Analysis of prices in the construction industry in recent years
Papoušek, Lukáš ; Hanák, Tomáš (referee) ; Tuscher, Martin (advisor)
The Bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of trends in the prices of apartments, houses, and construction materials in the Czech Republic over the past ten years. This analysis examines how macroeconomic conditions, legislative changes, and significant economic events have influenced these prices, thereby providing a deeper understanding of the dynamics and dependencies in the construction sector. The results of the analysis provide a deeper understanding of the dynamics and dependencies of prices in various areas of construction and can serve as a valuable basis for the strategic decision-making of construction companies, developers, investors, political and economic decision-makers. The thesis thus contributes to a broader understanding of price trends in construction and their impact on the overall economy.
Evaluation of the real condition of the existing building from the structural point of view
Rybanská, Lenka ; Stehlík, Michal (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis evaluates the real condition of an existing building from a structural perspective. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current state of the building, identify potential problems, and propose appropriate solutions for its repair and improvement. The work focuses on a detailed diagnosis of the building, including the examination of materials used, construction techniques, and existing damages. Based on the collected data, recommendations are formulated for further steps to ensure the long-term durability and safety of the building.
Assessing the Environmental Consequences of Phosphate Emissions in Civil Engineering Projects and Their Inclusion in the Lifecycle Costs of Buildings
Federla, Jakub
Eutrophication, characterized by rising levels of nitrogen and phosphorus, poses a significant risk to biodiversity. In civil engineering, the contribution of phosphate emissions to this process has been insufficiently addressed and requires detailed examination. This study evaluates both the environmental and economic impacts of phosphate emissions in civil engineering, with a focus on their integration into the lifecycle costs of buildings. Detailed analysis of 17 residential buildings in the South Moravian Region has quantified environmental harm, establishing an economic cost of 5000 €/t for PO43-. Environmental damage caused by phosphate emissions was monitored throughout the construction and operational phases of the residential buildings. The research reveals that the ratio of annual operating costs to external societal costs varies from 1% to 11%. Furthermore, the research reveals that annual negative externalities per square metre due to phosphate emissions fluctuated between 4.99 €/m² and 0.19 €/m². These higher externalities also correlate with increased annual operating costs per square metre. Variations were primarily attributed to the characteristics of the building envelope, construction materials, and energy sources. These findings underscore the need for incorporating ecological costs into fiscal planning, highlighting the importance of sustainable construction practices in mitigating environmental impacts.
Study of the effect of construction materials on the thermal stability of the low-energy buildings
Mikeš, Vít ; Skříček, Darek (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the study of the impact of the construction materials on heat stability of the low-energy buildings. The study aims at comparison of heating and energetic sings for three different material versions of the construction solution of a house.
Solution technology of machining of part in the conditions of middle company.
Šašinka, Ondřej ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Evaluation and comparison of existing process-selected components to a modernized variant, which is focused primarily at reducing engineering time and expansion of production facilities with respect to cooperating companies. First introduced to the company and its scope, after machining, at the end of the technological documentation for the proposed manufacturing process and its evaluation.

Handmade unburnt bricks
Novotný, Martin ; Všianský, Dalibor
The submitted methodology offers an instruction for the simplest ever production of unburnt bricks. This production uses bottom-less moulds; the bricks are shaped on the ground and after the mould is removed, they are sun-dried in the place in which they were made. The aim is to make a clear instruction that allows to make high-quality building elements intended especially for replicas of historic buildings at open-air museums. After getting necessary skills, the submitted description of the building procedure is very effective within the hand-made production.

Modern Sacral Architecture.
PODROUŽKOVÁ, Petra
The thesis deals with European sacral architecture of the twentieth and the twenty-first century. Particularly, it refers to Judaic, Roman-Catholic and Islamic buildings. The second part puts into historical context the sacral constructions of individual religions including their function, characters and typology. In the third part of this thesis the representative sample of significant modern sacral constructions is selected, always under circumstances regarding their creation, the urban description and the setting in a specific location as well as the architectural layout, the interior arrangment and a possible use of special technological procedures at their construction. The mutual comparison and the evaluation of the modern European sacral architecture development are carried out in the fourth part. This section notices the function and the usage of light and presents some extraordinary buildings from this point of view. The final fifth part tries to answer the question, how a modern temple should look like.
Marketing strategies and their aplication on the czech market of building products with focus on buying behaviour on the market of roofing materials
Joura, Vítězslav ; Chalupský, Vladimír (advisor) ; Koráb, Vojtěch (referee) ; Kutnar, Vít (referee)
This thesis deals with marketing used on the Czech market of roofing products and with all aspects of consumers' behavior during the choosing and roofing of the roof. Czech roofing market is a global mixture of many inter-relations among different distribution channels on the production and selling part on one hand and specifying and installing part on the other hand. The thesis deals with also all parts of the 4P and 4C models used by producers of roofing materials and with 4P model of other distribution channels -- resellers and installers. Quantitative survey on roofers and qualitative survey on roofers and resellers of roofing materials confirmed, that roofer is the closest professional to investor while his decision process. As such, he has big influence on his decision and is able to change his mind and final decision. Local presence of the reseller is crucial for the buying of goods at the respective point of sale. There are differences in used roofing materials depending on the region of the Czech Republic. The difference could be given by historical habit, or by influence and knowledge of the brand of roofing material in the respective region or by technical performance of the roofing material, which is requested due to weather conditions in respective parts of the country. All distribution channels on the Czech roofing market use marketing methods to achieve their goals by selling roofing products and with it linked services.
