School and Community Projects Focusing on Health and Safety at Primary Schools in the Pardubice region

The diploma thesis deals with school and commuinicative projects with a focus on health and safety at elementary schools in the Pardubice region. The aim of this thesis is to find out whether the offer of projects or programs related to health and safety is sufficient, whether schools use these offered projects or if they prefer to create projects or programs themselves. Another goal of the thesis is to find out if the schools feel any lack of program topics or programs on the market and if so, which ones. The final goal of this work is to create an overview of externally offered projects and programs related to health and safety. In the theoretical part are defined terms related to projects and programs focusing on health and safety questions of an individual, of their organization, and of realization at elementary school in the Pardubice region. The practical part presents interviews with school leaders, expert teachers and with school operational staff. In some interviews, the interviewed respondents mention interesting school projects that the respective schools have created themselves and that the projects proven successful in practice. Prevention of extremism and terrorism in schools

The thesis focuses on the issue of prevention of extremism and terrorism on soft targets in selected secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to find out what measures are being taken to protect against extremism and terrorism in selected secondary schools and whether there is sufficient funds are spent on the prevention of extremism and terrorism. The structure of the thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, the basic concepts are defined with the use of research of selected textual sources, the factors influencing the inclination to extremism and terrorism are described and the concept of combating extremism and terrorism in the environment of secondary schools is presented. The practical research part is empirical in nature and deals with the description of the implementation of quantitative research, its analysis and interpretation of the data obtained in order to obtain information on the practical approach of principals and teaching staff of selected secondary schools in the Czech Republic to the issue of preventing extremism and terrorism. Protecting health and safety in an elementary school setting

The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of health and safety in primary schools, prevention and statistics of accidents. The main topic is school accidents, safety risks and social safety. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to the issue, as well as valid legislation and recommendations. The practical part of this work is divided into two parts. The first section is a research of the available information obtained from the school archive, comparison with information databases from the Internet and methodological guidelines for ensuring the safety and health protection of children, pupils and students in schools and educational institutions established by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. In the second section of the practical part of the pedagogical research, a qualitative method of data collection is used, namely interviews with teachers, their experiences with injuries, risks and social safety in schools related to their practice. Nutrition and sport of a selected group of women during pregnancy

This bachelor's thesis focuses on nutrition and exercise during pregnancy in a selected group of women. The main aim of this study is to determine whether dietary habits have changed among pregnant women and in what manner. Additionally, it seeks to find out whether pregnant women continue with their physical activity/sport routines from before conception. The presented thesis comprises two main parts: the theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is divided into two major subchapters. The first subchapter concerns nutrition during pregnancy, detailing specific aspects such as suitable and unsuitable diets, appropriate dietary supplementations, intake of fruits and vegetables, and adequate hydration, which pregnant women often overlook. Following this is the second subchapter, which addresses exercise during pregnancy. Topics include the significance of physical activity during pregnancy, suitable and unsuitable physical activities/sports during gravidity, physical activity across trimesters, and the impact of physical activity on the mental well-being of pregnant women. The Impact of an Intervention Programme on Risky Sexual Behaviour and Prevention for Secondary Medical School Students

1 ABSTRACT This master thesis deals with the influence of the intervention program on risky sexual behavior and the possibilities of its prevention for students of secondary medical school. The main objective was to determine its effect on knowledge in the area of risky sexual behavior, about selected STIs and the use of condoms; changing attitudes towards intercourse and the use of condoms; self-efficacy for refusing intercourse, communicating about condom use, buying and using condoms; barriers to condom use by program participants. To fulfill it, an intervention program based on current knowledge and procedures in the field of school prevention and intervention was designed. Subsequently, its feasibility was verified in practice with the participation of male and female students aged 15-18 years of the 1st year of the secondary medical school in Příbram. In order to answer the research questions, a research using the pretest-posttest design, as well as questionnaire surveys, was conducted simultaneously. Implementation of Health and Safety Education in a Elementary School with Small Classes

The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a research part. In the theoretical part, I define concepts such as implementation, health, and health education. I focus on the area of Child and Its Body, which is included and specified in the Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education. Furthermore, I describe the concept of health education in preschools. I also cover the area of Human and Its World, specifically the field of Human and Its Health, which is included in the Framework Educational Program for Primary Education, at the first stage. I discuss small rural schools and finally, I write about safety in the school environment. The second part is focused on the analysis in the field of health education, specifically - the school educational program, the school preventive program, and the annual report of Sloup v Čechách Primary and Nursery School. Based on the conducted analysis, suggestions for improvements in the researched area will be formulated. Intergenerational Relations and Cooperation in the Teaching Staff and Their Influence on Education.

The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a research investigation. In the theoretical part the author deals with communication and defines the concept. Then, it deals with conflicts, which the author defines and describes the different kinds and also delves into rivalry and generational conflicts. The thesis also describes teaching models as a source of conflicts. It describes the relationship to self and relationships to others. Last but not least, it discusses the school, the teaching staff and the vision of the school under study. The second part consists of a research investigation. The research investigation was conducted in the form of an online questionnaire for teachers and for pupils. The questionnaire for teachers consisted of both closed and open-ended questions and the questionnaire for pupils consisted of closed-ended questions only. The data were presented in graphical form. The questionnaires are attached in the appendices at the end of the thesis, where the answers to the open-ended questions for teachers are also attached. Reflection on the concept of reproductive health education in primary education.

The research yielded in the field fails to explain how reproductive health education has been implemented in primary schools during the 1990s, and how it fulfilled the initial expectations with which it was introduced, from the perspective of its participants. The objective of the presented dissertation is to propose further potential steps towards the advancement of this domain and to identify topics suitable for further research in the field of reproductive health education on the basis of a survey of available sources, current research and presented research. The project examines the issue through the perspective of respondents from two countries: the Czech Republic and Spain. These two European nations implemented reproductive health education during the same period, yet with distinct approaches. Spain, with its strong Catholic tradition, contrasts with the Czech Republic, which registers a relatively low proportion of individuals with declared religious affiliation, according to statistical data from the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ) in 2021. The diploma thesis "Inclusive education with a focus on the pupil with a different mother tongue" is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is based on the basis of a professional literary research of the chosen issue, in which the author focuses on the pupil with special educational needs from a different socio-cultural environment, on a pupil with a different mother tongue who is educated at a regular primary school. In the introductory theoretical part, the author deals with migration, multiculturalism and briefly introduces the country, the national minority, where the student with a different language comes from. The author also includes an explanation of the terms such as intercultural identity, communication-language and integration of foreigners to this topic. In the second chapter of the theoretical part of "Inclusive education" of the pupils with specific educational needs, the author focuses on pupils with a different mother tongue. This diploma thesis deals with the issue of health and safety protection in the environment of a selected secondary vocational school and related health risks and the possibility of accidents. The aim of the work will be to identify weaknesses in the field of health and safety protection at the selected secondary school based on a questionnaire survey and, based on the results, to propose methods and possibilities for increasing awareness of health and safety protection, as the basic conditions for compliance with the rules of health and safety protection at school by the pupils themselves. The output of the work will be not only knowledge of the real situation of practicing health and safety at a selected secondary school, but also a proposal of how to better inform pupils and also involve them in the process of how they themselves can take care of their own health and safety protection in the school environment.
