Particular attention is focused on the reasons for the close interdependence of the Catholic Church with the Francoist regime and the main moments of their collaboration during the period. The author then focuses on the gradual departure of the Catholic Church from the Francoist system - from a phase of partial expressions of disagreement to a period when the opposition tendency to the regime became dominant in the Catholic Church.
