Stitching Panoramas from Photos
Pospíšil, Lukáš ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Svoboda, Pavel (advisor)
The main purpose of this paper is a comparison of the algorithms for computing homography. It compares RANSAC, LO-RANSAC and PROSAC algoritms. Stiching panoramas is used just for their comparison, however the basic algoritms for stitching panoramas are mentioned.
Interest Point Detection in Images
Čížek, Roman ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with interest point detection in image. Focus especially on method SIFT, which desribes in more detail. Includes SIFT detector implementation with help of OpenCV library and evaluation its results.
Automatic Processing of Recordings from In-Car Camera
Klos, Dominik ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with the automatic processing of recordings from in-car camera, which is used for estimating distances in a scene filmed. To achieve this goal, it uses the methods of image processing, spatial geometry of the scene and 3D reconstruction, whose final output is a partial model. For this aim, the Bundler tool is used. Results of reconstruction are visualized in the application, which then allows to estimate the distance of objects from the camera or the distance between each other.
Perimeter Monitoring and Intrusion Detection Based on Camera Surveillance
Goldmann, Tomáš ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains a description of the basic system for perimeter monitoring. The main part of the thesis introduces the methods of computer vision suitable for detection and classification of objects. Furthermore, I devised an algorithm based on background subtraction which uses a Histogram of Oriented Gradients for description of objects and an SVM classifier for their classification. The final part of the thesis consists of a comparison of the descriptor based on the Histogram of Oriented Gradients and the SIFT descriptor and an evaluation of precision of the detection algorithm.
Robot Localization Using Camera
Heřman, Petr ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The objective of this work is to design a simple localization method and its implementation in robot operating system ROS. This method uses a monocular camera as the only sensor and estimates the position in a known map. In experiments with prototypes are tested key points of type SURF, SIFT and ORB.
Development of Meta-Server for Prediction of Mutations Effects on Protein Function
Lisák, Peter ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Jaša, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with analysis of genomic data, more specifically prediction of effects of mutations on protein function using a protein sequence or tertiary structure. The theoretical introduction describes the basics of genetics and bioinformatics and is followed by description of selected prediction tools such as SIFT, MAPP and AUTO-MUTE. A unified interface for work with different tools is proposed in the thesis. The meta-server interface allows running a computation and collecting results from one site. meta-server combines results of implemented tools and provides a consensual prediction, which is expected to be more accurate than the results from individual tools. Finally, testing of meta-server on the real data and comparisons of predictions with the experimentally obtained results are presented.
Parametrization of Image Point Neighborhood
Zamazal, Zdeněk ; Bařina, David (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on parametrization of image point neighborhood. Some methods for point localization and point descriptors are described and summarized. Gabor filter is described in detail. The practical part of thesis is chiefly concerned with particle filter tracking system. The weight of each particle is determined by the Gabor filter.
Detection of Corresponding Points in Images
Komosný, Petr ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis is interested in detection of corresponding points in images, which display the same object, eventually some of important elements and synchronizing these images. The aim of this thesis is to find, study and choose suitable algorithm for detecting interesting points in image. This algorithm will be apply at couple of images and in these images will find couples of corresponding points across these images. Functional output of this thesis will be application which will realize choosen interesting points detector, algorithm for finding correspondencies of regions and their synchronizing and joint them to one output image.
Interest Point Detection in Images
Duda, Tomáš ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the interest point detection in images. The main goal is to create an application for making panoramic photos, which is based on this detection. The application uses the SIFT detector for finding keypoints of the image. Afterwards the geometrical consistence of image points using the RANSAC algorithm is finds out and images are transform into panorama in accordance with this geometrical consistence. Finally techniques for blending of transition between photos are used.
Object Detection and Tracking Using Interest Points
Bílý, Vojtěch ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Juránek, Roman (advisor)
This paper deals with object detection and tracking using iterest points. Existing approaches are described here. Inovated method based on Generalized Hough transform and iterative Hough-space searching is  proposed in this paper. Generality of proposed detector is shown in various types of objects. Object tracking is designed as frame by frame detection.
