part of the musculoskeletal system, and the game specialization most prone to injuries is the post libero. Another finding is the many times greater injury rate among young groups of players and the general lack of preparation for physical activity among most volleyball players, which does...
