What is the attitude of special educators to the policy of inclusion?

The bachelor's thesis deals with the opinions of special educators in special schools on inclusion. Although they are not direct actors of inclusion, they are workers in education and it can be useful to know their opinion. The aim of this work is to find out the opinion of the interviewed special education teachers, and then compare them with the opinions of other respondents. In the theoretical part, I deal with the concept of inclusion, the definition of the role of a special pedagogue in a special school, I state who is a pupil with special educational needs, I present two special schools in České Budějovice, in which special pedagogues teach, who were used as respondents in the practical part, and finally, I present the theory of street- level bureaucracy and the theory of the role of line workers in public policy, with whom I continue to work in the practical part. In the practical part, I present qualitative research using four semi-structured interviews and analysis of media outputs of special educators in newspapers and on the Internet. I subsequently analyze these sources. I mainly focus on their personal opinion on inclusion, then the perception of their role in the inclusion process, trust in the system and I apply the already mentioned theories. Physical activities of students in special primary schools in the central Bohemian region

1 Abstract Title of the thesis: Physical activities of students in special primary schools in the central Bohemian region Aim of the study: The aim of the thesis is a comprehensive survey of physical activities provided by special primary schools in the Central Bohemian region. Method: We used a method of an empirical research. We studied a representative sample of special primary schools located in the Central Bohemia region in order to ascertain characteristics of the objects of observation. The variant of research was a status method. The method of data collection was a questionnaire. Results: The results of the research show a different range of physical activities offered by schools included in our study. The structure of physical education lessons is rich and follows the needs of their students. 90 % of schools organize one-day- programmes focused on physical activities. 70% of schools organize programmes lasting more days, 30 % of schools do not organize programmes of this kind. 70 % of schools offer no sports courses. The survey also revealed the fact that 50 % of schools offer no after-school clubs focused on physical activities. 30 % of schools organize ball games clubs, 20 % table tennis clubs, 20 % physical education for students with health problems, 10 % dancing club. 100 % of schools organize...
Creativity of teachers in the educational process in special elementary school

The diploma thesis "Creativity of teachers in the educational process in special elementary school" focuses on teachers in special elementary schools at this moment. The thesis is divided into four parts. First three chapters sumarizes the facts about creativity gained from the special literature. The first chapter sumarizes generall knowledges about creativity. It describes the notion of creativity and compares the definitions of various authors. In the second chapter it describes creativity from the view of the special pedagogues and describes the creative methods which may be used by them during the educational process. The second chapter also describes the barriers which can appeares on the way to creativity. The third chapter focuses on the meaning of special pedagogues for the special elementary schools. It describes special elemetary schools and how can special pedagogues develop their own creativity and which creative methodes they can use during teaching. The fourth chapter focuses on the use of creative methods. The main target is the analysis of the educational programme for the special elementary schools. Implementation of weekly thematic units into the teaching in special elementary school

The thesis deals with possibilities of educating pupils with moderate and severe mental disabilities, multiple disabilities and autism. The theoretical part describes an educational system of these pupils and presents an integrated thematic teaching model in weekly units. The practical part presents a proposal of teaching project in the specific educational needs of these pupils. The aim of this thesis is to introduce proposed teaching project in the duration of one month, into the conditions of particular special elementary school and find out its learning results by action research. The outputs of this thesis are proposals for integrated thematic teaching in special elementary school. Assistant of The Teacher at Schools for Hearing Disabled in Czech Republic

In this bachelor thesis I deal with the legislative support and real role of a teacher and a personal assistant who work with hearing disabled people. I concentrate on the teacher - assistant cooperation in the process of education. Above all, I focus on their job description. However, I also mention some other problematic aspects such as professional qualification, possibilities of further education, and funding. Main aim of my thesis is to pay attention to assistance in schools for hearing disabled students, furthermore, I describe what the situation at normal schools, where hearing disabled children / pupils / students may be integrated, is like. In addition I deal with the role of an interpreter, his/her duties at school, his/her legislative role and I try to explain the difference between an assistant and an interpreter. In the thesis I also give a short overview of a system of Czech schools for hearing disabled people and number of assistants and pupils in these schools. Moreover, I deal with the cooperation of hearing and deaf pedagogical workers. A part of my thesis is formed by a research.
