Structure analysis of molecular crystals
Janíček, Jakub ; Císařová, Ivana (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Pavel (referee)
Summary: Diploma thesis covers characterization of molecular crystals by X-ray structural analysis. N-carbamimidazoylisonikotinamid and 1-phenylguanidin were chosen, because their potential use in second harmony generation. Their salts with inorganic acids were prepared and determined their structures. Phase transition of 4,6-diaminopyrimidinium nitrate was studied by x-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry. This phase transition is accompanied by thermosalient effect, causing that the crystals jump. Keywords: thermosalient, jumping crystal, X-ray diffraction, non-linear optics, N-carbamimidazoylnikotinamid, 1-phenylguanidin, 4,6diaminopyrmidin.
The development of cataloging rules used in Germany, namely Prussian instructions and rules RAK
Císařová, Iveta ; Drobíková, Barbora (advisor) ; Kovaříková, Klára (referee)
The aim of this work is to map the evolution of cataloguing rules on the territory of today's Federal Republic of Germany with more detailed description of Prussian Instructions and The rules for alphabetical cataloging (RAK). The introductory chapter disserts upon the general origin of the cataloguing rules in libraries. The second chapter offers a brief overview of german librarianship. The following chapter is devoted to particular personalities which played an important role in the beginning of german cataloguing practice. The next chapter describes the circumstances of the origination of Prussian Instructions, their structure and content. The fifth chapter describes the evolution of cataloguing rules for public libraries, which originated by simplification of Prussian Instructions, and their revisions. Also explained are the historical reasons for the creation of The rules for alphabetical cataloging (RAK), and their evolution. This chapter also includes a part devoted to the content of these rules. Following are the descriptions of efforts to harmonize german and anglo-american standards in the projects REUSE, RAK2, Changing for international formats and Codes (MARC21, AACR2). In the last chapter is described the current state of organization of the german librarianship and also are mentioned the so...
Student's Life at Dormitories Material of Temporality
Císařová, Ivona ; Sekeráková Búriková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Ezzeddine, Petra (referee)
This essay is focused on material culture in students' dormitories. Dormitories offer temporary accomodation, similarly as studies are a temporary period. This time is characteristic of the fact, that a student is permanently on a way: either aboard a train between parents' home and the dormitory - or in a dormitory corridor with hands full of boxes and suitcases. I concentrate on how the students relate themselves through material practices to the space they live in, whereas the place is "temporary". I focus on decorations and things which students use to surround themselves in their rooms. I study a relationship between ways students relate themselves to their living in the dormitory and their perception of home or what home generally means. Is it possible for these students to be at the dormitories "at home"?I observe, that students tend to improve their rooms and create 'a home'. They often make their close persons present through decorations. The students' contradictory movement is not to create, decorate or improve. I conclude, that the second behaviour results from the students' perception of temporality characteristic for the accomodation at the dormitories.
Substance abuse and addictive behaviour among people with acquired physical disability: questionnaire survey.
Císařová, Ivana ; Svěcená, Kateřina (advisor) ; Kulhánek, Adam (referee)
Background: In the Czech Republic and abroad, there is very little research regarding addiction-related issues of physically disabled people, although there are many risk factors that may contribute to the development of substance use problems in this group. Substance use also often plays a role in the aetiology of the disability itself. Objective: The main aim of this paper was to map out and analyze the use of legal and illegal substances and addictive behaviour in a specific group of people with acquired physical disabilities. Methods: The research was conceptualized using a quantitative method and data was collected through an online questionnaire survey. Further, the data was processed and analysed using Microsoft Excel and TIBCO Statistica 13. The research sample consisted of 102 individuals with acquired physical disabilities whose average age was 39,8 years. Results: The results show that, according to the AUDIT questionnaire, 88,2 % of individuals in the group of people with an acquired physical disability abstain or consume alcohol at low risk. Respondents who had a positive prognosis for their disability had significantly lower AUDIT scores than respondents without a positive prognosis. It was also revealed that 18,6 % of the respondents smoked daily or almost daily and the majority...

Determination of the level of physical abilities in sporting and nonporting children in the 2nd grade of elementary school.
Císařová, Iveta ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Pádivý, Martin (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out the level of motoric abilities in sports and non- sporting children at the 2nd level of elementary school. Based on eight selected standardized tests, we find the required level of motor skills and, above all, the real difference between sports and non-sporting children. In the theoretical part I deal with the characteristics of individual motor abilities, sports and non-sporting children at present days. In the research part I tested 80 children of elementary school by motor tests and based on the questioning method I found out the rate of sports and non-sporting children. The results of the movement tests and the questionnaire were statistically processed and evaluated. KEYWORDS Motor skills and abilities, endurance, speed, strenght, coordination, sporting and non sporting chil
Preparation and Physicochemical Properties of [6]Helicenes Fluorinated at Terminal Rings.
Církva, Vladimír ; Jakubík, Pavel ; Žádný, Jaroslav ; Vacek, J. ; Strašák, Tomáš ; Hrbáč, J. ; Císařová, I. ; Storch, Jan
Two fluorinated helicenes, tetrafluoro[6]helicene and octafluoro[6]helicene were prepared photochemically and their physicochemical and optical properties were investigated. A separation of racemic tetrafluoro[6]helicene into individual enantiomers (P and M) was performed and the racemization barrier was determined. Crystal structures of major synthetic products including individual enantiomers of tetrafluoro[6]helicene were determined showing the replacement of π-π and CH-π interactions by CH-F interactions with increasing fluorine substitution. DFT calculation were performed to get an insight into the charge distribution and HOMO-LUMO gap.
