Cryptographic algorithms for low-power IoT devices
Oszelda, Matěj ; Dobiáš, Patrik (referee) ; Dzurenda, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis analyses the possibilities of application of operating systems, cryptographic libraries and their primitives in memory, performance and computationally constrained IoT environment. It then implements selected tools for securing communication in a system with constrained IoT devices. The theoretical part discusses the IoT, the different operating systems and cryptographic libraries in this environment. It then presents the measurement and comparison of cryptographic libraries and their primitives. Based on the measurements, it selects tools for implementation in securing the communication of IoT devices. It then creates a design and implements the system.
Stress recognition using biological signals measured by wearable devices
Surkoš, Ondřej ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
With the growing importance of mental health in society and the increasing availability of wearable technology, biological signals offer a unique opportunity to monitor and manage stress in everyday life. The diploma thesis focuses on the automatic stress recognition of biological signals measured by wearable devices. Therefore, in the theoretical part, key terms related to stress and wearable devices are defined and selected biological signals relevant for stress detection are described. The work also presents several publicly available datasets and describes current stress recognition methods, together with the achieved results. The practical part of the work is devoted to the construction of the dataset, data preprocessing and the development of an algorithm for recognizing stress in the MATLAB program environment. In particular, machine learning techniques are used both for feature extraction and selection, as well as for the classics themselves. The performance of the proposed models, which reached an accuracy of up to 81.1 % in the case of the unified dataset, 97.1 % in the case of the WESAD dataset and 80 % in the case of the Non-EEG Biosignals dataset, are presented and discussed in the final part of the work, together with by finding a great influence of the methodology and the equipment used during data acquisition on the performance of individual models.
Prediction of future air quality
Roháček, Adam ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
This thesis explores the prediction of future air quality as a critical aspect of environmental health and sustainable development. With the increasing concerns over air pollution and its detrimental effects on human health and the environment, there is a growing need for accurate forecasting techniques to anticipate and mitigate potential air quality issues. This thesis introduces the reader to the topic of air pollution, describes the usage of prediction algorithms and evaluates quality of the own algorithm.
Creation of a program code for evaluation and display of inner resultants in beams
Kupka, Jiří ; Horníková, Jana (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
The work is aimed at solution of problem with evaluating the values and courses of resulting inner effects. The goal is to algorithmize the calculation and its graphic interpretation. The main mphasis was on the correctness of numerical results and their correct depiction. Integral approach of olution and its logorithmization was chosen as suitable calculating model for given task. The algorithmus of the program itself was written in programming language C++. Thereinafter the basis of the sphere of tress and strain analysis in beams, the knowledge of which is neccessary for the given solution of the roblem or it is presumed.
Multilayer neural network
Kačer, Petr ; Klusáček, Jan (referee) ; Jirsík, Václav (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis describes the basics of issue of multilayer neural networks and explains principle of backpropagation algorithm. Next part of thesis is about development of a software for learning and testing multilayer neural networks and describes its graphical user interface. Last part of thesis is dedicated to tutorial examples and practical demonstrations of multilayer neural network usage.
Sudoku - algorithmization of solution
Buchta, Martin ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
In this paper, we present an overview of techniques that can be used by people to solve a Sudoku Puzzle. The individual algorithms were theoretically described using real tasks and were implemented on this basis to appropriate graphical user interface in Matlab with the possibility of webcam task loading.
Sorting algorithms
Schwarz, Jakub ; Smrž, Jaroslav (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor)
Enormous volume of data, which has been processed during production operations, requires easy orientation and quick searching. Exact search in real time is essential for success. Correct and quick data-sorting is one of the most important activity during dataprocessing. The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is background research of sorting algorithms. To achieve the goal, basic concepts of sorting theory will be described (determined) and there will be division of sorting algorithms by different criterions. For each algorithm of internal array sorting, sorting principles will be described and analysis of efficiency will be provided. The results will be verified by experimental program.
Scene Analysis Based on the 2D Images
Hejtmánek, Martin ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis deals with an object surface analysis in a simple scene represented by two-dimensional raster image. It summarizes the most common methods used within this branch of information technology and explains both their advantages and drawbacks. It introduces the design of an surface profile analysis algorithm based on the lighting analysis using knowledge and experiences from previous work. It contains a detailed description of the implemented algorithm and discusses the experimental results. It also brings up options for the possible enhancement of the projected algorithm.
Do alternative search engines comparable to Google exist?
