Derflová, Lenka ; Plevová, Kristýna (advisor) ; Weissová, Eliška (referee)
Name: Lenka Derflová Supervisor: Ing. Kristýna Plevová Title: Using the principles of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization in patients with scoliosis Abstract: The bachelor's thesis deals with the problem of idiopathic scoliosis in adults, treatment options and physiotherapeutic approaches with a strong focus on Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS). The bachelor's thesis aims to design a therapeutic unit with elements based on the principles of DNS, application of the unit and subsequent evaluation of the therapeutic procedure and benefits for patients. The theoretical part of the thesis describes scoliosis, its classification, examination and therapeutic options, then the concept of DNS, its principles, application and testing, and finally a special examination focused on scoliosis and the condition of the deep spinal stabilization system (DSSS). The practical part consists of two case studies, including an initial and an output kinesiological examination and a physiotherapeutic intervention. The final comprehensive exit examination after six months of therapy and home exercise shows positive changes in some postural and motor aspects in the patients. The most significant improvements were noted in the areas of DSSS involvement and function, trunk stabilization, postural stability, balance and...

OF BACHELOR THESIS Author: Kamil Bušek Supervisor: Ing. Eva Kejhová Title of bachelor thesis: Comparison of physiotherapy approach with other conservative approaches in the treatment of lateral epicondylitis Abstract: This bachelor thesis is observing the differences in comparison of the physiotherapy approach with other conservative treatment options for lateral epicondylitis in acute and chronic conditions. The work is processed by the search method and consists of theoretical and special parts. The theoretical part deals with a description of anatomical structures, kinesiology, biomechanics and examination of the elbow joint as a whole. Other chapters are focused on the problematic of the lateral epicondylitis, which describe the etiology, clinical picture of acute and chronic forms, differential diagnosis, examination and treatment, where the emphasis is mainly on the conservative methods. The special part of this thesis is written on the basis of the results of literature research with the focus on finding the studies that are comparing a treatment of chronic and acute forms of the lateral epicondylitis. The thesis describes and compares the usuals physiotherapeutic methods such as mobilization, manipulation, eccentric and concentric exercises or kinesiotaping, as well as frequently used...
Conservative treatment of proximal humerus fractures in elderly people - literary research
Holubová, Šárka ; Šorfová, Monika (advisor) ; Malá, Jitka (referee)
Title: Conservative treatment of proximal humerus fractures in the elderly: literature review Objectives: The aim of this thesis is a search processing mostly foreign available sources in the field of proximal humerus fractures in the elderly. The analyzed studies focus on the effectiveness of early therapy using early mobilization and also on the aspects that lead to the persistence of problems related to this diagnosis in the elderly. These studies are evaluated and compared on the basis of theoretical knowledge of the issue. The purpose of this work is to obtain an up-to-date overview of the issue and to present evidence of the effectiveness of this type of treatment. Methods: The diploma thesis is processed in the form of a literary research. The sources were researched in the PubMed, PEDro, MEDLINE, EBSCOhost, Scopus and Web of Science databases. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical introduction to the issue of aging and related changes, it also focuses on fractures of the proximal humerus and their treatment. The second part of the work has a descriptive - analytical character and contains an analysis of selected studies that focus on the evaluation of early therapy after fractures of the proximal humerus. Results: At the end of the search, 6 studies focusing on early therapy...

Thesis Title: Post-operative physiotherapeutic intervention and management after proximal femur hemiarthroplasty, in elderly patient. Author: Panagiotis Savvopoulos Work placement: Ustředni Vojenská Nemocnice, Prague, 1200/1, 16200, Praha 6. Název práce: Pooperační fyziotherapeutická péče a terapie pacienta vyššího věku po hemiarthroplastice proximálniho femuru. Summary The aim of this dissertation is to demonstrate, analyse and evaluate a case study of post operative physiotherapeutic intervention and management after proximal femoral hemiarthroplasty, in elderly patient. This dissertation which was written and composed by myself is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the special. The first part describes all the anatomical structures of the hip joint including bones, joints, and soft tissue as well as neural and blood supply structures. The theoretical part also analyzes in depth from a biomechanical and kinesiology perspective the function of the hip joint and injury mechanisms in respect to a fracture event or age associated pathologies. The special part is devoted to describe the medical history of my patient together with a detail report which clarifies all the applied procedures including initial and final examinations, daily assessments, therapies, conclusions, and data analysis of...

ESWT in Achilles tendinopathy
Hojková, Lýdie ; Demeková, Júlia (advisor) ; Havlíčková, Michaela (referee)
Achilles tendinopathy is a painful condition formed by chronic overuse. Conservative treatement requires activity modification, heel lifts, arch supports, even immobilisation. There are often unsatisfactory results with it. The use of ESWT has recently been introduced in soft-tissue disorders including epicondylitis, plantar fasciitis, calcifitation of the shloulder and, as well, Achilles tendinopathy. The aim of the work was to introduce the effects of ESWT on soft tissues, types of generation and new posibilities in ESWT therapy in Achilles tendinopathy. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
