Young People on the EU Labour Market

This thesis revises the position of young people on labour markets in the EU. It focuses on all the three parties involved in the problem: on young people and their school preparation for work (level, quality and structure of the education); on labour markets and what they can offer to young people; and on the European Union as an institution which should ease the entrance of young people to the working life. The author suggests, on basis of the data presented, some mesures to improve the employment of young people. That should happen especially by changing the education systems which must focus more on practice and job-related experience.
Comparison of the rules determining the tax base from employment in selected EU countries

The goal of thesis "Comparison of the rules determining the tax base of income from employment in selected EU countries" is to show principles and rules of creating tax base from employment in Slovakia, Germany and Austria and mutual comparison. Thesis compares subject of tax, incomes, which are not included in subject of tax, tax exempted incomes, expenditures to achieve, maintain and secure income and tax deductions.
Active labour market policy of Czech Republic and Slovak Republic

This thesis is concerned with increasing of employment through active labour market policy. It focuses on two countries - Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. Thesis describes theory of unemployment, it deals with historical base of labour market policy, as well as with particular actions of labour market policies of both considered countries. After that, main tools are analyzed, there are described advantages and disadvantages of particular actions, as well as whole active labour market policy approach. Recommendations for both countries are followed. Finally, thesis deals with European social fund.
Analysis of cooperation with employment offices with recruitment (FOXCONN CZ s.r.o. - production branch in Kutná Hora)

First part of thesis describes the theoretical basis of theme. The first section relates to legislative regulation of employment area including its development from 2004. The second chapter attends to cooperation possibilities of employers and employment offices. Second part of thesis concentrates on analysis of situation of particular employer - FOXCONN CZ company. The first section of this part describes the company in light of its history, positions and present cooperation with employment offices. The second section characterizes situation on regional employment market including history of local employment office and interview with its employees. The last chapter contains the particulat analysis of present cooperation methods with employment offices, economical view on this problem and final recommendations.
Foreigners on Czech labor market

This work's intention is to capture the most important immigratory movements to the Czech Republic especially in relationship with participation of foreigners at Czech labor market. First it attends to phenomena of migration from common view in context with legislative set-up of chosen problems and with present state of migration politics in the Czech Republic. Last but not least it attends to history, trends and general reasons of migration. From this viewpoint it summarizes theoretical knowledge and other information relevant to immigration problems and it briefly characterizes significant causes of migration which are not directly related to labor market. Analytic part deals with possibilities of labor use of foreigners in the Czech Republic. It results from the analysis of present situation and from labor market's needs and it examines possibilities and conditions of foreigners who are labor market's part - it focuses at the most frequently immigrating national groups including detailed analysis of Vietnamese community. This work also characterizes possible future impact of present inflow of foreigners to Czech republic's labor market. The summary of diploma work synthesizes acquired findings, exposes the most severe problems and suggests selected possibilities of their solution.
Short-time prediction of the leading factors of the Czech labour market

The diploma work analyses the leading factors of the Czech labour market. Firstly, it analyses and assesses an impact of individual factors on the labour force during the period lasting from 1997 till 2007 and it searches for the reasons regarding each variable progress. Moreover it aspires to identify possible mutual dependences between various indicators that formulate better position for the following outlook. Secondly, the work provides a short-time prediction of the most important factors that will probably affect the quantity of the labour force in the Czech Republic in course of following years. After the quantity prediction the work explains consequences regarding possible affection of the national economy's growth and identifies possible opportunities and threats connected with the changing structure of the Czech labour force.

Stanovení kritických oblastí z pohledu zaměstnanosti s pomocí SWOT analýzy. Návrh strategie ke zlepšení situace a zvýšení zaměstnanosti na Novobystřicku.
EU Strategy in Employment. European Social Fund

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou Evropské strategie zaměstnanosti, Evropského sociálního fondu a dále analýzou aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti realizované ÚP a finanční podpory, kterou ČR získává z ESF. V první kapitole se zabývám vývojem Evropské strategie zaměstnanosti. Podrobně se zde věnuji Amsterdamské smlouvě, kterou byla zahájena Evropská strategie zaměstnanosti, a Lisabonské strategii. V druhé části hodnotím výsledky Evropské strategie zaměstnanosti a Lisabonské strategie. Dále se zabývám aktivní politikou zaměstnanosti realizovanou ÚP v České republice a v kraji Vysočina. V dalších částech se pak věnuji podpoře, kterou Česká republika získává z EU prostřednictvím ESF a zaměřuji se na grantové a národní projekty realizované v kraji Vysočina. V poslední kapitole se zabývám hodnocením efektivnosti vynakládání prostředků na aktivní politiku zaměstnanosti v rámci státní politiky zaměstnanosti a na projekty podporované z ESF. Na závěr uvádím výhody, nevýhody a doporučení, která by mohla přispět ke zvýšení efektivnosti prováděných aktivit.

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vývoj a současný stav nezaměstannosti v Evropské unii. Nastiňuje možnosti a kroky, které je potřeba učinit, aby nedocházelo k zvyšování nezaměstnanosti. Uvádí kritické skupiny obyvatel, které jsou nezaměstnaností postiženy nejvíce, včetně jednotlivých států. Jsou zde zmiňovány kroky, které EU v rámci politiky zaměstnanosti podniká.

Diplomová práce se věnuje aktuálnímu tématu z oblasti trhu práce ? dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti v Evropě. Popisuje otevřenou metodu koordinace aplikovanou na politiku zaměstnanosti i na sociální začleňování. V samotné analýze popisuje příklady dobré praxe politik zaměstnanosti a sociálního začleňování pěti členských států EU včetně ČR a z nich vyvozuje doporučení řešení dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti použitelné v české sociální praxi.
