The role of civic and personal development education in the time of experimentation with personal and sexual identity

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of sexual and gender identity of children and adolescents. It researches the education of children and adolescents with a different gender identity from a philosophical, psychological and sociological point of view and further the role of teachers, parents and society as a whole. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part contains chapters devoted to education and upbringing of children and adolescents with a different gender identity, new perspective on gender identity and the support of individual trans. The practical part focuses on a study that examines the attitude of teachers, parents and students towards transgender issues. he aim of the practical part is to map the level of respect for differences from the point of view of teachers, parents and pupils at one secondary vocational school in a district town in the Central Bohemian Region, and further map the views from abroad of three secondary vocational schools. Quality of life of Children in Orphanages with School and youth Detention Centres

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis describes topics related to institutional care in the Czech Republic, quality of life, individual models and measurements. The conclusion of the theoretical thesis is devoted to the social worker in institutional care, what prerequisites he/she must meet and what is the fulfilment of his/her work. The aim of the practical part was to find out the quality of life of children and adolescents in children's homes with school and educational institutions. In order to fulfill the objective, a quantitative research strategy was selected and implemented on the basis of the standardized questionnaire KIDSCREEN-27. The research was conducted in 5 institutions located in the territory of the South Bohemia Region, the Vysočina Region and the Central Bohemia Region. A total of 35 respondents participated in the research. The data were subsequently analyzed in MS Excel charts. A total of 3 hypotheses were established. The first hypothesis examined whether physical activity has a positive effect on children's quality of life. Based on a comparison of individual results, the hypothesis was not confirmed. Hypothesis 2 looked at whether the children's friends, have an effect on their quality of life. This hypothesis was also not confirmed according to the results. The last hypothesis examined whether parents negatively affect children's quality of life. After comparing the results, it was found that the hypothesis was not confirmed. This bachelor thesis can serve the general public as well as the professional public, who in this way can gain insight into the issue of institutional education and get an overview of how children live in these institutions. The thesis is also a useful insight into this issue for the reason that not much is said about children's homes with schooling and educational institutions and not much research is conducted on it, as just for example on traditional children's homes.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to determine the current state of health and safety at work in schools or educational institutions, to show the causes of health and safety issues. As an employer, the school has a duty to ensure the health and safety of its employees including educational institutions for the children, pupils and students of the school. There was a research in the form of a questionnaire survey which was focused on the knowledge of employees in occupational health and safety. The intention of the research is to eliminate the threats and imperfections that endanger participants in education. The conclusion of bachelor's thesis is an evaluation of the research results and recommendations to improve occupational safety techniques of the teaching staff.
Educational needs of kindergartens headmasters in Prague

The bachelor thesis deals with the educational needs of nursery school headmasters in Prague. The aim was to find out the contemporary educational needs of the stated group of leading workers and compare them with topical educational offers on the territory of the capital city of Prague. Theoretical part comes from the professional literature concerning the nowadays pre-school available educational and other sources and others. Researching part was based on questionnaire studies and its further analysis. The result is to create the whole side of further education of nursery school headmasters concerning their demands. At the end of the bachelor thesis the headmasters' interests of further school management education are confirmed and the time limited possibilities of headmasters are pointed out. The author of the thesis also shows the inadequate educational offers and the lack of wrong adjustment of the whole system of managerial education in our educational system.
Educational Needs of Managers of Kindergartens in the Central Bohemian Region

4 ABSTRACT: The bachelor thesis deals with identifying educational needs of managers of kindergartens in Central Bohemian Region and educational opportunities in Central Bohemia and Prague. The aim of this research was to find those needs, monitor managers' level of satisfaction with current educational opportunities in the region. It also searched for a dependence of the priorities of the educational needs on the amount of years spent in the leading position. The scientific literature is presented in the theoretical part of this work. It also provides an overview of the current status of pre-school education and legal requirements for the job. The key point of the research is based on a survey among managers of kindergartens of the Central Bohemian Region and its subsequent analysis. The survey results lead to the creation of a plastic view at the educational opportunities for the managers in the context with their educational needs. The final part of this work presents the results of investigations to confirm managers' interest in further education. Furthermore, it shows their satisfaction with educational options in the context of their needs and the results of the investigation that do not confirm the dependence of the selection of educational areas on the number of years spent in a leading position....
Activity of the Congregation of Sisters of Mercy of St. Charles Borromeo in České Budějovice. The lifestory of a black and white flower of the city

The dissertation deals with the historical activities of the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Charles Borromeo in České Budějovice between the years 1850 - 1956. The thesis is especially based on the study of archival materials. Each chapter comprehensively describes the history of the three branches where the religious Sisters performed their activities. The branches are listed in chronological order of when they were established in the city. A public hospital is mentioned first, followed by an institutional complex of orphanages and schools at the former Vienna gate, and the group is concluded with an asylum for elderly people in need established in 1888. Particular attention is paid to the circumstances concerning the establishment of each branch, its background, ordinary and extraordinary days that were mostly mentioned in local chronicles; and two local superiors who had a major impact on the development and character of the community are also mentioned in the dissertation. The thesis is focused on the possibilities in the management of the intergenerational programmes. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the issue of intergenerational learning from the point of view of the management of educational institutions and to create a proposal of methodology for intergenerational programs management. The first part discusses the management in general, educational management and the characterization and classification of educational institutions and the scope of non-profit organizations. It also deals with lifelong learning and defines intergenerational learning as one of its forms. It deals with the categorization of intergenerational learning and the definition of its linkage in formal, non-formal and informal learning.
