Čapek, Jan ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Chocholatý, Drahomír (referee)
The objective of bachelor's thesis is to find out, how to make graphic design of mobile applications. Thesis has two parts. At the beginning is described growth of mobile application market and terms about mobile devices. After this thesis describes, what is mobile application, identify difference between native applications and mobile web sites. Last section of teoretical part is about approaches how to design mobile applications. The second part is practical. There are chosen three applications, which will be tested, if their graphic design was created well. In case graphic design is not created well, there will be made solution, which removes lacks in graphic design of application. There will be also evaluated hypothesis, if graphic designers are making user friendly applications.
Development of mobile applications for Android platform in Java programming language
Uchytil, Petr ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
In the bachelor thesis the basics of application programming for the Android operating system are described. In this work Java programming language is used for programming. In the opening part of the thesis the structure of the Android operating system is briefly described. In the following chapters the typical architecture of android applications is explained. Particular components present in almost any Android application are described. The text in the next chapters deals with creation of graphical user interface and persistence. At the end of each chapter comparison with the Java SE platform is given. Finally, a practical application is presented.

Mobile reporting platform market analysis
Grund, Michal ; Novotný, Ota (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
Nowadays, decision-making is not only made in the office with a PC. With a dramatic increase of mobile devices (such as smartphones and tablets) and internet access, the approach to reaching and delivering key, strategic data has changed over the last decade. The diploma thesis analyses the market of business intelligence platforms, dedicated for mobile devices, by comparing selected vendors in this segment. The first, theoretically oriented chapters focus on explaining the key concepts of business intelligence and mobile business intelligence and appropriate context, especially the growing market of mobile devices and internet access availability. Furthermore, the theoretical part is followed by a list of criteria, amongst which will selected platforms be compared. These criteria include not only a user view, but also a technical view of the compared products -- IBM, MicroStrategy, SAP and Oracle. Two methods are used to evaluate the best product. The first comparison is based on average scores gained across all criteria, while the second method applied is a pairwise comparison. The following, practically oriented chapter contains a step-by-step user guide of downloading, installing, configuring and especially the process of creating and deploying reports and documents suited directly for mobile devices, such as the iPad. The whole process is described for the winning platform MicroStrategy, which not only earned the highest scores, but also won the pairwise comparison over all other platforms. This thesis serves as basic orientation in the young market of business intelligence platforms enhanced with dedicated modules for mobile devices and carries a recommendation for one of them to select.
Augmented reality
Jecha, Jakub ; Jandoš, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
This thesis is focused on a technology called Augmented reality, especially on its use in marketing. The main objective of the thesis is to define why this technology is a suitable tool for marketing and to assess its use in real conditions. This is achieved by defining specific devices and use cases of this technology in practice, whereas evaluation of its use in real enviroment is based on statistics. The contribution of the thesis is objective evaluation of this technology and provision of data, sufficient to make a decision by individual or company, whether to use the technology in marketing or not. In first part of the thesis, emphasis is put on accurate evaluation of the technology, both from theoretical and practical point of view. The effort is to provide enough specific examples and statistics data to a reader. Second part is dedicated to testing of specific applications, which use augmented reality as a marketing tool.
Mobile devices in ERP
Hrubeš, Jan ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with support employee's mobility in ERP systems. In the opening it describes contemporary trends in the use of mobile devices in companies, followed by overview of basic functionality, which is essential for deploying those devices in the enterprise environment. Next part is focused on the integration of mobile devices into enterprise architecture. It consists of description, how the information from identified ERP modules is made available for mobile devices. New activities are connected with mobile device integration, especially security and management. Therefore several options covering these activities are mentioned in this thesis. Last part provides study of company Diskus spol. s r.o., where two problems are being discussed - low support for field workers and missing security policies for mobile devices. Last contribution is the comparison of support for mobile devices in ERP systems from the selected Czech providers (ABRA Gx, Byznys ERP, Helios Orange, K2, Karat and Premier System).
3D model of a town with the use for mobile device
MACHT, Petr
Because the mobile equipment like PDA, Smartphone, GPS navigation and incoming tablets show in present time expressive technical progress for its entire existence, increasing demands are submited by theirs users. Current state of these mobile equipment and it´s developement for near future will be described in following work. Bachelor thesis deals with an effective use of 3-D models of towns in these mobile equipments. It focuses on the right choice of optimal technology for making these models and resulting export to different formats, which are supported by a given mobile device. In work there are described both the requirements on a given format and the requirements on hardware and software of mobile equipment. The next objective of the work it is to create digital fotorealistic model of chosen historical part of the Český Krumlov town.
Component framework for web application development
Staniševský, Jiří ; Kosek, Jiří (advisor) ; Prskavec, Ladislav (referee)
The aim of this work was to design and implement component framework for development of web applications written in PHP programming language. The design has been based on pros and cons analysis of component framework usage, existing framework solution comparison and analysis of drawbacks of these frameworks. End-user device independence is both the main requirement for this framework and also its greatest contribution to the field of web frameworks. To be able to generate different output for mobile and desktop devices and to keep the application logic at one place only, thus minimizing the amount of work required from the developer, it uses its own original implementation of Model-View-Controller architecture. The output is being generated by so called rendering objects associated with individual components. Applications based on this framework are purely event driven, thus having their code more readable and manageable. Framework tries to offer comfortable usage of web applications for mobile device users without forcing application developers to create additional versions of their applications.o tato zařízení.

Švejda, P. ; Grepl, Robert ; Kratochvíl, Ctirad ; Vlachý, D. ; Zezula, P.
This paper deals with modeling, simulations and experimental testing of inverted pendulum-like robotic mobile device with coaxial wheel arrangement. Design of simulation model, its verication and control design by using MATLAB environment will be mentioned. Further, an assemblage of a real laboratory model and realtime control from MATLAB Real Time Toolbox is introduced.
Mobile banking applications based on Java technology
Barák, Pavel ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Paulíková, Anna (referee)
This thesis addresses the issue of mobile banking and analyzes applications, which provides mobile banking services. Aim of this thesis is to compare individual applications and analyze different approaches of applications based on Java technologies. Structure of this thesis is divided into four main parts. First part describes composition of bank services. It defines traditional and direct banking and points out differences between both concepts. Then it tries to show the position of mobile banking within the hierarchy of the bank. Second part gives detailed information about mobile banking itself. There is a research of current mobile banking situation on Czech market in the third part. This research includes products comparison and assessment. The last part focuses on presenting principles and problems of development on mobile phones through Java and then it analyzes these Java solutions in practice. The main contribution of this thesis is to provide information for companies or banks that choose to implement their own new mobile banking solution. Then this thesis should serve as initial analysis, which defines key parts of banking applications and how they should be properly processed. It could help to create efficient and successful mobile banking solution.
