Modern elements of traffic management and their use in urban agglomerations

Modern elements of traffic management are a factor that ensures the optimization of traffic. Road transport is constantly evolving and needs to be managed in order to continue to operate smoothly. The bachelor's thesis deals with research into intelligent transport systems, which are most likely able to maintain traffic flows or even accelerate them. The analysis is focused on urban agglomerations, specifically České Budějovice and Hradec Králové. The evaluation of the systems takes place in the given sections of the cities for which the necessary data has been found. The sources of information for the analysis are primarily from the SWARCO company, from the traffic census from the ŘSD, from documents of the Charles University, from Dopravní noviny and from the web file of Vlastimil Melichar, from which the procedure of all calculations was drawn. The evaluation of modern elements of traffic management is carried out by comparing the relevant data. Another data calculation determines the saved costs from the acceleration of traffic flows. The time saved is also appreciated by the time that traffic participants could otherwise spend in the work process. It was estimated that on the Rudolfovská třída - Na Sadech - Žižkova třída route, if the traffic flow were accelerated by an average of 2.5 minutes, drivers could save costs of up to 45,554,400 CZK per year. Speeding up the traffic flow in Hradec Králové on the route Mrštíkova Street - Palachova Street by 0.6 minutes could save costs for the average daily volume of vehicles by up to CZK 14,434,351.2 per year. A case study on the public transport preference showed that speeding up transport for an average of 50 people per 1 bus and with the average daily bus intensity could possibly save up to CZK 98,461,440 per year. The conclusion is a comparison of investments with all the calculated benefits, from which the assumption for the further implementation of intelligent transport systems follows.

Wooden structure of a hall for cultural and social purposes

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design and assessment of a load-bearing wooden structure of a hall for cultural and social purposes, which is located in the town Prostějov. The ground plan dimensions of the construction are 40×25 metres and the height of the construction is 10 metres. The structure is covered with a green saddle roof with 10° inclination. A main load-bearing system is constructed of transverse frames from truss girders and columns made of a glued laminated timber. The axial distance of the frames is 4 metres. The roof construction is completed by purlins. The transmission of loads in longitudinal direction and the spatial rigidity of the structure are secured by the system of bracing. These elements are designed from a solid timber.

Thermal pool roof structure

This master’s thesis deals with the design and assessment of a load-bearing timber roof structure of a thermal pool located in the Jeseník spa. The structure was chosen based on two preliminary variants. The ground plan dimensions of the construction are 37,5×22,5 metres and it reaches a height of 10 metres at the highest point. A main load-bearing system is constructed of transverse frames from wave-shaped roof trusses and columns made of a glued laminated timber. The axial distance of the frames is 2,5 metres and they are connected by purlins. The transmission of loads in longitudinal direction and the spatial rigidity of the structure are secured by the system of steel bracing. The structure is covered with a green roof. The cladding consists of glass facade and sandwich wall panels. The thesis contains a technical report, detailed static calculation and drawing documentation of the selected variant.

The Maintenance Obligation

The Maintenance Obligation Resume The thesis is concerning maintenance obligation issue whereas is taking into account all categories of the maintenance obligation. The maintenance obligation is one of the family law juridical institutes that includes number of correlative rights and duties and applies to anyone whether in the position of obligor or obligee. The thesis is aimed to compare legal regulations related to the maintenance obligation presented in the Act no 94/1963 of the Coll. on family, as amended by subsequent acts, with legal enactment in Act no 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, as amended by subsequent acts. First chapter of the thesis highlights basic terms of the problem as the alimony and the maintenance obligation, and also explains the function of the maintenance obligation. Next chapter of the thesis introduces legal regulation related to the maintenance obligation from historical view and focuses on the legal regulation in the Civil Code 2012 and the reasons of its enactment. As next, the thesis summarizes individual categories of the maintenance obligation and follows mutual relations among them. The thesis also specifies basic condition for the duration of the maintenance obligation and also particular criteria for the formulation of the extension concerning maintenance obligation, that are...

Unterhalt zwischen den Eltern und den Kindern Resümee Meine Diplomarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema des Unterhalts zwischen den Eltern und den Kindern. Dieses Thema betrifft fast jeden von uns, entweder als den Unterhaltspflichtiger oder als den Unterhaltsberechtigter. Meiner Meinung nach ist das Thema des Unterhalts zwischen den Eltern und den Kindern sehr interessant und immer aktuell und verdient Beachtung der ganzen Gesellschaft. Das erste Kapitel meiner Arbeit erklärt die Grundbegriffe dieser Problematik, als der Unterhalt, seine Arten und Funktionen. Dieses Kapitel beschreibt auch kurz die historische Entwicklung der rechtlichen Regelung der Unterhaltspflicht und grenzt die Subjekte der Unterhaltspflicht ab. Die gröβte Aufmerksamkeit wird in meiner Arbeit der Unterhaltspflicht gegenüber dem Minderjährigen gewidmet, weil die rechtliche Regelung dieser Art der Unterhaltpflicht am wichtigsten und gesellschaftlich am bedeutendsten ist. Meiner Arbeit beschäftigt sich vor allem mit den Kriterien für die Festsetzung der Höhe des Unterhaltsbeitrags, der Zeitdauer und der Weise der Leistung des Unterhalts. M-commerce as a new purchasing phenomenon

(in English): Thesis deals with the phenomenon of m-commerce. History section briefly describes the evolution and significant moments for further development of this segment and its subsequent adaptation. It also discusses the types of transactions that are carried out through mobile devices and also about technologies that allow for a gradual transformation of these devices into multifunctional objects. The fourth chapter deals with the evaluation of practical research, which was carried out by me. The research was focused on the typology of purchases that are realized by Czech users through their mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) in relation to mobile smartphone platform, which they own.
