Attitudes of Agricultural Entrepreneurs to Comprehensive Land Adjustments

Aim of bachelor thesis is to design the landscape measures that are consistent with sustainable development, on selected cadastral territories in the catchment area of Trnava. In addition, will be also found attitudes of the agricultural organizations to proposed amendments to the land that they own or lease. The proposed landscape measures will seek to restore the fundamental ecological functions of the landscape, especially the stabilization of the water regime, restore biodiversity and lay the foundations for a high quality of life in the landscape. In the theoretical part defines the terms landscape, landscape character, elements of the landscape, ecological stability, land management, agricultural, its development and impact on the landscape, landscape adjustment, land adjustment and territorial system of ecological stability. The practical part describes the selected area - Cadastral territories Hořepník and Košetice, also presented farms - Agrodam Hořepník Ltd. and Agropodnik Košetice, Plc. Proposals landscape measures are designed with an emphasis on stabilization and drainage conditions and improve biodiversity of the landscape. With using Quantum GIS are measures drawn into the map. In an interview with agricultural entrepreneurs will be questions aimed at comprehensive land adjustment in general, on the proposed land adjustment and their willingness to embrace change. Of obtained responses by the interviewed subjects, we can state that depends only and only on the interests of farmers and sophistication of man, what is the view of the problems of land adjustment. Unfortunately, it is well known that the farmers of these arrangements often look very negatively. Comprehensive land adjustments complicate their work, but they are necessary; therefore, to look for tools those farmers attitudes have changed. These tools include a change of subsidy policy, attitudes of insurance, the influence of the local community, education and enlightenment of the company. On the basis of findings can be said that as land adjustment, which are currently implemented, are adapt rather to the needs of farms. In my view, however comprehensive land adjustments be in the public interest to implement consistently. In order to reach the target condition, it is necessary to create tools to accelerate progress.

Options effective use of private insurance for chosen agricultural company

This aim of this thesis is to tackle the effective use of risk management within private insurance for a selected agricultural company. The paper suggests that it is fundamental to identify such a risk and subsequently define it. Consequently, the identified risk is analysed along with the concept of insurance, which is also essential for work. After an analysis of agricultural insurance in the Czech Republic, the paper further compares the variety of insurance available as offered by local insurance companies. The state's point of view is scrutinized in relation to the variety of insurance offered, as the state provides the Support and Guarantee Fund and Agricultural and Forestry Fund, Inc., which provides subsidies to the farmers. Subsequently, the paper demonstrates the importance of the insurance broker, who acts as a mediator between the insurance company and the farmer. In conclusion, the paper will contemplate to illustrate a real-life example in an agrarian society.

Business Plan - The setting up of a goat´s farm

The aim of this thesis is the creation of a business plan in order to set up a business. The business is specialised in the breeding of goats and direct distribution of products made from goat's milk. A fundamental part of the plan is constituted by the conducted strategic analysis. The basis of the analysis compilation were data from prominent Czech organizations, an analysis of the market, and communication with competitors and experts. There were also similarities in other important parts of the plan. This is represented by a marketing, production and financial plan. The marketing plan provides information about used marketing strategies. The production plan informs about technologies and the volume of production. In order to validate the viability of the existent aim, the research was conducted on the basis of the financial plan. One of the benefits of this paper is the identification and elaboration of all important aspect influencing the initiation and subsequent functioning of a particular business, as well as the proposition of solutions for problematic areas.

About the development of the Czechoslovakian sugar industry in the European context of the interwar period

The object of this work is to analyze the sugar industry in the interwar period in European, and in addition, global context. The work focuses on international conventions, their national applications and the reaction of other countries in the sugar industry. It is divided into two thematic units. The first one deals with the characterization of the foreign trade of Czechoslovakia, the second addresses the particular issue of the sugar industry. The work puts great emphasis on the perception of the sugar industry in its broadest context possible. For this reason it analyzes the issue of the sugar industry also in periods of time, which are seemingly unrelated to the work, but are necessary for understanding the problematic. Further, it focuses on the interdependence of individual structures of the sugar industry institutions and their reaction to the development in the evaluated time period. The overall analysis style aims at gradually more specific problems. Conclusions of the work are supported by a great number of opinions, both those of the author and specialists of that time, but also quantitative data. The main goal of this work is to verify the hypothesis that the crises were caused by a shift away from the free market. Throughout the course of the analysis the assumption is verified in case of almost all considered crises. It also shows that no administrative measures can be effective due to the market. The connection between the government and the sugar industry was evident, and thanks to this interdependence the sugar industry enforced many laws.

Bachelor thesis is focused on proposing strategies for the agricultural society AG-ROSEV spol. s r.o. The strategies are formulated based on Ansoff matrix product - market. Proposals for strategies are based on environment analysis, which are made by using PESTEL method, Porter's model of five drivers, McKinsey 7S model and BCG matrix. At the conclusion of this thesis is the most convenient strategy economically evaluated and given recommendations for its implementation.

The theoretical part describes economic factors, factors affecting agriculture and human source as a factor for innovation and development . The practical part has a focus on satisfying aims of this thesis. The questionnaire was made for this purpose and 50 respondents from agriculture companies answered to it.

Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of agricultural subsidies provided to agricul-tural entrepreneurs and current evidence of these subsidies in accounting. The theoretical part includes agricultural and subsidy policy within the EU and the Czech Republic, individual subsides and then complete accounting of this subsidies. The result of the practical part is based on the description and analysis of the subsidies granted in 2014 and currently being prepared subsidies, recommended draft subsidies and their recognition for the concrete agricultural entrepreneur.

Vývojové tendence zemědělství v Královéhradeckém kraji

Thesis evaluates developmental trends in agriculture in Hradec Kralove region. Except general characteristics, the development of dimension and structure of basic commodities production is evaluated here including the comparison to other regions in Czech Republic. Data processing of harvest development and status of selected agricultural commodities in crop and livestock production serve as a means for evaluation. Thesis contains cartodiagrams which display changes in commodity outputs of agriculture in particular regions of Czech Republic, processed using software ArcGIS 10.1. Thesis mainly outlines and evaluates the situation prior to Czech accession to the European Union in 2004 and following changes which stemmed from the adoption of European Union Common Agricultural Policy.
