E-trading B2C in a global environment

This paper analyzes possibilities of a Czech customer in a global world of internet commerce and is oriented only to B2C trading. The first part is focused on explaining individual terms such as e-commerce, the types and forms of e-trading and the types of products that can be bought on the internet. In the second part it is defined what a customer has to know when he/she wants to buy something on the internet abroad. Then recommendations are introduced, as to what the customer should do to make his/her purchase profitable. In the last part these recommendations are presented on concrete examples.

The last section characterizes the most significant foreign online grocers and also focuses on czech e-grocery market.
Running an online store

This diploma thesis is focused on running an online shop in the Czech Republic. Online shopping is the fenomenon of modern age and had a strong infulence on consumer behavior. Customers can browse shops and order from shops all over the world at any time of day. In the first part of this work I am presenting theoretical background and basic principles on which online shopping is founded. I am also exploring its benefits, risks and possible limitations. Next, I am exploring the current situation of online shopping in Czech Republic and the prerequisites for further development. In the second part I am focusing on activities that are integral to the area of online shopping. This includes advertising systems, choice of software implementation, payment system, marketing campaigns or goods distribution. I am comparing possible options for every one of these areas and I am also suggesting advice tailored for different kinds of businesses. The overall aim of this work is to use my own experience to create a comprehensive guide on running an online store..
Payment for goods and services via mobile communication

The subject of my work is to analyze possible options that are nowadays available for mobile payment for goods and services. It should provide the reader with a view into the future, which depends, to some extent, on the behaviour of our society and the technical progress. The work is divided into four parts. In the first part the reader becomes acquainted with the terms and is being introduced to the problem. In the second part he finds out how the mobile payments are classified, possible solutions and what emphasis is put on the security. Next part tries to analyze a questionnaire that was created for this work. The evaluation should provide conclusions applicable for the introduction of new solutions for mobile payments in Czech Republic. The last part is dedicated to suggesting solutions for a particular case, therefore practical application of acquired knowledge. The aim of this work is to provide the reader with a compact view on the ways of payments using the mobile communication. He should gain from it an awareness of classifying these payments, terminology that accompanies it, problems associated with the establishment, security resolution and the world experiences.
Usage of some types of SMS in E-commerce

Práce si klade za cíl poskytnout ucelený pohled na problematiku využití SMS zejména v oblasti internetu. Vysvětluje základní pojmy jako jsou e-commerce, SMS, Premium SMS, Mikroplatební SMS, MT Billing a další. Značná část je věnována obchodní stránce využití SMS v oblasti zpoplatnění internetových služeb a obsahů. Zmíněny jsou i některé technické aspekty zavádění SMS Mikroplateb na internetu. Nastíněny jsou rovněž kategorie možného využití SMS Mikroplateb na internetu. Po vymezení základního rámce SMS služeb využitelných pro internetové zpoplatnění se práce dále věnuje důvodům vzniku a uplatnění SMS Mikroplateb v prostředí internetové reality, projektu SMSden.com a jeho konkrétním přínosům v oblasti internetového zpoplatnění obsahů a služeb. V části zaměřené na praktickou stránku zavádění služby SMSden.com je popsán postup zavádění na konkrétním příkladu zpoplatnění článků internetového časopisu. Následuje část věnovaná statistikám využití SMS Mikroplateb na českém internetu, získaným ze systému SMSden.com a jejich zhodnocení. V závěru jsou uvedeny možné směry budoucího vývoje v oblasti SMS zpoplatnění a využití služeb založených na Premium SMS, zhodnoceny přínosy, ale také možné nevýhody postupného zavádění SMS zpoplatnění a SMS služeb zpoplatnění umožňujících.
Possibilities of the Internet Trade with the Accent on Small and Medium Sized Companies

Práce se v teoretické části zabývá definicí a vývojem internetu i elektronického obchodování nejen ve světě, ale také v ČR. V další části se věnuje problematice malých a středních podniků u nás. Posléze jsou poznatky z teoretických kapitol aplikovány na konkrétní případ středního podniku Skleněná bižuterie a.s. Po provedení analýzy využití internetu v dané firmě jsou zde navrženy možnosti, jak tento stav vylepšit pro zvýšení ekonomických přínosů, snížení nákladů a v neposlední řadě pro podporu image firmy.
Comparing SaaS e-Shops for small and middle business unit

The goal of this bachelor project is to compare offers of a few e-Commerce (e-Shop) solutions which are realized as SaaS (Software-as-a-Service). After this comparison, I will try to chaose the most suitable e-Commerce projects for small and middle business units (SMUs). The project is divided into five sections. The first part starts with a definition and description of the problem. The following two sections include the theoretical aspects of SaaS and e-Commerce. There are defined the basic features and there is also written something about history and technology of these models. The next part deals with mentioned comparison of several e-Shop projects. There are defined the criterias for choosing of the individual providers and the metrics for evaluation. The output from this part is the order of the best e-Shop solutions for the Czech SMUs. The fifth section is aimed at a description of a practical e-Shop implementation. Concretely, the implementation is used for small Czech firm which deals in gardening. There are described the specific requirements of the company and estimated a future impacts on its economy. The conclusion sums up the bachelor project and there is also estimated an evolution of the SaaS model.
Web Analytics for E-Commerce

This thesis covers all main aspects of web analytics. Basic concepts, sources of data and the ways to make actionable decisions are mentioned. Web analytics market is considered by two point of views: as a market of software analytical tools and a market of web analysts. The main goal of this thesis is to describe the concepts and the usage of key metrics that are useful for e-shops. Aspect of using web analytics for internet marketing and the principles of geographic location of users are described.
