Psychohygiene of a paramedic

This study focuses on the psychohygiene of emergency medical responders, aiming to understand the professional demands on their mental health and well-being. The work analyzed stress factors, burnout syndrome, and mental health, examining the influence of stress on individuals and the importance of mental hygiene and self-care. The main objective was to ascertain the perception of psychological demands among emergency medical responders in prehospital care. The theoretical part of the study addresses issues of mental disorders, the influence of stress, and its effects on emergency medical responders. The practical section sought answers to predetermined hypotheses through research. The research was based on a questionnaire survey distributed among emergency medical responders. Based on the findings, it was observed that many responders experience stressful situations related to their work, which can have a negative impact on their mental health and well-being. We found no significant difference in the perception of psychological demands between genders. There was no difference in the perception of psychological demands based on length of practice. We also identified various activities that emergency medical responders engage in for their mental hygiene. The results indicate that providing support for stress management and mental health care is crucial for emergency medical responders in their professional lives. The conclusions of this study may contribute to a better understanding of responders' needs and the support of their mental health and well-being in the workplace. In the conclusion of the bachelor's thesis, in addition to summarizing the research results and evaluating the fulfillment of objectives, recommendations for current practice among emergency medical responders are provided. These recommendations are derived from the findings and can serve as a practical guide for improving the care of mental health among emergency medical responders in their professional environment.
Psychohygiene and stress amongst social workers

The work deals with the psychohygiene and stress among social workers, which affects them during the course of their work. The theoratical part characterizes the work of a social worker, its content and methods of social work. It also describes the psychological strain in the form of stress, frustration, conflict and burnout syndrome, which may occur under the heavy influence of aforementioned burdens. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the rules and means of psychohygiene that can be used in social work. The practical part contains research, which is carried out using a semi-structured interview with 5 female respondents who have been working in the social field for more than 10 years. The research is focused on the effect of the demands placed on workers during the performance of their work, on the awareness of psychohygiene of their means and possible prevention against stress, workload and burnout syndrome.
Staff stress in a specific youth home; its causes and subsequent solutions

The bachelor thesis deals with the stress of educators at a particular youth home and the mechanisms of coping with the stress of these educators. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis describes the concept of stress, stress management mechanisms, psychohygiene, pedagogy and youth home. The research brings the testimonies and experiences of one tutor and two tutoresses. The aim of the research is to point out the psychological demands of this profession and to inform the public about it. It is a qualitative pilot study in which the data were obtained by using unstructured interviews and processed by thematic analysis.
Mother of a preschool child in the role of a kindergarten teacher

The aim of this study is to investigate how women who are mothers of children aged between two and seven years and are also kindergarten teachers cope with the demands of both life roles. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part contains chapters that deal with the history of pre-school teachers and the changes in motherhood in a historical context, teaching in kindergarten and motherhood today, the demands of both roles, the psychological and physical problems to which both mothers and teachers are prone, and the different ways and options for psychological hygiene. The practical part presents the results of the research investigation, which was carried out by quantitative research, specifically by questionnaire method. The following research problem was set: According to kindergarten teachers, what is the impact of motherhood on their professional life? The research sample consisted of kindergarten teachers who have a child or children between the ages of two and seven and who were also kindergarten teachers prior to their own motherhood.

This bachelor is concerned with burnout syndrome in secondary school teachers. The aim was to characterize burnout syndrome, to interpret its causes and risks, and to think about the prevalence of this syndrome among teachers working in secondary schools. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is based on professional sources and thus provides information and knowledge about the issue. The empirical part describes the research investigation and the results obtained regarding the burnout rate of secondary vocational school and apprenticeship teachers. The research is based on a quantitative approach and is therefore carried out using a questionnaire survey.

The Bachelor thesis "Awareness of healthy lifestyle balance for secondary school pupils" focuses on healthy lifestyle and its important components, containing a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the concept of a healthy lifestyle is defined and the essential aspects important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle are clarified. The practical part includes a questionnaire investigation which was carried out at the SSC to establish pupils' awareness and adherence to healthy lifestyles. A recommendation for teaching experience is given at the end of the work.
Mental hygiene as a burnout prevention of counseling staff

The thesis deals with the issue of mental hygiene as a burnout prevention of counselling staff working in counselling for family, marriage and human relations. It is focused on psychologists and social workers. The first part deals with the issues related to the counselling and requirements for counselling staff, as well as the specifics and risks associated with the profession, and the clientele that comes to counselling. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the issues of burnout syndrome and mental hygiene related to the profession of counselling staff. The second part of the diploma thesis is processed in the form of empirical explorative research which aim was to map the issue of mental hygiene as a prevention of burnout syndrome among counselling staff, specifically psychologists and social workers working in the counselling for the family, marriage and human relations. It was found out that the counseling staff perceive as the most burdensome administrative and organizational components of their work and unmotivated or difficult clients. On the contrary they are most enriched with the diversity and variety of client stories, meeting with clients and feeling of their meaningfulness.
