Posibilities for Tourism Development in the Pilsen Region - project Jiný svět

This thesis is oriented on the development of tourism in the Pilsen region. The aim was to create a concept for the planned rebuilding of a cottage on the guesthouse and restaurant in the village Jarov in this region. This concept includes a market analysis and competition, defining technical, technological, financial requirements and determination of its overall contribution to tourism in the region. Also included is the current estate of tourism mainly in the southern part of the Pilsen region, which will by for this project also very important.

The subject of this bachelor thesis is creation of business plan on restaurant in Ceske Budejovice. The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is about basic terms, general description and structure of business concept. The theoretical part also summarizes methods for assesing the investment anvantages and the analysis of break-even point. In practical part there is written the complete business plan of Rennie's restaurant which is planned to be open in Lannova street in Ceske Budejovice. The practical part deals with specific business plan which verify the theoretical process in practise and shows that the project is viable and has chance to be succesful.

Restaurants are a common form of an entrepreneurial activity, which gives work to thousands of people and which is a choice of many beginning entrepreneurs every year. However, very little attention is paid to this field of business. This work is a reaction to this situation and provides guidelines for compilation of a business plan and describes its specifics in catering. The first part deals with theoretical basis for entrepreneurship in this field, especially running the restaurant and hospitality trends. It is followed by description of general steps of business plan preparation. The second part focuses on practical aspects and provides a reader with a sample business plan of a restaurant with its typical structure and content. It contains description of the business, analyses of the situation in the market; it offers a marketing strategy in a marketing plan and a schedule of activities in an operational plan. It also outline human resource plan and risk analysis. Finally, a financial plan put all of the suggested together and evaluates the entrepreneurial idea from a point of view of money. The thesis discusses broad variety of aspects of foundations of a restaurant and provides the starting entrepreneurs with plenty of recommendations and guidelines how to succeed.
Relationship of demand for old Czech gastronomy and offer of chosen restaurant

This work defines the history and characteristic of Czech gastronomy in detail which is put aside by nowadays worldwide trend of healthy lifestyle. The both sides of the market are analysed individually and the results are compared in the conclusion. The demand was analysed by questionnaires which were distributed in the restaurant and filled in by the residents and the foreigners. The results of demand analysis were presented to the operational manager of the restaurant. On the basis of these results, restaurant managers can make a decision about potentional changes. The Process test explore the offer of the restaurant and is focused on the marketing strategy of the outlet and its offer.

The goal of this thesis is to elaborate a business plan which will specify a spotted business opportunity in opening a restaurant. The thesis is divided into two basic chapters. The first chapter is theoretical and describes aspects of business and the method of writing a business plan. The second chapter is practical and includes the actual business plan for establishing a restaurant in Prague 8 -- Karlín. Key parts of this business plan are executive summary, competition analysis and financial plan. The thesis should provide a framework for possible realization of the business plan and discover financial aspects of establishing a restaurant.
Analysis of accommodation and catering services in the area Železnorudsko

The general aim of this bachelor thesis was to analyse the present circumstances in the accommodation and catering facilities in the area of Železnorudsko. The aim was to evaluate the number, structure and quality of accommodation facilities and of catering establishments as well as the quality and the number of provided services. To be able to consider the present circumstances, was carried out an investigation among the visitors of this area, next the interviews with the owner of accommodations facilities and with an employee of the Tourist Information Centre of Železná Ruda. The third source was all the available information about the area and finally also own observation and experience. Consequently was made a synthesis of the obtained data and on the grounds of the obtained results was worked up suggestions and introductions for the improvement of the present state.
Analysis of accommodation and catering services in the area Klatovsko

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to analyse the offer of accommodation and catering facilities on the market within the area of the town of Klatovy, to find out the number of these facilities and the standard of offered services. The evaluation of the situation was accomplished on the basis of questionnaires submitted to the visitors of the accommodation facilities in the area of interest, including also governed interviews with a hotel owner and the director of information centre. Observation method was used as a supplementary research form. The obtained information became a basis for the data synthesis which indicates the overall situation in the area. The synthesis also yielded definitions of a few problems occurring in tourism. An important part of the thesis consists in defining proposals and recommendations aimed at the improvement and development of the catering and accommodation services in the area of Klatovy.

The aim of this work was to analyze offer of accommodation and catering facilities in the designated area. That was enabled by own study and observation, the questionnaires and controlled interviews. The necessary information rendered to build data synthesis. It contributed subsequently to the formulation of proposals and measures which are listed at the conclusion of the work.

Improving the Quality of the Town Infrastructure in the Area of Tourist Trade as the Developement Factor in the Region.

This project will markedly contribute to the development of the town of Horní Stropnice and as well as the whole South Bohemian Region in the area of tourist trade. Tourist trade is one of the key areas of the economic developement of the region. From the findings of the particular chapters of this paper it appears, that necessary organisational, technical and financial conditions for the implementation of the given capital assets and for consequent running of the planned project facilities will be created. The implemented project and its operation will generate a trading income exceeding the costs.
