Industrial forms
Šromová, Hana ; Kornatovský, Jiří (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jaroslav (referee)
This text is a part of my years long art work. Industrial architecture and mechanical parts, fascination to functions of mechanisms and the aesthetics of industry are for years my hobby. These phenomens became fundamental for my art work. In this work I introduce my creative basis. Their main themes are fundamental changings of human's development. Subsequently I have searched for similar contents used in the artistic world. Particulary I thought about the risks and dangers which the new technical age hides from our site. Technologie from a lot of points of view abbreviates our lives but on the other hand it is also a risk for people who do not esteem the values of our environment, nature and do not think much of their own ephemerality. The didactic part of my work I spent upon playfulness which is for all children natural. Mechanisms, constructions and technologies enable the creation of an abstract world and fantastic beings. The topic of "Industries" offers a rich scale of inspiring ideas for work with children. At the same time we save the concepts of how to combine the cultural and nature's world. It is necessary to educate all in the spirit of living, staying playfull and sensetive at the same time.
COAT
Svobodová, Hana ; Pangrácová, Lucie (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
Although the main topic of my diploma thesis is Kabát, I describe in the introductory chapters of my previous work, because their creation and gradual emergence have been directed towards the final project - Kabát. As part of my sculpture, I concentrate mainly on the possibilities of transforming the human figure, using various classical and non-traditional sculptural materials. The fabric of a selected piece of clothing (in the case of a coat) is reinforced at a certain point in time, which I transposed into the feathered cavity - the coat that you put before you. His work with the "outer envelope of man" in the final passage of the text corresponds to the work of Czech and foreign artists.

The Diploma thesis titled 'The Development Of The Anarchist Press In The Czech Republic Since 1991' takes the examples of magazines A-kontra and Existence to examine not only anarchist media as the representatives of the alternative media, but also the anarchist movement itself and its thought foundations. It further examines the anarchist groups active on the territory of the Czech Republic since 1991 and the press published by them. The quantitative content analysis is used to further examine the anarchist media using the examples of the magazines of A-kontra and Existence, for instance in the area of topics, and to look for the common traits with alternative media.
Philosophy of extreme voluntarism (Schopenhauer) and its influence on later authors (Friedrich Nietzche and Ladislav Klima)
LASTOMIRSKÁ, Jana
The work deals with the extreme voluntarism and his influence on later authors. First, is the work of Schopenhauer explained the concept of the metaphysical will. Here is insights will primarily as a form of objectification and the closest is served objectification of the body, understood as object. In next section, this will monitored in philosophy of Ladislav Klíma and his idea of egodeism. For Klíma however, metaphysical will lose its transcendent ability and insight from a purely subjective point of view. The last part is mentioned Friedrich Nietzsche, whose theory of the will to power and the death of God, could be an inspiration for the Klíma's idea of egodeism.
Phenomenon of Anxiety in Beckett's Endgame
Horčicová, Zdeňka ; KOUBOVÁ, Alice (advisor) ; MUSILOVÁ, Martina (referee)
My master thesis inspects the phenomenon of anxiety in Samuel Beckett's Endgame. In this thesis, anxiety is seen from the phenomenological perspective . However, the explanation of anxiety by psychology and psychiatry is offered as well, so that more complex understanding is enabled. An analysis of Beckett's play is highly influenced by phenomenology, especially by Martin Heidegger, and also by the daseinsanalysis. In these connotations, we inspect Endgame, especially the situation of characters on the stage and the world of the play itself as a mirroring of the real world. We show that human existence is one of the most significant sources of anxiety, that it is innate to almost every human being from time to time, and that it has a remarkable dramatic potential. Although there is no final explication of Beckett's play, my thesis attempts to get closer to its understanding through the phenomenon of anxiety. As a part of this thesis, the translation of one part of Stanley Cavell's essay called Ending the Waiting Game is included, which tries to explain the meaning of Endgame in a different way.
Identity Background
Kleinerová, Zuzana ; Kleinerová, Klára (referee) ; Klodová, Lenka (advisor)
Diploma thesis Background identity is a series of events through which I am trying to find a harmony between the magic of art and life. I decided to initiate the situation, "performance" mediating an authentic, strong feelings. I tend to performance associated with life in the self-reflective approach. Based in my own performative practice in which the strength and authenticity is reflected primarily in the exchange of energy between the audience and the performer. I started to define an ideal conditions for performance to achieve this exchange, authentic experience and mutual perception of the situation within the relationship between "performer" and "spectator". In November 2015 I planned "authentic performances " series . The mutual forming of "performing" act I have anchored in the concept of identity, which is infinitely formed in relationships and the never-ending negotiation process. In the name of authenticity I am exposing myself within the anonymity of public space and waiting for the moment of identification. Waiting for concrete spectator who is already a part of me within a certain social role. Unexpected intervention into the everyday life of concrete person make the opportunity of authentic experience. Experience which is a part of his everyday life completes the action, giving the context. During the realization I got the opportunity to exhibit in the Palais de Tokyo. Aware of the significance of this opportunity for the development of my own artistic career I have decided to accepted it as a challenge. Although the terms of institution are utter contradiction of those conditions I had defined previously for authentic experience. In the name of authenticity and my principles I decided to be present in the role of spectator. To be invisible to this prestigious gallery. Be invisible to the artistic group Delta Total through which I had the opportunity to exhibit. To be inside and outside in the same time. The starting point of the last part is a necessity with the goal to get a master's degree. The necessity of outcome for jury can also betray my ideals of living authentic event. I should mediate all the experience of past events (to date 20th of April- thirty-three events) which happened in so many different places in the space of "Malá Amerika" in Brno...
Structures of Society
PILEČEK, Jan
Implementation of the topic of the thesis is based on an interpretation of the question of individuals´ identification in the society, using particular materials. This topic has to be perceived, reflected and evaluated subjectively. The method of autoreflexion led the author, while searching his own way of expression, to non-traditional materials and a specific way of working with them. Theoretical part of the thesis explains his statements, sources of inspiration and possibilities of employing author´s experiences in the process of teaching.
Existence and possible worlds
MLEZIVA, Milan
This work examines the existence of individuals and objels in possible worls. I try to show the diference in the two treatment guidelines possibilism and actualism. The work is dividend into four parts. The first part deals with history and nature of possible worlds. The second part deals with possibilism. It represents modal platonism of David Lewis and possibilism of Alexius Meinong focusing on the existence of individuals and objels. Another part deals mainly with actualism theory of Alvin Plantinga. This section is expanded to look of transparent intensional logic of Pavel Tichý. Another part compares the views of those theories.

SLAVÍČKOVÁ, Jitka
The work deals with the key concepts in the philosophy and cogitation of Emmanuel Lévinas: the responsibility, the existence, the death and the redemption. The aim of this work is methodical and digested to clear up of these terms. The first and second chapters treat about the life and publication of Lévinas and about the relation with Judaism and Talmud, because Judaism has the huge influence of Lévinas´s cogitation.
