This thesis focuses on the success of selected university students in relation to their overall well-being. The work has two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the basic premises related to personal well-being, the education of university students, and on one selected determinant of well-being - success. In the practical part, the objectives of the work are set, the research sample is described, as well as the survey method, and subsequently, the results of the research study are interpreted. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Education of Charles University in the form of an online questionnaire survey, which was distributed among students predominantly in their third year. The results show that respondents who rate their subjective well-being positively also rate the entire area of success positively. Along with achieving long- term goals, with appreciating the success of others, with perseverance, responsibility, and will, which are necessary for achieving success. Minor deviations among students appeared in the evaluation of partial goals. The respondents were able to access the success of others very positively and share the joy with them. However, when considering their own success, they were somewhat more critical. Furthermore, small differences appeared in the analysis of...

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the topic of a comprehensive examination of the relationship between economic security and the well-being of university students. The aim of the thesis is to determine how financial stability, financial literacy, and other economic factors affect psychological and physical well-being. Everything is placed in the context of the current economic and social conditions, which are constantly changing. Global and geopolitical events that have influenced the view on well-being as such in recent years and forced the population to reconsider priorities and the way of perceiving security and overall well-being are mentioned aswell. The theoretical part of the thesis addresses individual concepts and current trends in well-being, for example, the PERMA+4 model, which expands well-being to include economic security. Everything is set in the context of influencing overall well-being in connection with financial literacy and financial stability. Subsequently, the theoretical part discusses factors that affect economic security, such as proper management of financial resources, financial literacy, or investments. This section also provides an assessment of the risks and pitfalls of financial market tools and brief guides for achieving better economic security, from a general...

Mobile Application Monitoring Using TLS Fingerprints
Kočí, Jan ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
The main purpose of this thesis is to study the possibility of using TLS fingerprints for mobile application monitoring and apply these methods to monitor network flows created by the Flowmon probe. To create the fingerprints the JA3 and JA3S methods are used. Apart from the TLS fingerprints, the implemented classifier uses SNI values to classify input flows. First, a dataset containing fingerprints of selected applications is created. This dataset is used together with the implemented classifier to classify input flows. Following is a description of the proposed classification methods and the implemented classifier. The classifier is evaluated using the Accuracy, Precision and Recall evaluation metrics. Finally, the classifier is used in several experiments that demonstrate its possible applications.
Optimization of PID controller using evolutionary computing techniques
Kočí, Jakub ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with using evolutionary computation for tuning up PID controller. In research part there are summarised information about regulation and another background information about quality of regulation and ITAE criterion. Practical part consist of implementing three evolutionary computation algorithms - differential evolution, evolution strategy and genetic algorithm. Recommender System for Web Articles
V další části pak implementuje tuto architekturu společně s několika dalšími modely, požívající algoritmus SVD, collaborative filtering s algoritmem ALS a také metodu Doc2Vec k vytvoření vektorové reprezentace z obsahu získaných článků. Na závěr vytváří tři evaluační metriky, konkrétně metriky RANK, Recall at k a Precision at k, a vyhodnocuje kvalitu implementovaných modelů srovnáním výsledků s nejmodernějšími modely. Kromě toho také diskutuje o roli a smyslu doporučovacích systémů ve společnosti a uvádí motivaci pro jejich používání.
Well-being, methods of measuring well-being and their practical application
Kosková, Kateřina ; Kočí, Jana (advisor) ; Váchová, Alena (referee)
This thesis explores the topic of well-being in university students and related subjects, such as positive psychology, quality of life, and happiness. It introduces readers to the possible approaches of this concept and attempts to clearly define it's direction and purpose. One of the most well-known contemporary studies in this field is the Theory of Well-Being by American psychologist M. Seligman, through which the PERMA model was introduced. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to measure well-being in a randomly selected group of university students using a questionnaire survey method. Translated PERMA™ model questionnaire enriched with 4 additional questions and a questionnaire from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development were used to obtain the data. The theoretical part also introduces research questions, which are subsequently answered in discussion based on the analysis and summary of individual data.
