This diploma thesis focuses on the problem of machinery safety. Aim of this thesis was to elaborate the analysis and to choose the pivot elements for sorting data in the database for risk analysis. Next aims was to make the structure of the database and to create SW modules of application for machinery risk assessment.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to present the institute of work inspection with a focus on Civil Engineering. Another focus is to present health and safety coordinator in relation with the institute of work inspection. I would like to draw from practical experience gained at work so I will visit construction sites with a coordinator and an inspector from the institute and consequently I will try to evaluate these inspections. At the end of the thesis I will focus on risk precautions where I will apply one method with which I will solve a practical example.

The theoretical part describes the origin and definition of risk, risk classification, sources and methods of risk management and risk reduction. The practical part is focused on a particular contract, in the particular construction company. This project presents a practical approach and risk management solutions with suggestions for preventive measures to eliminate risk factors.

Its task is to introduce the basic rules and requirements of quality management, occupational safety, health and fire protection in construction industry. The second part of the thesis deals with quality management, occupational safety, health and fire protection in construction companies, which are presented and analyzed in detail. These findings are then applied to create methodology of implementing the occupational safety, health and fire protection management system for construction companies.

Risk Management inside Construction Company

The aim of the thesis is to analyse issues of risk management in a construction company, especially in the context of construction contracts implementation. The first part is devoted to applied terminology and interpretation of relevant terms, followed by a classification of risks from different perspectives, including the risks’ possible further sub classification. Furthermore, significant risk resources and construction participants who might be affected by the risks are presented. The third chapter deals with risk management; individual phases of this complex process are described herein, including their correct sequences, as well as a selection of methods and techniques that are standardly used in risk management. The last, fourth chapter summarises the problems of risk management on a practical example, where a construction company implements a construction contract by applying selected risk management methodologies.

THE AIM OF MY THESIS ON THE TOPIC OF "RISK MANAGEMENT CONTRACTOR CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS" IS TO DESCRIBE THE PROCESS OF RISK MANAGEMENT OF CONTRACTOR CONSTRUCTIONS WORK. THIS PROCESS BEGINS WITH THE IDENTIFICATION OF RISKS BY USING DIFFERENT METHODS. FOLLOWED BY ANALYSIS OF THESE RISKS. THE MAIN GROUP OF RISKS ARE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUBCONTRACTING SYSTEM. THESE RISKS I WILL DESCRIBE THEIR SIGNALS AND TRIGGERS. ON THE BASIS OF THEIR IMPORTANCE TO THE PROJECT, I WILL DEFINE THE MANNER OF THEIR TREATMENT. IN THE LAST PART IS A PROPOSAL OF A MONITORING RISKS, WHERE I SUGGEST A WAY, WHO WILL LOOK AFTER THE RISKS DURING THE CONSTRUCTION AND WHEN.
Risk analysis of siphon pipes

The master’s thesis discusses siphon pipes that are used to collect groundwater. The goal of work is to define the most frequent undesired events that may appear on siphon pipes, and verifying the individual springs. The work is addressed in accordance with the metodology of risk analysis WaterRisk. The content of the work is a summary of the hydraulic of siphon pipes and their use in practice, hazard identification, defining the most frequent undesired events and consequences on siphon pipes, and their verification in the spring in a particular case study.

Safety of manipulator model

The work deals with the functional safety of machinery, in our case with the model of the 3D manipulator. The main contribution of this work is the detailed conduct a risk assessment in accordance with the valid legislation and the detailed design of safety components to meet the safety requirements. Protective measures are carried out by three steps. The work includes a description of the implemented measures, mainly change of the design and creation a SafetyTask for the PLC. Also the visualization for a touch panel was created. At the end of the work we had to verify and evaluate implemented safety measures.
