Analysis and design of decoupling capacitors in the 65 nm CMOS digital standard library

Tato práce se zabývá návrhem blokovacích kondenzátorů ve formě CMOS tranzistorů pro stabilizaci napájecího napětí v digitální standardní knihovně se zaměřením na 65 nm technologii. Úvod poskytuje přehled CMOS technologie a popis MOS struktur. Analýza porovnává čtyři topologie blokovacích kondenzátorů (NMOS, PMOS, CMOS, Cross-Coupled) a identifikuje Cross-Coupled jako nejlepší volbu. Poslední část se zaměřuje na návrh a optimalizaci layoutu blokovacích kondenzátorů. Byly vytvořeny čtyři různé layouty, optimalizované pro kapacitu, činitel jakosti, svodový proud a kompromis mezi těmito faktory, aby mohly být integrovány do standardních digitálních knihoven podle specifických aplikací.

Development of an algorithm for optimizing clock balanced cells in a digital standard cell library

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis and optimization of clock-balanced cells in a digital standard library. The bachelor thesis was to explore the impact of cells in CMOS technology and assess their influence on the stability of the clock signal. Emphasis was placed on the effects of unbalanced clock cells in the path of the clock signal path, and the consequences that may arise if these cells are used. As part of the bachelor thesis, cells of logical operators such as buffer, inverter, AND, and OR were simulated. It is demonstrated how these cells are implemented in CMOS technology using PMOS and NMOS transistors, and the process of cell balancing is described. All simulations were conducted in the ngspice environment. Subsequently, the whole process was automated by developing an algorithm in Python.

Experimental validation of the parasitic RC components extraction (PEX extraction) using ring oscillators

The main focus of this work is verification of extraction of parasitic RC components. The theoretical part is concerned with theoretical terms from the area of design of integrated circuits, ring oscillators, parasitic extraction and frequency counting are clarified. The practical section is dedicated to measuring at manufactured structures on a silicon wafer and simulation, which simulates the designed structures in Cadence Virtuoso. For the parasitic extraction to be verified, it is necessary to compare the measured and simulation frequencies, to find out the deviations and to point out configurations with limited accuracy. Section of the practical part is dedicated to statistical analysis and suggestion on improving the parasitic extraction.

Stepper motor driver with feedback for positioning platform

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem a stavbou uzavřené regulační soustavy pro výšku a azimut optomechanické platformy. Cílem je porovnat rotační senzory a následně navrhnout kontroler pro krokový motor. Prototyp regulačního systému byl postaven s využitím platformy Arduino, řadiče krokového motoru DRV8825, krokového motoru NEMA-17 a hallového senzoru AEAT-9922 pro měření rotace. Prototyp dokáže otáčet krokovým motorem s rozlišením 0.056°, což je maximální přesnost řadiče DRV8825 při použití mikrokrokování 1/32. Deska finálního řadiče byla přepracována tak, aby zahrnovala rozhraní SPI-4 pro hallový senzor AEAT-9922. Deska obsahuje řadič krokového motoru L6470H s mikrokrokováním 1/128 a má rozlišení 0.014°.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation of the Company Tesla Jihlava, s.r.o.

This thesis is devoted to the evaluation of financial situation of the Tesla Jihlava Ltd. on the market. The methods and selected indicators of financial analysis are used to its rating. For comparison with the competition there is elaborated and subsequently evaluated also financial analysis of FOREZ Ltd. company, which is the biggest competitor of the described one. A comparison of these two business objects deals with the period of six years and specifically started from 2007 to 2012. On the basis of found results there are offered such solutions and arrangements for improvement of the financial situtation and the position of this company on the market.

Audio signal dynamic compressors

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to get acquainted with the problems of analog compressors dynamics of the audio signal and practically verify one selected diagram. It deals with individual functional blocks compressor dynamics and shows examples of their implementation. Explains the characteristics of analog compressors and clearly justifies their importance. The thesis also describes the different topologies of analog compressors. Also discusses dynamic processors as such and summarizes their distribution by elementary principle and functionality.
