Cílem diplomové práce je představit fungování Národního divadla v Praze pod ideologickým dohledem vládnoucí komunistické strany v letech 1968-1989. Zahrnuté kapitoly se snaží podat ucelený obraz o kulturní politice v době tzv. normalizace. V těchto podmínkách vykazovalo svou činnost i Národní divadlo. První část práce se zabývá společensko-historickým kontextem a vybranými událostmi, které ovlivnily další politický vývoj v zemi. Vstup vojsk Varšavské smlouvy na území Československa přiměl změnit dosavadní poměry, upevnila se moc i cenzura. Druhá část práce se proto věnuje popisu československého kulturního státního aparátu, jednotlivých institucí a jejich činnosti ve vymezeném období. Odpovídá na to, jak stát reguloval kulturu a jaká cenzurní nařízení vešla v platnost. Ve třetí části obecně představuje, jaký vliv měla změna politické situace po roce 1968 na divadelní scénu. Čtvrtá, stěžejní část práce se zaměřuje přímo na Národní divadlo, neorientuje se jenom na dramatické a inscenační směřování, ale i na jeho vybrané osobnosti. Na tuto část přímo navazuje případová studie obsahující rozhovor s herečkou Taťjanou Medveckou, která v Národním divadle působí od roku 1975. Klíčová slova cenzura, činohra, divadlo, komunismus, kultura, Národní divadlo, normalizace The aim of the thesis is to present the functioning of the National Theatre in Prague under the ideological supervision of the ruling Communist Party in the years 1968-1989. The included chapters aim to provide a comprehensive picture of cultural policy during the so-called normalization period. In these conditions, the National Theatre also carried out its activities. The first part deals with the socio-historical context and selected events that influenced further political developments in the country. The entry of Warsaw Pact troops into Czechoslovakia led to a change in the existing conditions, consolidating power and censorship. Therefore, the second part describes the Czechoslovak cultural state apparatus, individual institutions, and their activities during the defined period. It explores how the state regulated culture and the censorship regulations that were enforced. The third part generally presents the impact of the political changes after 1968 on the theater scene. The fourth pivotal part of the work focuses directly on the National Theatre, not only on its dramatic and staging directions but also on its selected personalities. This part is directly followed by a case study containing an interview with actress Taťjana Medvecká, who has been active in the National Theatre since 1975....
