Work called Supporting curved construction of botanical pavilon is developed as realization documentation. The building is situated in an area with low vegetation, where the hight of sorrounding buildings do not exceed 5 metres. Construction of a triaxial ellipsoid shape has a layout dimensions of 42,5 x 30 m and 7,3 m surge. Roof cladding is made from textile sheets from PTFE fibers, which are anchored to the trusses. The translucent textile sheets are used to achieve optimum conditions for plants that are grow inside. The supporting construction is made of glued laminated beams, which are tilted by 45 degrees and alternately fit together. Emphasis is placed on visual design of construction.

Bartoň, Radek ; Sýkora, Karel (referee) ; Puchner, Josef (advisor)
My task was to propose and consider steel structure of roofing of a terraces on an athletic stadium. Terraces, with the ground-plan dimensions 12,0 x 80,0 m, are designed as a reinforced concrete structure and its structural analysis is not included in this thesis. Construction is situated in area of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, which meant, It had to be accounted with considerable variable loads (wind, snow), which is associated with enlargement of a cross-sections. Cross sections of the main elements were proposed and considered and also selected joints and details of the structure. Assigned drawings are included in attachments of the thesis.
Guest House in Brno

Part of the building is located below ground level, therefore the supporting structure is made of monolithic reinforced concrete frames holding the reinforced concrete slab. Above ground level the supporting structure is made of masonry construction with folded ceiling. Drawing documentation is included.

Safety and health protection of a nurse during an exercise of her profession in a chosen medical establishment - Hospital in České Budějovice, a.s.
CHARVÁTOVÁ, Lenka
The objective of the thesis was to map the knowledge of nurses about OSH during performance of their profession at a selected medical facility ? Nemocnice České Budějovice, a.s. ? and to find out whether the nurses are aware of the risks resulting from the performance of their profession. The knowledge was surveyed by a questionnaire method. 170 respondents - nurses working in Nemocnice České Budějovice, a.s. ? were approached. The questionnaire consisted of 37 questions structured into three basic blocks. The first block focused on knowledge and observation of principles applicable to OSH and fire safety, obligations of employees and use of PPE. The second block focused on potential risks encountered by nurses performing their profession, methods and tools to protect themselves against the risks and their response to an occupational injury. The third block consisted of a subjective evaluation of OSH issues and threats posed by potential risks encountered during performance of their profession. Results of the questionnaire survey were evaluated by means of MS Excel software package and shown in summary tables. Hypothesis 1: Nurses are familiar with OSH principles? has been confirmed.I have found the knowledge of OSH principles among nurses sufficient (knowledge of obligations of the employees, periodic medical checkups, principles of use of disposable gloves, principles of manipulation with oxygen pressure cylinders, awareness of principles of correct manipulation with electric equipment, principles of use of fire extinguishers, knowledge of safety signs, principles of handling of contaminated laundry, knowledge of proper response to an injury, kinesthetic principles, knowledge of nursing procedures for treatment of an injury with a contaminated needle). Hypothesis 2: Nurses working in theselected medical facility - Nemocnice České Budějovice, a.s. - are aware of the risks that may endanger their health while performing their profession ? has not been confirmed. The nurses are not aware of the risks that endanger their health while performing their profession (knowledge of categories of work at the ward, awareness of risks, probability of occurrence of risk factors, awareness of risks involved in manipulations with oxygen pressure cylinders).
Comparative study of eating habits of children aged 12-15 years (upper primary schools) attending classes focus on sport and non-sports
FIALOVÁ, Lenka
The nutritionists are respected by the producers of baby food and it is said that the quality of these products is on a high level. While getting older our way of eating is influenced by our surroundings, especially by our family custome. The school canteens have become the integral part of catering. There are also many opportunities how to change the structure, environment, freshness and diversity of food served to children.
Data Warehouse Management and MWF Optimization
Matoušková, Barbora ; Maryška, Miloš (advisor) ; Faina, Michal (referee)
This thesis focuses on the data warehouse of an extensive bank intitution from its operational management point of view (for the main part). To grasp the fast overview of the data warehouse the thesis includes the description of its data architecture, transformation processes and the way of presenting data to its users. Besides that the description of systems used for both the business data and for the metadata purposses is also included in this thesis. The thesis also covers operational activities including the identification of weak areas and their improvements. Another part of the thesis is represented by the project of optimization of a scheduling mechanism (Master Workflow) for running transformation processes, that helps to minimalize the metadata load of the Teradata database system. The main goal of this thesis is to describe the environment of the data warehouse in an understandable way. It's critical to understand the environment for both, the operational management personnel and for developers, that can supply the warehouse with higher quality solutions and ease the deployment of new deliveries into the production environment. This goal is achieved by the description of the data warehouse (mainly the description of its data architecture, transformation processes, operational activities and tools used to deploy changes into the production environment). Another goal is to give a feedback on the operational activities from the operational personnel point of view. This helps identify weak spots and can lead to its elimination. The last goal is to improve the scheduling mechanism that controls and runs all transformation processes. This goal is achieved by a project. The thesis describes the starting state, implemented changes, final state and the consideration whether the project was successful or not. The thesis brings several contributions: easier understanding of the data warehouse and the way of managing ETL processes -- for the operational management personnel and developers, which can bring the improvement of new solutions. The possibility of elimination of weak areas in the operational activities. And thanks to the project described there are two changes -- standardization and the metadata load of Teradata decreased. My own contribution to this issue is, besides the useful introduction to the data warehouse, the identification of the weak areas, suggested improvements and also the project of optimization Master Workflow which took about 17 MD. The thesis is devided into chapters based on the topics described: introductory information, theoretical base, characteristics of the main systems, the description of the data warehouse, the description of operational activities including the identification of weak areas, and at the end there is the project of optimization of Master Workflow. In the last chapter there is the final conclusion of the entire thesis.
