New synagogue Jablonec nad Nisou

This thesis focuses on the design of a new synagogue in Jablonec nad Nisou, which serves not only as a religious space but also as a social and community center for the local, not exclusively Jewish, community. The project aimed to create a multifunctional building that respects the historical significance of the original site while providing a modern and functional environment for spiritual, cultural, and social activities. The architectural solution of the building utilizes modern materials and technologies, including ventilated facades with illuminated glass panels and stainless steel elements, which ensure an aesthetic look and long-term sustainability of the building. In addition to the synagogue, the project includes a kosher restaurant, community spaces, and a shared underground parking lot, all contributing to the revitalization of the urban environment. The project placed maximum emphasis on integrating the building into the historical context of the city and its abstract connection to the neighboring Glass and Costume Jewelry Museum. Great emphasis was also placed on its functional connection with the surrounding environment. The project was developed considering the specific needs of the Jewish community and includes features that support spiritual and community life, such as prayer spaces oriented towards Jerusalem, the community center itself with a library, and outdoor relaxation areas.

The bachelor thesis deals with the development of a glass pendant interior light. The author utilizes optical principles to achieve the desired lighting effect while contextualizing the piece within an interior space. The light design is conceived as a modular system, enabling the customer to assemble multiple units as a construction kit. The result of the thesis is a prototype ready for mass production.
Architectural study of the sacred building and the Salesian community center in Brno - Líšeň

The task of the diploma thesis is the design of the sacral building of Salesians and community center in Brno – Líšeň. The founder of the Salesian order is the Italian priest John Bosco. The Salesian style stands on three pillars: reason, religion and kindness. It is a style of educational work, based on a preventive system and constant assistance. The Salesian congregation and subsequently the entire complex of the center in the urban district Brno-Líšeň received help from the foundation fund for youth, which he started in 1998 its construction. The proposed facility should cover the remaining needs of visitors and should be accessible to the general public. As a result, an architectural design was created, which includes an object of church with a parish section and a community center. The sacral object consists of a dominant glass cube standing on a one-storey long base and a community centre building with parish housing. At the centre of the composition is a parish garden with a steel bell tower. The whole complex consists of two masses connected by a steel colonnade. The first main mass includes a church with a back yard. The second mass of the complex is the community centre with the main coworking space and the parish priest's accommodation.
Restoration of the renaissance town hall in Hostěradice

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to prepare project documentation for building permits and construction implementation based on an architectural study, which was created within the course BGA036 - Atelier of Monuments Restoration. The subject of the study was the restoration of the listed Renaissance town hall in Hostěradice, which had lost its original purpose as an administrative building and is now waiting for a new use. The bachelor's thesis of the restoration of the town hall in Hostěradice is based on the requirements of the building owner, the analyses carried out on the site and the spatial limits that the building and the area under consideration allow. Based on this input, a concept is developed that combines historical and modern building layers into a coherent solution and brings new cultural and social life to the building. The use of the Town Hall premises are designed with the size and needs of the community in mind. The proposed spaces are multifunctional and will allow for a variety of indoor and outdoor cultural events. Commercially rentable studios and service spaces including sanitary facilities are also part of the solution. The bachelor's thesis also includes a focus on the urban context of the town hall, improving the building's structural and technical performance and achieving a unified expression of the building using modern elements. The town hall aims to become a cultural centre of the village that retains its historical value.
Sport hall and its facilities for the elementary school Hudcova 35, Brno

The subject of the thesis is the design of the SPORTS HALL AND ITS FACILITIES FOR THE PRIMARY SCHOOL HUDCOVA 35, BRNO. The diploma thesis directly follows on from the developed urban planning study from subject AG056 - Pre-diploma project. The elaborated architectural study deals with the object of the sports hall and its facilities serving primarily elementary school students, fans of recreational sports, but also the general public. The addressed area is located in the Brno-Medlánky district. The building plot is spread over a slightly sloping terrain. The plot itself is currently surrounded by mostly flat fields, pastures and a historical park. The study of the sports hall, as well as the urban study of the territory, respects the surrounding terrain and the natural character of the landscape. It simultaneously recognizes pedestrian and traffic communication directions and connections to the immediate surroundings. The proposed hall together with the background, a tribune for 300 spectators, a multifunctional hall and a clubhouse with a buffet has the shape of a pure block cut into the terrain. It uses materials such as wood, glass and concrete. It consists of 3 floors and an entrance mezzanine. The balance between the proposed sports hall, the expression of respect for the current natural scenery and terrain relief is taken into account in the architectural expression of the entire object.
Lithyalin and glazed glass of Friedrich Egermann and Buquoy Hyalit glass - a phenomenon of the Biedermeier and the Second Rococo era in the Czech lands.

This thesis examines a specific part of the Czech glass production from twenties to forties of the 19th century. It focuses specifically on the production of glassworks at Novohradsko in South Bohemia where the black and red hyalit glass was been made. Next it examines the works of glass technologist Bedřich Egermann in Polevsko and (Nový) Bor, where he rediscovered and implemented the production of glaze refined glass and also discovered and made the first lithyalin glass. These new made or rediscovered technological methods reflected the change of taste in the Biedermeier and Second Rococo era when the glass production in the Czech lands has reached world class. Not only that it could cope with current English and French production, but it surpassed them in many regards. Producing opaque and glazed glass was a significant deed that contributed to increasing the reputation of already great Czech glassmaking in this era. Development of lightweight composites based on foam glass aggregate

Bachelor´s thesis is concerned of development of bonding foam glass with organic binders. The theoretical part describes the use of recycled glass to produce aggregates based on foam glass. It also describes its production, properties and use in construction. The work also focuses on the types of organic binders and their properties. In the practical part, the optimal ratio between the binder and the filler is proposed and the subsequent assessment of the required properties of the final composite.
The building, Přístavní street, Praha 7

The subject of this Diploma Thesis is newly built polyfunctional building in the Prague – Holešovice. Building land is slightly sloping. The building will be followed by the surrounding buildings. The building consists of seven floors. The floor underground technical spaces and collective garages. On the ground floor are two commercial spaces and reception. In the second to fifth floor are office space. The top floor is a penthouse with terraces. The building is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton accompanied by a facade wall and the wall forming the core. The core consists of a elevator and a staircase. Floor slabs is continuous reinforced concrete slab with capitals. The façade of the building is divided by pilasters, stone cladding. Root at the penthouse is composed of a terrace with vegetation. Ground floor consists of shop windows with sun screens. All designs are in accordance to the valid ČSN code.

The content of the work is the design of the transfer terminal in Dvůr Králové nad Labem, which combines bus and train transport. This way, a new public meeting space for passengers has been created and is being solved complexly throughout the block. The newly established communications form an imaginary axis parallel to the surrounding roads, heading for the city center and is aimed primarily at reviving the city.
